yes, but behind the scenes that show the brave frontier explorers and defenders of the peace, the federation is a totalitarian state. there is evidence of it scattered throughout the various series and films

you should try the slingshot if you haven't. i've seen many funny compilations of people passing out on it

i was reading an article about bullying earlier and i was thinking that the 11th commandment is the way to go in most cases. Don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you... and if you do something bad to someone, you should be punished by having the same thing done to you.

7nm is not impossible but highly improbable so close to the 14nm debut. however the future, according to earlier roadmaps, is more into the effort to make 90+% crossfire efficiency the norm by making the hardware more autonomous on the use of CF, thus removing the "game to game" results based on how much effort the developer put into CF

the official definition of a pound is 1lbs = 0.465kg. it used to be something about grains of wheat but when metric rolled in they just used the unit relation to make it simpler. i spend most of yesterday and today trying to find out what i'm doing wrong with a password... no luck and it is a type of password that has no "reset" or "recover" option. when i make passwords i use phrases and write them in L33T so as long as i remember the phrase, i can just recreate the password without having to remember it character for character. apparently though, when i made this one i made a spelling mistake somewhere and in a 20 character password its pretty hard to find which of the characters is wrong

got me a XFX RX470 4GB. i have to wait for a digital to analog signal converter to arrive though before i can connect it to my screen. EDIT this is driving me mad. the converter was supposed to arrive wednesday and its still not here. why is it that every time i want to upgrade my pc things can't go smoothly? when i upgraded my CPU 2 years ago, the PSU died the next day and the screen a few days later this time when i ordered the 470 it came 1 week later than what they told me and the converter looks like it will be another week late and i'm sure there will be more problems before i can use it

there was a piece from the late 90's or early 2000's that i can't remember the title of. it was music only so i don't have vocals to give me some search clue. the only clue i have is that the video for it was a montage of scenery seen from the window of a moving train. it's not star guitar though, which is the only result i get from google

i went to a wedding yesterday. like every other social event it was a boring chore, same as i felt about the funeral i went to a few months ago. if i were to rate the range of human emotion in a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being hate/sadness, 5 indifference and 10 love/joy, i'd say i'm constantly at 5 with rare moments of 4 or 6 when something convenient or inconvenient happens. so i can't really comprehend the emotional state that makes these events important

at least the last one realized what he was saying.

i witnessed a quite serious car crash earlier. i was driving on the highway (2 lanes in each direction with a 1m concrete wall separating the 2 directions) when someone on the other side fell asleep on the wheel. in that particular place the other side had a concrete wall on the right side of the road as well to prevent debris falling from the mountainside. he hit the right wall, bounced off, hit head on the concrete wall in the middle, made a 180, hit the middle wall again with the back of the car and them rolled and came to a stop with the front of the car (or what was left of it) on the right wall. luckily enough, the passengers got out with a few cuts and bruises and there wasn't any traffic to make the situation worse. i thought they would get more hurt since when they hit the middle wall the first time, the impact was so strong that the back wheels of the car jumped high enough to be seen over the wall.

it would not be illegal even if i were to buy it from a country outside EU. the difference is that if i buy from an EU country i don't have to pay any import tax. hell, if there were no import taxes for it i would buy directly from USA... 255$<255€

this is absurd the cheapest price for the red devil 480 8GB in greece is 371 euro when in italy it costs 255.

there was a massacre in a wedding in Turkey and the first thing that came to mind was "were they playing the rains of kashamere?". sometimes i think that if i was not good under the black humor exterior, i would be the joker.

it must have been quite a fall for the dog to get so hurt. dogs are known for the toughness of their bones.
