I was thinking of playing this combo as well but I was worried the self-inflicted raw damage from Berserker would count against the 7 hit limit of Gilded Enmity, so ultimately I rolled a Berserker/Bleak Walker instead. Can you tell if Gilded Enmity is affected/removed by the Berserker self-DOT? Normal DoT will remove Gilded Enmity. For raw damage DoT, i'm not sure, but i think no it wont remove gilded.

  3. In theory a 2H should only be better if you are auto-attacking from stealth, utilizing a full attack should grant the bonus to both weapons when backstabbing right? No, only first attack get bonus.
  4. I think they overtuned the BW/Assassin combo. Even at max lvl I can only do around 150 damage with backstabbing.
  5. Yes i think so, even the dual wielding style get a slight nerf. Also modal bonus/penalty is adjusted, greatsword modal only gives 30% damage bonus while -10 acc.
  6. I'm pretty sure about this, because in beta 4 when I check the combat log the Might bonus is shown separately from other bonus, but in the real game it's shown together with other bonus. But yeah I agree it's better documented in a patch or something.

  8. The tiger actually is pretty strong in beta, even stronger than most of enemies there. But is a bit off topic.
  9. I don’t wanna argue because it makes no sense. But if u turn Gib on your enemy will explode when died withou corpse, and u cannot resurrect without corpse.

This is the damage of one monk, if u rolled 5, u can do 10000 damage, and what boss has such amount of hp?I mean that auto-resurrect abilities are so common even before endgame that the bosses are probably going to auto-resurrect like crazy. Probably resurrect even stronger.Man you try really hard Well Druid/Priest/Chanter all have resurrects that add inspirations, Paladin/Fighter/Druid have auto-resurrect, many late-game spells are primarily useful for Destroy, and plenty of games have endgame bosses that resurrect repeatedly. So it does seem overwhelmingly likely. Not a stretch at all. Can you console-summon some likely endgame bosses to test? findgamedata Eothas? Nah I have no urge to discuss with you at all. This is not game breaking. Edit: one last point, if u assume a boss has unlimited resurrect, then you cannot beat the boss without destroy, which is a bad design because u cannot guarantee your team has destroy. If u argue the resurrect is limited, then it doesn’t counter the point that this ability is game breaking.

  15. Also another broken combo need to mention in beta is. Monk Swift Flurry + Rod, or Swift Flury + Kalakoth's Minor Blight or Citzal's Lance. Or Swift Flurry + Driving Flight. Basically any attack that target more than one enemy can be used with Swift Flurry to create this combo. The mechanism is Swift Flurry has a chance to trigger another attack when u crit. And if you attack multiple target, the chance to trigger attack is largely increased. The OP thing is every hit it triggered hit multiple target, and cause a cascading effect. You can check this video if u interested in the combo, this is not fixed in beta 4 btw:
  16. Shattered Pillar is bad for solo. A solo monk will walways get hit enough to build wounds, but shattered has a max wound threshold of 5 instead of 9(10?). I'm personally torn between Soul Blade and Ascendant for cipher/monk, seems like Soul Blade is much stronger early game and the late game shouldn't be a problem either way, but still Ascendant sounds so nteresting in theory. No it's not bad for soloing, speciall when u stun all enemies, as a normal monk u cannot get wounds.

Also once u upgrade Torment Reach it does aoe Stun, as a Shattered Pillar u generate wound by damaging enemy, so u can spam aoe Stun which is pretty cheesy. His ultimate is pretty strong too, Whipser of the Wind = 6 full attack against 6 enemy and as a Shattered Pillar u can also spam these. Monk also has nice modal and passive, but sine u usually spam all your wounds, it won't do much. A Nalpazca is pretty strong too because with high alchemy drug last very long. U can generate wound per 3 sec with drugs on. Pretty sweet when combine with 10 Int, 50% fire damage bonus from modal, u can also stack another 30% lightning lash from Lightning strike. Or pick Swift Flurry + Passive to stack 25+33% chance to do extra hit when crit. Overall Monk has good abilities from early game to late game. Thanks. Was thinking about combining Shattered Pillar with (or Nalpazca it seems) with Berserker, Streetfighter (for solo play for all those nice bonuses from being flanked etc), Cipher or Skald. What do you think? All sounds solid to me, but I would single class it to get these sweet high level ability earlier.
  18. Some other pretty broken combo I played in beta is for example a Devoted/Soulblade. The most broken ability in beta is Cleave stance, it allows fighers to trigger a full attack to every enemy around when kill an enemy. It can instantly max your focus. Then u can use Soul Annihilation which is the core ability of Soulblade to do another kill blow, which triggers more cleave... Other build is pretty strong for example Devoted/Bleakwalker, Bleakwalker/Assassin. But both FoD and Rogue is nerfed recently, FoD gives 50%->30%->25% fire damage now. It's upgraded version gives only 10% fire bonus only which is pretty meh. But the combo is still pretty strong because backstabbing with Assassin is just powerful. Also I found a Helwalker/Kind Wayfarer to be strong because Helwalker gives +10 Might when max wound, which makes u heal and hit harder. You receive 50% additional damage but since u are healed with White Flame(FoD heals team members), it's quite tanky.
