I would probably guess first part will conclude chapter one, so to speak, for the expansion and second part will provide chapter two, so to speak, for the expansion. Meaning that you probably will reach your objective at least partially in first part and then there happens something that gives you new objective that makes you to move new areas or go to back old areas in part 2.

I thought they said 6 months is a long time to wait and that's why they divided it in two parts. They said that expansions that we remember from IE games take 6 months to make and that is long time which why the decided to divide it in two parts so that people get to play it sooner. Although they didn't say when they started to work on it and is that 6 months just production time or do it also include preproduction and post production. And they also didn't actually specified was that 6 months also time they have scheduled for this expansion pack.

I would say Total-War-hammer: It is full Total War scale waring with Warhammer units, it is interesting until it's revealed to be buggy mess that miss most of shown features Xcom 2: I like their first Xcom game and with this they promise to fix many of the things that I found that could had been done better Blood Bowl 2: I liked their first game and with this the promise to fix UI issues and other issues that I had with their previous tittles, but maybe I wait buying it until they release version that has all the teams. Consoles didn't show any games that would make want to buy even one of the "new" machines. Virtual reality gaming don't feel that exiting when you can't experience it yourself. If they bring virtual Warhammer for Hololens I am in. Most commonly used definition for that I have seen used is that hate crime is crime that is targeted against some specific group of people because they belong that specific group of people. For terrorism definition that is most often see to be used is any violent act against people or property that is meant to instill fear on population or government to advance political, religious, or ideological objectives. So crime can be both hate crime and act of terrorism at same time. And one don't necessary need organized group behind them to do act of terrorism, only ideology, religion or political goal that they want to further. Also hate crimes can be committed by organized groups or even governments, because it is just why victims of said crimes are chosen. Of course any term that are used is just semantics at the end, but end of day it is probably good to try use same terms to describe similar acts to make sure that there aren't group/s of people that feel that crimes against them is somehow seen lesser than crime against some other group/s of people.

I'm just saying that the premise of a construct and bald monk are just so ... unoriginal these days. Name just one RPG release in the last 5 years that didn't have a gimmicky robot/construct/droid/mechanical sidekick and I can name you at least 5 that had for every single one you mention. And only very few of them so far had been interesting. One of many is about the only one that was well done ... if you actually consider him a construct. For "real" robots, I can only remember one that was interesting. The Geth companion in ME. If you look premises of other characters in PoE you see that they are mostly quite unoriginal also these days. Roughish white male fighter Elf wizard White male priest that curses lot White female psyker copy that has had difficult life Big orcish looking scholar Female ranger from tribal culture Character from despised minority that has beaten odds and got good position in society Shapeshifter from tribal culture that is surprisingly wise These all are archetypes that you can find from all over contemporary fantasy. But with every single one of them Obsidian was able to do something interesting that makes them at least somewhat memorable.

What I understood from Josh explanation level scaling is not so much scaling than level boost. So if your character is certain level or above then game will ask you if you want enemies in expansion pack maps to be scaled and if you answer yes then every enemy on those maps gets certain amount of additional levels added to their existing ones and after that there is no more level adjusting done to them. So this for example number additional levels that enemies get could be 5, which would mean that level one enemies become level six, level 5 enemies become level 10 and level 12 enemies become level 17 and level 14 enemies become level 19. Meaning that low level enemies will still be low level enemies compared to your character, but they will posses bit larger threat when they come as pack and high level enemies will actually be on higher level than your character even if you have maxed your level. So in other words enemies will have minimum and maximum levels, but they don't actually never be anything from between those. Of course I may have misunderstood what Josh meant when he described the system in twitch's E3 coverage interview.

About Devil of Caroc being construct. Soul constructs aren't anything new in setting of PoE, as we know they seem to be quite main fighting force for Engwithans and Knights of Crucible are (possibly were) also starting to produce their own versions. So existence of higher functioning soul construct isn't anything that surprising in setting like this. Identifying it as female is something that probably need some explanation, but I would guess it would go something like this, its creator put strong soul from female individual in it, which lead to construct being able to remember souls past life and now it identifies as that person, or maybe it is case of Pinocchio, its creator wanted female companion and created artificial one, which eventually lead to point where constructs started identify itself as REAL™ woman. Or maybe it is bit both, its creator wanted to preserve somebody, which is why they made construct body that resembles that person and then they put their soul in that construct body, which lead to point where construct started to identify itself as that preserved person. And there is probably some plot twist that construct suffers from identity crisis or personality that come up was not one that it creator was after or something like that. But anyway it is character that is somewhat easy to fit in the game's faith and soul theme, because you get to play around concepts like do artificial person have faith, what is such persons reaction towards information that gods are also artificial, how they thing about cycle of souls etc.. Zahua is much less interesting as he seems to be quite typical human companion, which we already have several in the game, which of course don't mean that he can't be interesting, because he probably will be, but I would liked to see them exploring races and cultures that we haven't seen yet.

Should we count expansion to be demanded additional content for Stronghold

No, it isn't even average on music game standards, which are quite low. EDIT: Although some reviewers praised it quite much, so it probably has some good qualities IDK.

So yeah, I think it's safe to assume that we can continue playing with our current characters. Although current companions probably will not show their faces as their story arcs are finished in ending slides. Which is why I hope to see at least five new companions in expansion. Just because their story can be finished in the main game doesn't mean they can't appear in the expansion. They did say the expansion will be similar to Baldur's Gate TotSC. All hints in trailer point out that expansion will be set after main campaign, as Caed Nua is restored and stories of it has been reached quite remote place. They also claim that expansion has more writing than original game, so it gives more feeling of Mask of Betrayer or Throne of Bhaal type expansion.

I think it is unwise to disclose that information, the fact they are funding kickstarter at E3. They might as well fund the game without the KS. But to them that is risky. Therefore, They promote the KS to test the gauge of their fans. The last game cost a fortune to make and didn't sell very well with its reflective budget. But it is very dishonest not to disclose such information, because KS isn't preordering things like some still believe. So if it is true that Sony finances most of the development of the game it means that, if Sony for some reason like for example by bad financial situation feels that they need to stop funding the game (thing that happens constantly in the industry), it would mean that Ys Net will not have means to finish the game and KS backers are screwed because it isn't Sony that runs KS campaign but Ys Net, which means that if you want to ask your money back you need to ask it from Ys Net which probably in that point will not have any money to give back. And if there is problems with rewards or any other KS related things it is Ys Net that is responsible about them not Sony, like for example offering updates/additional content for PC version, even though game is actually Sony's property. So in my opinion they should disclose such information because it has very real impact and causes risks for those who fund game through KS.

Rights to those are owned by Sega and I really doubt that they will do something like that, because they are Sega

Eh, the marketing is like HR, shooty shooty but the game isn't that bad. Probably will come down to pushing some button to blow up something or not. I read one interview from its developers who said that this time they want to address some issues that people found annoying in HR, like for example that you had to kill bosses and you could not sneak on bosses. So I am bit hopeful, but after Thief I don't really trust anything that Eidos Montreal says.

I am curios why did you think so as it was first announced in Sony's 2014 E3 conference and it was said that it will come to PS4 which is only platform today which it is announced for, although they have said that it will be Sony's console exclusive and timed exclusive, which is why people think that it is also coming on PC in some point of time.

I would guess that biggest problem has been that Fumito Ueda (game's director and designer) ending his full time employment with Sony and Team ICO, although his contract with Sony seem to demand that he will finish Last Guardian, before he can fully stop working for them. I would put game in category that it is actually coming when its actually released, because it can easily suffer similar fate as Silent Hill, although Sony seems to be more keen to release game even if it isn't actually in such condition that it should be released.

I would guess that they can meet goal in next couple hours if people that crashed KS during show comeback, but of course it could be that they weren't actually interested to back the game but were just curious.
