Mayby HUNTER class insead of Ranger ?
The word Ranger originated during the 14th century and meant gamekeeper. It was later used to designate a mounted man who polices an area. So yeah, a protector of nature, but for his nobship.

The funny things thread
I fail to see the humour in this one. I've watched it 7 times now. Maybe if I watch it an 8th time I might get it No, she... I mean it... isn't funny at all. (Watching again...)

Small suggestions. Easily implemented ideas, quickfire thoughts.
Soul Scholars -- a group of individuals who investigate the heritage of intact souls, seeking a legacy of their interactions and the prophesying the direction of their influence. They may have developed certain elaborate magical tools that aid them in their craft, and their efforts may be funded by wealthy patrons seeking to justify their potential noble stature by demonstrating a royal status in their past lives. The scholars also maintain elaborate histories to trace the heritage of families far back in time. Some swindlers will pose as Soul Scholars in order to profit from the trade. Indeed, true Soul Scholars may offer tempting rewards for those who expose such parasites to their trade.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
Why would they want to attract younger gamers? We older gamers have more disposable income and our money is just as good as anyone else. Are they expecting a sudden die off of over 35's? Should I be worried? Probably because attracting younger gamers means disposable income 10-20 years down the road. Hobbies die off because of a failure to attract younger members. (Remember tabletop wargaming?)

The End Game: don't forget about it
Perhaps they could borrow a concept from literature: insert an epilogue following the end of the main plot. An interactive scene that wraps up the story and brings closure, but doesn't necessarily require a big boss battle. An example is the medal award ceremony from Star Wars IV.

Lookout points -- places where a pop-up viewer appears allowing you to see a 360-degree first-person panorama of your surroundings. Mmm, okay... maybe not so easy to implement.

Yes. Turn-based makes more sense when you're controlling multiple characters or have complex magic systems.

That code language looks... way too primitive. How do you even control scope? Ah well.

Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter
I like what I've seen of this so far, and I really enjoyed Divine Divinity; Divinity II much less so. If they can recapture that original feel then it's a definite buy for me.
