  1. Hiravias was loads of fun to play. I took his acerbic remarks as a form of dry humor. He was almost like a pet ferret. Plus he could be devastating in combat.
  2. The Valian Pizza and Pasta Trading Company. But only if they supply unlimited garlic parmesan bread sticks with dipping sauce for free.
  3. Certainly, when it's well done. For immersion, the developers could always take the soul-reading route they had in PoE, but add in more free form social interaction.
  4. "Come on is that all you've got" "Put your back into!" "Not so great while blunt now are ya?" Because it is "loads of fun" to play with an annoying commentary? Annoying for you. Funny for others. Xan from BG for example. Okay. Well then hopefully an intelligent weapon that is fun for a large majority of the players, not just those who like goofy, immersion-breaking stuff. Get off your high horse Buuuu-dy. Guys who talk about "us the majority" are the bane of society. Who says YOU are the majority? The calender tear-away-of-the-day in your outhouse? Comic relief is appreciated amongst all categories of people. Have a coke and a smile and... You can finish that quote yourself XD Critical reading comprehension fail. Take -1 Int damage for 300 minutes. Next.
  5. It's a tropical archipelago. Either a bird or a lizard pet seems probable. Maybe even a komodo dragon? Hisss...

  7. I've enjoyed seeing the crowdfunding campaign blow my expectations out of the water. This will be fun to play.

  9. I haven't been able to sign in after multiple attempts either, including several password resets. I tried their service e-mail address, but they weren't able to help. Something is definitely effed up on their end. At this rate I may just wait until it's released. Nope, it was my browser (or one of my security add-ons). I temporarily switched to a different browser and I was able to sign in.

  11. Yes, I'm really enjoying Expanse. It must cost a fair amount to make though, what with all the special sets and computer graphics. The gravity on Eros is negligible. Why the heck were they having so much difficulty lugging those devices around?
  12. Tried to visit but it won't sign me in. Guess I'll wait.
  13. I'd guess it would depend on whether the ship provides different rest bonuses, which would require a selection interface. Personally I wouldn't mind if the dropped that entirely and gave us some other bonus, like increased per-rest abilities.
  14. Funny, but Mazzy was one of my favorite characters from BG2. She didn't feel that underdeveloped.
  15. A bonus to disengagement attacks with fast weapons would be a nice additional benefit. You have better control of your facing with a single-handed weapon and no shield, so you should be able to back out of combat more easily. Let that dagger-wielding rogue make hit and run attacks all over the battlefield.
  16. I'd like a sword that doesn't talk like a murderous psychopath. Perhaps even female. Something classy, like a countessa originally trained in the finer arts of sword play, with a deep background and some unique character flaws.
  17. It's a ship built for isometric gaming: a wide, open deck with plenty of walking space and few obstructions. The wood is worn and dull from exposure to the elements, but the ship is sturdy and gets you where you're going.
  18. Frankly, I've yet to play with an intelligent weapon that I really liked. For some reason they all seem to be made psychotic in nature, and hence quickly become unappealing to play with. Couldn't we have one that is cultured and refined, like a well aged wine?
  19. Cannons could fire chain-shot to take out the mast or rigging, bringing the opponent's ship to a halt so you could board.
