So I watched the game again today and well... Billy can coach. Kerr tried to mask Steph on defense but every single person he defended attacked him. He clearly tried to communicate with his teammates to switch but sometimes the help just didn't come fast enough. So far, Kerr has had no answer for this adjustment. He had better figure out that and the lineup with Surge at the five spot out real quick, though. You got one more game, coach of the year.

Yep. I predicted OKC in 7 and they are not losing 3 in a row. So they might be able to do it in 6. Steph looked off from the get go coming into this series and OKC is getting back to playing some defense like they used to when they first made it to the finals.

Yeah... watching this game so far all I can say is... Billy Donavan can coach. Edit: Though, when you have Durant and Bestbrook on your team, it does get a whole lot easier.

Next, **** Bautista for going after Odor who had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT AT ALL. You're pissed off at Matt Bush, right? Charge the mound and settle it right there. No problems with Odor at all. I would have done the very same in that situation. And the league is probably going to suspend Odor for it too. Bravo. Heh. I would put far too many resources into finding out who told Matt Bush to throw at Bautista or if he did it himself. Either way, I'm throwing the hammer down on Bush. He threw the pitch and instigated it all. But this coward league is not going to do anything to Bush. As Manfred said, leave it to the players.

I'm not the biggest fan of Ortiz but his outrage was justified. That so called strike three was ludicrous. That was a ball, Kulpa. And I can't believe none of the other umps challenged that guy. I always like teams willing to take risks on guys who have been injured but are easily top ten talents if they weren't. That's Jaylon. Cowboys did the same with Bruce Smith, Jaylon is the better prospect, and it didn't pan out for them. But for a short stretch, Bruce was above average. If he gets back to form, that linebacker core received an upgrade in a BIG way. Edit: Oh and the best part? No off the field issues! Keep guys like that coming, Jerry.

Even with both your starting DEs suspended the first 4 games? I'm going to be stunned if that's not a DE. Only if Buckner is available. I don't want a bandage to cover the first four games. I want talent + upside at the number 4 pick and I don't see that in Bosa. Pretty much.

I need the Cowboys to lock Jerruh in a closet and take Ramsey. I know my boy Romo is on a short time table here and DE is a need position now. I'm just not sure Bosa is a guy Rob would favor. He has always leaned toward pass rushers who tend to be "quick twitch" rushers. And four of the six backs they have will be free agents next year. Plus I like the versatility Ramsey brings and I know Rob likes those type of players. He could be a better fit with Seattle and their press style defense they run, though. But yeah - Stephen, make it happen... lock Jerry in the closet again and make the pick.
