there were some issues reported by many reviewers that the card, while having a TDP of 150W could suck up to 230W in some cases, while others have found it to draw as low as 137W on full speed and OC. AMD says the 8GB model should be at 130W and they are looking into it but some theorize that the problem is only present in review cards that have a switch that makes them work as both a 4GB and a 8GB model at will. that, along with a driver bug on the driver version the reviewers used, could fool the system into thinking there are 2 cards and it tried to squeeze another 130W through the PCIe... or at least as many W as the slot could manage to let through. there was also a benchmark with crossfire in 15 games and in some games 2x480 marginally beat the 1080 while in most it was very close. the CF efficiency ranged from 50% to 93%

combine the heat of the previous days with a light rain today and you have 110% humidity. it's not so hot, but EVERYTHING is sticky as if it were covered in syrup.

I'm still struggling with the combat system of Last Remnant. Add to that the cheating of boss and mini boss enemies and i wonder where do i find the will to persevere. Last one i met has a skill that activates out of it's combat turn that gives it infinite attacks during the turn. Combine that with the fact that the chance the game will let you use the revive command is 1% for no reason at all and you have a completely invincible enemy

a few days ago i helped my father harvest his potatoes. the yield was low because the many rains hardened the soil and the potatoes could not grow big but still, 4 crates are better than nothing. meanwhile the first watermelons are starting to grow while the first melon should be ready to be eaten in a few days.

most of disney's films (animated or not) usually take a more lighthearted approach to a story compared to the original meanwhile my phone is giving me trouble. it randomly loses and regains connection with the SD card i put in it and i don't know if it's the card or the phone that doesn't work right

my father found a viper stuck in his chicken pen. it got in, ate a couple of the young chickens but then it was too fat to get out and too full to keep eating so it just sat there. needless to say my father killed it and he would do the same to any fox he would find in or around the place... he has no mercy for anything that hurts his chicken

a 31k vote survey showed that 72% of the people who plan to get a new card will be getting the 480 https://twitter.com/KMoamm/status/744701513621176324/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

i'm not very informed on Spain's situation but i don't think it's any better EU should either revert back to a trade union with completely independent countries or create a central economic policy to go along the euro (same salaries for the same job, same prices for the same products and same taxes for all countries that use euro). right now we have central regulations that are enforced on all countries, but these regulations are made by the wealthier countries for their own profit and are ruining the smaller countries instead of being for the benefit of all EU citizens. for example: in all EU, small islands have a 5-8% sales tax reduction compared to the mainland of the country to keep the prices in line with the rest because the transport of goods is expensive. however they forced Greece to remove that tax reduction on the islands and that will have a big impact on prices and tourism. and who benefits from it? Germany! because tourists will prefer the less expensive coast of Turkey that currently is full of german owned hotels.

tek you seem to have a good view of economics, what do you do for a living? most of what i know is second hand knowledge and educated guesses based on that knowledge. i have a small business... but considering the status of the economy right now i don't think i'll be able to keep it for long. i mean seriously, this year i broke even (profit-expenses=39euro left) and i had to pay over 2000 euro in taxes for that 39 euro of profit... and then they wonder why any business that can is leaving the country

i don't think it matters much because UK did the smart thing and never adopted euro as it's currency so there will be minimal impact to both the UK and the rest of EU... actually Germany may even profit from a brexit because there will certainly be a drop (however small) in the value of the euro that will boost exports.

my father was really pissed yesterday. it rained hard a few days ago and the field where he planted the trees that will grow to be firewood was flooded... the smaller trees literally drowned and their roots rotted. bigger trees survived and by watching their mud covered leaves we could tell that the water level in the field rose to at least 30cm above the ground (13-14 inches)

if instead of install you click on more and go to extra downloads, you can manually download the installer through galaxy instead of running the installer through the gog server and getting the "ready to use" game on your system without the installer itself. you can then import the installation folder of the game to galaxy to avoid filling the desktop with shortcuts i haven't tried the "white march" expansions of pillars yet, but my brother who did told me that they are much closer to BG2 than he ever thought possible... especially certain battles. i think i'm going to drop last remnant and restart pillars with the expansions

Oh yeah, did that a while back. In spite of its jankyness, I think I have enjoyed Jedi Knight the most out of all of these - nice and open level design, the courtyard around Imperial base and collapsing space ships being my personal highlights. I found Dark Forces next to unplayable, in spite of routinely playing original Doom. the dirst dark forces' problem is that the controls are all over the place. arrow keys to move forward and backward and turn right or left <> keys to strafe C to crouch X to jump space to activate things mouse moves you forward/backward and turns you left/right but it overrides the keys for movement making you crawl slowly page up and down for looking up and down the original did not allow the controls to be changed but the gog version has a file that allowes to configure the controls so i could put the classic WASD and remove movement from the mouse, keeping only camera tunring you know the funny thing is that while both dark forces games use the same engine, the first ran fine while the second needed me to download a 3dfx graphics card emulator because apparently my graphics card doesn't have enough memory for hardware 3D acceleration

WarCraft movie is getting slaughtered by critics

from what i saw, it was fine if you are someone who knows his warcraft lore but it failed to explain properly what's up to anyone who goes in blind -
the water is finally back and i had the chance to wash myself. one thing i learned from this is that my hair smell like vomit if left unwashed for more than 3 days. however my luck would not allow me to enjoy something without giving me some pain to go along with it, so when i was helping my father cut some logs, under one of them was a wasp nest and i got stung in the ear. good thing i'm not allergic and i have quite high natural resistance to all sorts of drugs and poisons so besides the initial pain there were no other effects like swelling

Can you continue the game after finishing the main story? I was under the impression that I should do the DLCs before the main story ends, because... it would end the game. they had stated since before release that you can keep playing after the end of the main story to complete whatever you left undone. they hinted that the ending you reached would make a difference in the way the world is when you go roam it after but i don't know if they implemented that

in my case i get top quality organic veal at a lower price than standard commercial veal because i buy the meat directly from the farmer. and how do i know it's organic? it's the perk of living in a rural area and being able to see the "soon to be food calf" grazing along it's cow mom in a field. this farmer has only a few cows and so when he has a calf to butcher he calls the people he knows and gathers orders for what part of it everyone wants and how many pieces and then cuts it up and delivers it. he makes more than selling the calf to the "professionals" and we can get good meat at almost half the price we would buy it in a shop.
