  1. No thank you, I want those to be separate
  2. Classic dungeon design= ruins of undermountain they had a ton of exits near the top and portals every where in the lower levels. Those that built dungeons want a way out, it makes sense. Would the dungeon owner want to go up 13 levels to leave? No.
  3. Uhhh that is a horrible idea to force someone to finish the entire dungeon before moving on. Other dungeons had portals out of the dungeon and this should be no different
  4. Based on KS comments there might be one more
  5. Pretty much this right here, seems like they were discussing it
  6. I'm guessing they did not think they would hit 3.5 so early
  7. Well considering does not have publishers to worry about I think we are good
  8. Like the dude, but it seems like the OE guys are done with the designers. Otherwise they would have name dropped him for a stretch goal
  9. I hate the standard medieval fantasy tropes, and am glad OE is mixing it up a little.
  10. I have no issue with it. Just make sure your original backers have the exclusive loot that won't be able to be had with the late comers
  11. Oh, god, no. Drakensangs cities were boring compared to Baldur's Gate, Athkatla, Sigil etc. They didn't improve on it at all either in the sequal Also, if you dislike talking for hours, maybe this wont be the game for you. Just mentioning it... Big city should be interesting enough. And it's really hard to make 4 additional pledges inbetween. Since they kinda need all that money just for the city idea. Which also makes it quite impossible for those saying "switch them around". $200K and $500K aren't equal now, are they? I think you are missing my point.
  12. It's appealing but there is nothing in between to keep the interest going. 500k seems really large..where as 100k/200k seem easier to achieve making it more likely to have people their pledge http://forums.obsidi...80#entry1235579 Just in case you missed the quote. The nearest thing Obsidian/BIS did is probably Barcelona in Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader. I haven't played it by myself but quite many people didn't complain of it although they complained a lot of other things in the game. I saw that quote, it was in response to my question about mini stretch goals.

  14. So you're thinking that this announcement might create a big surge in donations with just 4 days left? If it were to happen, then I really underestimated this project... not to say that what they have already done is incredible. OE seems to think so, when I asked them about mini stretch goals to keep interest up
  15. On the other hand, it also costs money and time, better spend in the big city/keep. Unless of course you want goals so tiny that excitement will be pretty nihil by achieving them anyway. Or just use something you had planned for the game originally and use it as more of a info dump stretch.
