one complaint about the reviews that i've seen raised is that the testing methodology is all about absolute numerical values and make no effort to consider a realistic application of the hardware. the test method is not representative of the use people will have for a $2000+ PC like those used in the tests. content creation benchmarks aside, if someone made a pc like that for gaming, he would certainly not use it with a 1080p screen but with a 1440p (possibly even dual) or 4k. while the reason the testing is done like that is valid for the purpose of testing the raw numbers, it disregards the practical side of things

most of the time it seems to be a motherboard issue though

one thing most have in common is that results from these early versions are a bit luck based. one may get a very smooth testing experience, another may have to jump through some hoops to get the job done

i bought some brazilian nuts to see what they taste like... they have the texture of hazelnuts (which i like) but the taste is very bitter so now they are in the trash. i'm still trying to wash the taste off my mouth

it is a fact however that somalian immigrants are leaving sweden and going back home because they don't feel safe anymore because there are too many muslims and it is also a fact that sweden has become the slave trade capital of europe since there are entire city districts (inhabited exclusively by muslim immigrants) that the police cannot control due to lack of training, personnel, equipment and most importantly permission from the government who considers enforcing the laws on immigrants who don't wish to obey them a racist practice. just some snippets from an article of the australian daily telegraph.

I've been extremely satisfied with my now ancient Core2Duo, it would play pretty much any game up until recently and has been 100% reliable for ten years. Could not have asked for more and it will get the electronic equivalent of burial with full honours (and repeated F pressing) when replaced. I've been less happy with Intel over that time though, they've mostly coasted on their advantage and a situation with no AMD competition would mean Skylake-> Kabylake type transitions where the improvements are... limited would be further encouraged. To be honest though, their products looked significantly overpriced/ under featured even before the Ryzen leaks, and now they don't (from the leaks at least) look competitive against the AMD offerings in terms of what I want- future proofing, with things like current game performance decidedly secondary. Ideally, I want a CPU that will last for another ten years, and I simply cannot see an Intel chip doing that as well as Ryzen at this point. It's basically the same situation with nVidia, was happy with their cards but not happy with their attitude, and bought AMD (and will again) since they'd support and improve them longer. if you look back you can see that most of the time it was AMD that made the most innovations but intel and nvidia were the more famous brand names so amd never managed to get the market share it deserved, resulting in poor products... until the console deal got them the money they needed to get back in the game with the RX470/480 and now Ryzen

many years ago, when i was still a student, i was reading a comic set in a semi dystopian future (everything looks shiny on the surface but it's rotten under it). most volumes were self contained stories (with the occasional story spanning 2 or 3 at times) and in one of them there was a corporation that made medicines targeted specifically to pregnant women. without anyone knowing however, the medicines contained substances designed to alter the DNA of the babies in a way that made them allergic to any product that was not specially made to account for these alterations with the goal to create a monopoly for their affiliates by making everyone else look like a poisoner of kids. now im mentioning this because (to hear my mother say it) i have always been like these kids... at least when it comes to my skin. when i was a baby, i would get a rash if they put anything but a particular brand of diapers on me. since the time i was in university i started having zits in my hair if i used any shampoo except one and later i developed a skin disease in my armpits that persisted for years despite all treatments, until recently when i found (by chance) the one soap that does not irritate the skin in the area and it's finally getting better even with no treatment.
