Glad to see the Doyers lose. Loved every minute of it. But not so glad to see Nolan retire. It was a battle in that front office and I don't blame him for leaving. JD already has enemies at Oakland for pretty much stealing their Scouting Director, Grady Fuson, away from them. Both JD and John Hart never gave Fuson the credit for bringing all that talent to the farm. He practically laid the foundation for their recent success. Heh, it's funny that Wash is the last member of the group that came from Oakland. I won't be surprised to see Mike Maddux leave too.

It's a shame too. I have all the respect in the world for the Cardinals but their fanbase is insufferable... well, the fans I've encountered anyway. If the team is not up against the Rangers or Rockies, I'm rooting for the underdog. Which makes the NLCS is so awful for me; a team with a 9 figure payroll going up against the Los Angeles Doyers. A lose-lose situation, if I ever saw one. But I'm keeping the faith as moneyball can still happen tonight.

Indeed, the Rays are the equivalent to the Cardinals - good coaching staffs, excellent farm systems and player development. The difference being the cardinals have money to spend, Tampa doesn't. Same case could be made with Oakland too, but they don't really develop players as swiftly as the Cards and Rays do.

Darvish is so wild. I don't understand why he insists on believing he's a breaking ball pitcher when he should be working off his fastball. If only he could control the rate at which he walks people and his pitch count, I'd have no problem putting him in a class I reserve only to Felix, Harvey, and Kershaw.

I know. I check the GTN as much as I can and I even managed to buy 2 extra character slots. My main reason for wanting to subscribe is the capped XP for FTP/"preferred" players. It's starting to become a grind. And I read you'll get the expansion pack for free if you subscribe, so there's that too.

Fixed the problem I had with this game. I upped my Sage to 29 and I think I might give this subbing thing a go for while. Getting tired of being denied the ability to use artifacts.

I understand the frustrations of Cleveland fans with the Richardson trade but I think this could end up as a good trade in favor of the Browns. How this trade pans out depends on the success of the person they draft next year and with the QBs possibly going in 2014's draft, they have good chance in finding "that" QB. And besides - good RBs are a dime-a-dozon. Mike Shanahan proved this during his long tenure as Denver's head coach. Having a talented running back is not the deciding factor in a solid running game. What one really needs is a good O-line that creates those lanes and wide-receivers/tight-ends willing to block those in the secondary. Especially with blocking WRs, those guys are rare.

I may think combat in Gothic 3 is utter **** but the soundtrack is really good. At times, it makes fighting orcs exciting.

Both teams played poorly, the Giants were the worse of the two though. Poor play from their RBs didn't help and I had no idea they were this severely depleted, so there's that to consider. Cowboys should have blown that game wide open - six turnovers and the Giants still had a chance to win.

I'll do that and thanks for the link. Heh. So all the Gothic games needed a community patch -- no Gothic 4, I doubt the community bothered to work on a patch for you. PB sure did learn with the Risen series, that's for sure. Stable right out of the box.

Gothic 3. I figured I'd give it a shot, since it was just lying there in my library. Similar lol combat as found in Risen 2 - he who doth stun lock first, shall prevail. Good lord. It has good scenery though and it is best in the series, I think. And it feels more like a TES game, if I had to describe it with anything.

Cowboy fan, huh? Well I feel obliged to say -- Welcome to Jerry World! Over the years I've leaned towards Baseball, honestly. I don't know if I'll even watch the game... maybe I'll just catch the highlights tonight. But for the sake of keeping on topic -- if I had to pull for a team, it'd be the Texans. No way in hell I'm putting up with Jerry's nonsense for another season. I like Kubiak and what he's doing with that team.

Since I can't post on their forums about my problem, I'd figure I post it here. Areas in Nar Shaddaa will not load. Every time I leave my ship the following happens - I enter the Nar Shaddaa hanger, I take the elevator down to the spaceport, walk around the lower level of the spaceport and.... die. I'm met with people floating in midair. This area will not load. I've tried clean boots, updated my drivers, and even downloaded the game again. Same result. Has anyone ever had this problem?
