  1. I'm pretty much from the opposite standpoint here, I don't like it when the player create and control the whole party. I just want to deal with "me", and then let the other characters in the party be really fleshed out by the game designers. So yeah, I very much prefer the Planescape: Torment way over the Icewind Dale way
  2. I don't really want to do a lot of food micromanagement (or inventory micromanagement or much micromanagement at all), for me it's very dull.
  3. I'm hoping for the latter too, I want to be able to rotate and zoom the camera as I please and not have it fixed at one viewpoint all the time.
  4. Yeah, this is exactly why I dislike online activations so much. Sure, Steam is all nice now, but who knows what happens in the next 20 years?
  5. I really hope it will be 3D so we can move and zoom the camera as we please. That's good
  6. What if they run out of Kickstarter money before it's finished?
  7. I really like it when there are large meaty epilogues in a game. It's always nice to see what happens to the people you gotten to know after you saved the kingdom/world/whatever. So I hope there's a very nice epilogue in this game too
  8. Bioware would be a horrible idea. I do like the idea of George Ziets being onboard though, being an ex-Obsidian guy.
  9. This is very important, I love to be able to finish quests in non-violent ways, like using speech and whatnot.
  10. Not at all, people want it on GOG because 100% of their games are DRM free. It's a big focus of their marketing, and if Eternity appear there you can be 100% sure it's DRM free too. Not really. Any new game released on Steam require the Steam client to run. Bethesda Softworks made a mistake about that with Skyrim, only making the SkyrimLauncher.exe require the Steam client and not Skyrim.exe itself, but it was quickly fixed with a patch. Also, the Recettear FAQ state the following.
  11. I'm not sure this would be a good idea. Tacked on multiplayer rarely works well, and I rather see the money being spent on improving the single player experience further. I did have fun playing BG1 multiplayer with a friend though.
  12. Not really. Most CRPGs from the 90s, like Eye of the Beholder, Might & Magic and so on, "only" allowed for 4 member parties. Which I also think is a much more reasonable number. Also, I hope the companions in this game will have a brain and will be able to equip their own armor and stuff and don't need to tell them to wear socks every morning. I hate all that inventory micro management. I take care of my business and they take care of theirs.
  13. I support this. Chris Lightfellow is my favorite female protagonist from a video game, and she looks and behave like you would expect from a female knight.
  14. I would be very happy if an Alpha Protocol 2 was made. The first game is easily the game from 2010 I've played and replayed the most.
  15. A GOG release would be lovely
