  1. Couldn't agree more. All good points. But it could have been worse. The broken leg of Alex Smith looked darn ugly.
  2. I've been a McCarthy supporter for a long time but I can also see his time is coming to an end. The example of Andy Reid is very good. I think McCarthy will get the boot at the end of the season and be picked up pretty fast by another time and get some success rolling. Cleveland perhaps? It's so frustrating to have a season over so early for the second year in a row. All these playoff years have really spoilt one. Howabout Kyler Sackerell though? Who saw that coming this summer?
  3. But the Giants have an elite QB with two SB wins.
  4. Or even worse. *sneeze*Raiders**cough**sneeze**snore*
  5. Great points. I agree with most of it. I'd also like to chip in and say that this also resembles some of the previous games of Obsidian, for example Kotor 2 and Alpha Protocol. Games that didn't sell that well and were very criticized initially but over time got a lot of fans and complimentary articles. Maybe the fate of Deadfire will be the same.
  6. I hardly think it was one (1) thing that sank Deadfire. Personally I found Deadfire superior to PoE in all aspects and I can't really grasp how it was able to sell less than its predecessor. It's sad though. Whatever comes next from Obsidian, it probably will be stuff catered to the Xbox and chances are I won't care for it.
  7. Maybe that's why Giants took a RB in the latest draft, cause they saw more QB prospects in the coming one. But they couldn't know where they would end up in the draft order, so they took a big risk in that case. But as it now stands, seems like they will be in a pretty good spot come draft day next year after all.
  8. I see Undisputed as professional wrestling. It's not sports, it's entertainment. I actually think Skip and Shannon have great chemistry together. It works, but you have to take it for what it is; a spectacle.
  9. I was ironic. The inconsistency defintely happened, along with injuries, but most importantly, they were outcoached by the Patriots. Season over? I very much think so. Can't see them beating either Vikings nor the Bears. I think the Packers can lose two more games and still have a decent shot of making the playoffs at 9-6-1. The NFC seems a bit weak this year: we're competing with one of the Bears and Vikings for a wildcard spot and/or the division as of now...though if we lose to the Seahawks, I would wager that pretty much ends any hopes because that's a two-game swing to them basically. So it really just depends on whether they get their crap together and win the games they should win, or if they keep floundering about. At this point, I'm more of the opinion that they won't, but I've been wrong before. Right now, I can't see the Packers beating neither Bears nor the Vikings (heck I'm not even certain about the Lions). On top of that we have a road game at Seattle. I just don't see how we are supposed to rack up the wins needed to even come out with a wild card. Defense is okayish but offense stutters like a son of a gun, which particularly includes Rodgers. And you can't say it's "still early in the season". We're halfway through and apart from some flashes it looks incredibly mediocre.
  10. What? The Cowboys were supposed to be a new team with their new #1 reciever. Atleast according to Skip Bayless.

  12. Any predictions for the GOAT matchup this weekend? I think the Pats look seriously much worse this season compared to the recent previous seasons so I actually think the Packers have a chance. And just because I think that, Packers will lose of course.
  13. Couldn't agree more. Poor Cowboys. So Clinton-Dix got traded. I think it's a mistake. He would have been more worth to the team the reast of the year compared to a 4th round pick (even if they wouldn't have resigned him, which they obviously weren't). They guys picking up the slack are seriously worse.
  14. It's a crappy situation the Buccs are in. Winston is clearly not a franchise QB, despite what everyone have tried to say since he got drafted. And Fitzpatrick is just not something to build on, no matter how spectacular he can be on certain instances. Buccs needs a new QB. And now over to my beloved Packers. They actually played a pretty good game. Kenny Clarke and Jaire Alexander were really great. That being said, it's still an L. Ty Montgomery did a stupid thing not taking a knee in the end zone at the end, but they could have sealed the deal prior to that. It was the offense that lost the game yesterday. However, I don't think they can make it into the play offs now. They needed this win and being so close, I think it will be a blow to the morale. Add to that Clinton-Dix possibly being traded. Not looking good at all.
  15. I still think the Giants made a big mistake not drafting a QB. They went second and had plenty to chose from. They will need to replace Eli within 3 years and chances they won't be that high in the draft again within the next couple of years and no guarantees the draft class will be so QB heavy as it was this year. Strategically a QB is worth ten times compared to a RB.
  16. Yeah, that's a really great portrait. Would also be interesting to get a portrait take on that dudes twin sister.
  17. To me this seems to be the deal of the season; any team, however piss poor they seem to be, can beat the other team. I know the "any given Sunday" but this year seems to really be the case. And the exception, to confirm the rule, are the LA Rams of course.
  18. The Giants made a big blunder not drafting a QB this year. Truly.
  19. Did I say Aaron Rodgers is the GOAT? Well, scrap that. Abysmal performance from Green Bay. They need to start showing up for more than one half of the game and they'd be atleast decent.
  20. Packers looked good on defense yesterday, but I figure it's because of a poor Bills O-line. Will be smacked back to reality soon enough. Rodgers pissed about Mike McCarthy though. So that can end up in a very bad way along the road, if the offense doesn't pick up soon.
  21. Totally agree. Mo Wilkerson and William Hayes are gone for the season too. The injuries are starting to pile up. But what about them Buccs? Should they start Fitzmagic or Winston?
  22. So the question on all the talkshows about the NFL will be; "Is Mahomes GOAT?". ^^
  23. Really up and down. Teams that looked good last week didn't so much this week. Rams and Chiefs look really good though. I know it's early but still, they look legit. Packers offense was crap yesterday. Long time since I've seen them so poor catching the ball (and 12 was off on a few early passes too).
  24. Yeah, the Bills are seriously crappy this year. Hard to imagine they were in the playoffs last season.
