Tho you can only put one seal on the ground at one time ind Deadfire, you can place multiple symbol of magran if casting from stealth, they last pretty long if you have high INT so you can place a lot , then use Call of Rymrgand to pull enemies to your trap. I think Obsidian try to prevent the same strategy we used in Poe 1 to stack enough seal to kill enemies right after starting combat, so they put a limit on number of seals we can put at one time, but Symbol is still stackable, only drawback is it last much less than seal so how many you can put is limit to let's say 6-7 in max.
  2. Also the symbol of priests are too good to me, like poe1 you can put several of them before combat and that can instant kill those not too big bosses.
  3. Yes, specially when u combine Blade cascade with a potentially 200-300% lash buff, it’s devastating. Almost all combat can end in 30 sec with both activated. And SoT is the key.
  4. Like I said in the last post and I will make it more clear, for the first stage, before two gigantic oozie try to merge (which is when one dropped to its half hp), use Lockdown to seal one oozie, which if a hit will last more than 20 sec. Then keep Gambit another one to death since gambit will interrupt and gigantic oozie only has 3 layer of concentration. For the second stage, there are one gigantic oozie and two masssive one, massive ones merges when their hp drop to 3/4, you need to use Shout of hosts to stun both massive oozie, which if a hit will last more than 13 sec, which is enough to kill one to prevent oozie from merging. For the last stage, kill the left gignatic one and you need to deal with another pair of massive ones. I use Avenging Storm to burst my dps and use No Quarter from the boots to interrupt both oozie when they try to merge, 5 sec is enough with gambit + avenging storm to kill one of them. And for the question of corrosive solvent, you have vanishing strike so in most period of battle you are invisible, which means oozie will not use abilities at you, you are untargetable. The only annoying thing is gigantic oozie will wandering around if it can't see you, so if you don't pay attention you hit might be out of range when they wander away. It's doable, but random factor might ruin the combat, for example u missed your shout, or no quarter didn't hit both oozie and etc, so I'd say the chance is half half to beat hauani.
  5. I remember in the first a few version of the game full attack was using offhand recovery time, but currently in 5.0 I found that my full attacks are using mainhand weapon to calculate recovery, anyone know when this is changed? Thanks!
  6. Need wit of death's herald for sure, and optimize assassin's dps. With maximized INT, empower, brilliant you will have up to 140 sec before run out of Guile, if you dps is high enough oozie is killable. Also there's a watcher ability called No time for the Lost which extend your benefit duration for around 10 sec, which could be used to extend brilliant and blade cascade. I tried to solo hauani with a holy slayer recently, at first i really think it is impossible but after a lot of tries this is also doable, you will need 3 stun to prevent gigantic oozie and massive oozie's merging, I used Lockdown from warden gloves, No quarter from the rakhan field boots and Shout of hosts from heaven's cacophony, then kill one oozie when both are stunned/knockdown. Need a lot of optimization/micromanagement but doable.
  7. Hmm when you can use SoT to extend Blade cascade and 200%+ Lash bonus from Deltro's cage helm i don't think it's balanced.
  8. One build that can solo all mega bosses without infinite resource cheese is SC assassin, it's also pretty smooth to reach lvl 19 to get vanishing strike as you have invisibility.
  9. Dorudugan has 21 slash AR, so you might only be able to penetrate him if you crit, otherwise your bleeding cut dam would be pretty low.
  10. Surprised you can reduce the time to solo dorudugan in 20min with herald, mind share gears and abilities you use? Recently I'm also able to solo dorugan with a Bleakwalker/assassin, with the help of watcher ability(the one that gives u 30 sec brilliant) and enough invisibility potions... Will try Haunai later but i think for Holy slayer dorudugan is the hardest because of how limited resource holy slayer has, it might be easier to solo Haunai since backstabbing can stun and Haunai has not resist to Con affliction, which means Bleakwalker's sicken on FoD helps a lot there.
  11. I don't think you can solo Dorugudan with inquisitor in melee anymore, if you kite it, well takes a few hours maybe. Wiz, priest and monk can finish boss in within 10 min while herald will take more than 1 hour...
  12. Some more stuff if not mentioned before, if you have blade cascade on and grave calling, you can permanently stun-lock mega bosses even they have body affliction resistance, dunno if this is an oversight but that paralyze from weapon cannot be resisted.
  13. A trick if you do not know yet, you can equip/unequip the oozie pet repeatedly to extend Brilliant duration, same as other buffs ( must be a bug but ultimate itself is a bug who cares ), no need salvation of time for that.

You made a point yeah, I think this really depends on enemies, for high resolve bosses, Effort ensures u to get at least two DoT ticks, the initial 15% DoT and another tick when wounding ends, in this case I'd say Effort is better, for trash mobs Voidwheel is better, also it's heavily depends on your attack speed. Also if you have very low INT, you can ensure every time you hit with Effort after the old DoT ends, lets say you hit every 4 sec, and the DoT last 3 sec, then you can count it as 15 + 15 = 30% lash in this case, then you hit enemy again and you apply DoT on them again and so on. Really depends on builds.
  16. Voidwheel necrotic lance targets fortitude as the same spell does, I think it will work well on small creeps and minor bosses, but doubt it will work on big bosses like Dorudugon. Btw doesn’t Ring of rest only has 3 charges?
  17. No it’s 15% of dam per 3 sec. It’s true if you keep attacking one enemy because it doesn’t stack with itself, but like Boeroer said if u attack between enemies or do aoe attacks it’s very nice. Also for bosses that has high resolve, usually your DoT last within 3 sec, then it doesn’t matter if stack or not, still better than voidwheel because if it lasts 3 sec than it’s 15+15=30% dot in total.
  18. Actually Effort is a very strong weapon because the Maiming enchantment. It is 15% of your TOTAL damage as raw damage per 3 second for 6 second, so with 10 INT, its 0, 3, 6 second 3 ticks equals to extra 45% raw damage in total, which can be extended by more invest into INT. It's like a weaker version of Axe bleeding cut and you get Effort in the very early part of the game. Imo for pure dps aspect, Effort is better than Voidwheel or any other gswords, unless u want the self-damage part of voidwheel to get wounds and etc. Basically there are three big factor of damage you do, 1) basic damage and damage bonus, 2) lash, 3) wounding DoT, you want all the three part to be high to do more damage. For example, a bleakwalker/assassin can do up to 300 (900 if including DoT) damage in one shot with backstab, greataxe and FoD.
  19. So I debugged a bit the code and fixed this myself. Going to abilities.gamedatabundle and search for id "cf1ed8cc-ff4d-4cc1-b2ad-db58c5875d4a", change IsNonCombatOnly to false and it will work properly after.
  20. Comparing with the Helstone, I pretty sure this amulet is bugged, because I didn't see indecisive in my summary in combat.
  21. As topic, this amulet said to give indecisive at the beginning of combat. But I think this amulet is bugged, it doesn't grant u the buff indecisive, but grant you the ability to use indecisive, but i cannot find an ability icon i can click.
