  1. I can't belive how the Cowboys wasted this game away. Even though everyone knew how poor the Packers are against the run, and the fact that the Cowboys have the best paid RB in the league, they still decided it was the right call to pass the ball a whole (even in the beginning when they weren't down that much). I mean come on. It's like they wanted to lose. I'll take the win, for sure, I just can't belive how it was handed to us. Lions next. Go Pack Go.
  2. Stop it. You are just trying to un-jinx your own team. Sure you lost your LT but it won't matter much because you will be running the ball a lot. Zeke will gash the Packer D big and when they adjust, Dak throws it to Cooper or Cobb. Add homefield to that. It will be painful to watch.
  3. As for Packers at Cowboys. Note that Davante Adams, Bryan Bulaga and Jamaal Williams are all probably out. That is a huge downside to the offense. Cowboys have Zeke and Amari Cooper. I'm telling you, it won't even be close.
  4. I'm willing to agree. Though Miami have made every attempt to make sure they suck. I still can't belive they traded Minkah away.
  5. Packers D was almost invisible against the Eagles. King and Alexander were good, but other than that... So going up against the Cowboys we will take another loss I'm afraid. The Cowboys are better on all areas compared to the Eagles, except QB, but Dak has been good enough at the start of this season. Sure, the Cowboys got banged up a bit last night, but so are the Packers. Add homefield advantage to Dallas and the Cowboys will win by 21 points. It won't even be close. I hate this. PS. I know it's a shocking thought, but doesn't the Lions look kinda good?
  6. Sorry, but I really want a win against the Cowboys to shut the mouth of Skip Bayless. Not that it will matter I suppose, cause he will regardless find a stat that shows that Dak is outright superior to Rodgers.
  7. Stumbled ourselves to another win, yet again thanks to our D. I can't help feeling there's been a lot of luck to these three Packer wins. The Eagles might be where it all turns sour, we'll see. But for now, I'm super happy we're 3-0. Never saw that coming going into the season.
  8. Going into this week I was super optimistic about beating a 0-2 Broncos with Flacco at the helm. Cause at the beginning of the season I was certain we would be 0-2 ourselves at this point and here we are, top of the north and 2-0. But then by midweek I got thinking that the poison called "over confident" might strike against the Broncos, who themselves probably want vengeance after being robbed last week. Von Miller haven't had a sack yet and he probably wanna show up big on Sunday. Still Tugboat Flacco at the helm though. I'm currently cautiously optimistic.
  9. I thought the exact same thing. But then they started stumbling again. But it's okay. A new O takes time to get going and gel. I actuelly assumed we would be 0-2 by this week, so this is just a pleasant surprise. Go Pack Go! Saints without Brees is not a "real test". Fins trading away Minkah is just stupid. Even if they are tanking and want to start over with Tua next season, they still need some semblance of a core to get anywhere. Minkah should have been part of that core.
  10. So after the Packers upset the Bears last week I felt full of confidence and thought the Vikings at home would be a breeze. Then I saw the Vikings manhandle the Falcons and now I'm all nervous again and feel like a loss is coming our way. The defence looked good of course but Rodgers and the rest of the offence were really bad, and the Viking's defence will be at par with the Bears.
  11. Zeke deal is done. Biggest RB contract ever (of course). Which means the Cowboys are back in the hunt and are my top pick for the division.
  12. I think that is a tad too optimistic on the part of the Cowboys. Cause Zeke is an integral part of their machine and he seems to be not be playing quite a number of games this year. I'd rather say the Eagles are clear favourites in that group.
  13. I agree with the basic problem regarding Dak, but Dak is not the one holding out right now, because that is Zeke. So Zeke is the immediate problem for the Cowboys at the moment. Should they pay him or not? Many say a team shouldn't overpay for a RB but I'd say Zeke is more important to the Cowboys than Dak. So I'd rather pay Zeke to be honest. But I root for the Packers so I'm more than happy watching the Cowboys implode.
  14. There won't be any intentional tanking. Jerry Jones has said he hasn't got a lot of Scouting combines left and that goes for Super bowls too, so he's definetely in a "must win now" mode. And as for Tua, well you're not the only team who wants Tua and Cowboys won't end up dead last in the entire NFL this season.
  15. It's correct that it's generally not worth paying too much for a RB but in the case of the Cowboys and Zeke, I'd say they are a much lesser team without him. I don't think Dak and Amari will be able to create magic by themselves (i.e. a deep post season run). So they are in a tough spot and if Cowboys let him go, I'm sure some team will cough up serious money for him regardless.
  16. The defense is looking so good this year, so on some days I'm super optimistic. But then again, a first time HC and a new system, it should be a bunch of problems during this season. I'm dead certain we will lose the opener against the Bears. But one can dream, no?
  17. Training camp is upon us! How is your team doing? Are you excited? My team, the Packers, are doing fairly good. I'm a bit concerned that Mike Daniels was cut and I also worry about first rounder, Darnell Savage S, sitting on the sideline so far (wisdom teeth pulled out). But other than that, I'm looking forward to the Texans coming to town for som joint practices.
  18. You bet they're gonna screw this up. I mean, no way they're gonna create BG3 in 2019 (or whatever year they'll release it) and make the old guard happy at the same time.
  19. Sorry, but RPG Codex is the other way you know.
  20. 2? I counted 4... *edit* Or 6 even.
  21. According to Martin there isn't. He stated as much in an interview. So what we saw last night I think will differ extremely much from the books. If there ever will be any more books that is.
  22. Thanks for the analysis, gromnir. I kind of agree with your take. People might wonder why Packers didn't trade down (from #12 pick), cause they pondered that but didn't get any good offers. The reason for that I thnk is that the QB market was really weak and it worked against the Packers this time. Around the internet, I see a lot of people bashing the Rashan Gary pick but Mike Pettine is a good schemer so I hope he can get a lot of good out of Gary. I prefer to see it play out before beginning to whine about it. As for the draft in general, they had four big needs and they addressed all four of them with their first four picks. So at the end of the day, I'm very happy about how it all played out. As for the biggest surprise. Well, certainly Daniel Jones, but Giants seem to make an effort to make silly picks in the first round so in one sense it wasn't a surprise. DK Metcalf is still a big surprise for me though. I know his tape wasn't that good but he was getting massive amount of hype, even being a top 10 pick, and to fall to the last pick of the second round, that is a huge surprise. And rounding off my top three surprises is Jawaan Taylor. For sure there were reasons but I heard nothing about it prior to the draft so it still made a good surprise for me (nice of Jags to snag him in round 2 though, as he was projected by many to the Jaguars in round 1).
  23. Apparently so. I was supersurprised too though. And howabout DK Metcalf? Sheesh, what a drop!
