  1. Slightly different take on things, AP source
  2. those are old. Earlier when I said I did 2 interviews awhile back, this is one of them.
  3. NOT TRUE It does NOT mean more devolpment time of any real value. If at all. Remeber 2 things: 1. The move up of the release date did NOT effect the date BOTH versions had to be turned in. 2. The PC version WAS/IS on track to be finished on time and released in Dec (the same date as the X-box version). The delay was NOT for more time to work on it. Unless LA decides it wants to pay Obsidian to work further on the PC version, and thats long odds considering how little they seem to care about that version, you will see ZERO improvements due to the delay. BTW, I am willing to bet that LA doesn't do anything like Yavin this time around. It will be much smaller in scale, if anything of any interest at all.
  4. I thought you guys might be interested: As you prolly know, Rex Grossman is hurt and Jonathan Quinn is starting for the Bears (and has played very poorly the last two games). Now the Bears will be splitting practice time between Quinn and Craig Krenzel. So we might be seeing if Krenzel has what it takes soon enough.
  5. I did 2 interviews for Winterwind forums with Obsidian about TSL awhile back. These things take time. Yes, it took weeks.
  6. I'm a sucker for alot of Nintendos first party games: Zelda, Metroid, Mario....etc That and it had Ikagura
  7. I'm not sure about casing (the look of the saber). Last I heard, they didn't think they would have time for it.
  8. I would say that "the suit" is just another survivor (maybe form the tail section), but he was just to damn clean.
  9. No, offically they don't get a say. However, lots of people (like myself) feel that as the only superpower left, that we have to take into account more than just ourselves and our immediate neighbors. With in reason, of course. To clearify my above point: but our choices can greatly effect others who don't have a say in the matter. While their choices often don't have near the effect on us. To nitpick: Also, if last year made anything clear it is this: "we" (as in the people) don't always directly decide our future, in terms of presidents. Popular vote and who gets elected obviously don't always go hand in hand. Not arguing the pros ans cons of the electoral college, but that is the case.
  10. but you called it a "right" to do so. Just because it may be in our best interest, doesn't mean we have the right. It may be in my best interest to rob you, but I don't have the right to.
  11. uh....we are? I have to say I disagree. At least, how you put it.
  12. We're not even talking the same sport, I imagine. anyways, because we all do soooo welll last week..... Chargers over Falcons Bills over Dolphins (I was THIS close to picking the Dolphins, just couldn't do it) Redskins over Bears (and I'm going to the game...) Browns over Bengals Lions over Packers Jags over Cheifs Seahawks over Pats (My upset pick) Jets over 49ers Eagles over Panthers Titans over Texans Broncos over Raiders Steelers over Cowboys Vikings over Saints Rams over Bucs I would say that the Jets over the 49ers is this weeks lock
  13. Hey Craft: Every moment is one chance *in* a lifetime?
  14. If Kerry loses, I expect J. McCain Vs. H. Clinton next year
  15. Magic eh? I'm not sure JJ would go the Alias "magical/mystical/yet tech laced" route again. That "rambaldie" (sp?) stuff from Alias kinda died on him. remember, there is some large power source and lots of assorted game. Almost sounds like someone brought a whole bunch of animals together for sport hunting or a preserve. or Noah's Arc type ****. Sky Captain like, maybe. Damn it. Just to early to tell.
  16. Just saw this: U.K. Paper Urges Letters to Ohio Voters
  17. what everyone missed the new episode? Tell me the man in the suit didn't mess with your head hope the show isn't showing it's cards to early
  18. I'm voting Kerry for the simple fact (lots of reasons, but this is the biggy) that whoever wins will most likely get to nominate Supreme Court Justices. The thought of the man who made "Jesus Day" an offical holiday in Texas selecting judges for the Supreme Court scares the **** out of me. Regardless, I'm in Illinois, the state is going to Kerry.
  19. Now, iirc, the saber doesn't get "lost". It was taken away by the Jedis when the PC was banished. So it's not "lost" like: "Like OMG, where did my saber go". Meaning misplaced. but "lost" like: "Like OMG, I lost a limb fighting Darth Vader". Meaning it's no longer "your" saber. But! What we don't know is what happened to it after that. So at the time of the game it could be lost to you as well as lost in general.
  20. You know we've had like 8 of these threads. That doesn't scare me. The fact that they always seem to be some of the biggest threads scares me.
  21. I hate the Packers, but I really respect Farve as a player. You hate to see him playing like this these last two years. You would like to see someone like him to go out like Elway, but it looks like he'll have to leave GreenBay for that to happen. I mean, he still has the arm strength, but he is just making dumb dumb choices and is off the mark alot.
  22. Basically it suffered the same thing all console RPGs do. I liked it alot, but it had plenty of things that could have been better. Number one for me too 2. It was too linear. It did a good job of hiding it tho. 3. The ending sucked. Very anti-climatic. I like a FO type ending that informs you of what happened. 4. It got too easy, combat wise, later in the game. 5. The combat got pretty tedious at times too. It felt like you practically didn't need to be there. Just que and forget about it for a couple of seconds. I'm not to found of the combat compared to other RPGs. It lacks the constant action of RT and the "thinking mans combat" of TB. It took on too many of the bad points of the respect combat choices, but too few of the positives. 6. Too short. I beat it, doing most of the things I could do, in 34 hours. But that is to be expected in a console rpg. 7. The interface didn't take advantadge of the mouse and the orginization of equipment BLEW. 8. Too few character models. You saw the same baddies over and over. 9. Less than dark Darkside path.
  23. I wouldn't know.....
  24. Vol Coughlin whens the wedding?
