  1. Well, while you arn't Revan again (we think), it does continue the story line (or finish) of many main peeps from K1
  2. I think we're missing something (mainly because we havn't been given it quite yet)
  3. assuming the game is decent, if the play time is equal or greater too K1, it's a true sequel.
  4. I want to see Houston win. Roger vs. the RedSoxx
  5. Thats been done a few times before, so I'm not sold that they would do it again. Maybe too a degree, maybe one side (Lock: dark/light) uses that, or it is just one of many tricks the "sides" have, but I can't imagine they would uses it as thier driving force. Also, things like the polar bear were as real as the boars. The Boars were as real as the trees. All of them can die/be killed. Where as Jack couldn't even catch his dad and people besides Lock have a hard time seeing this giant monster that doesn't eat people, just kills em. I just don't think that theory explains the polar bear away.
  6. Well, it couldn't have been animated, here is why: he saw his father on the beach in the water. I then disappeared in front of his eyes. It didn't run in the bushes, it just vanished. I guess it could be animated and granted super powers, but.... You do have to wonder about the significance of the empty coffin, but I think that results in one of two things: 1. They just drop it and never address it 2. His father appears anytime he needs a guide Basically it turned everyones fears into reality. hmmmmm..... But the first time it appeared it didn't go after anyone, it just came kinda close to the beach. It appeared when they were sitting and talking. Then when people were afraid, it just let. It then appeared right after it started to rain, no one seemed scared or really agitated before it came, but it didn't attack when they got scared. The third time it chewed and spit out the pilot, who didn't seem scared for himself so much as worried about the situation. Then it chased the 3 there, they were scared, but someone had just been sliced in front of them. Then of course it left Lock be. So if it does go off emotions, there doesn't seem to be a clear logic to it. Your right, I think. He said he looked into the island and it was bbbb-u-ti-ful. Interesting points and bits of information: -Lock seemed to have seen something, so the monster isn't invisible. If indeed it is a monster. -I think Locks first comment about two sides that are dark/light sums up whats going on. -Let's not forget the polar bear in the middle of the Pacific! -Lock appeared to want nothing more than to walk and to be able to test himself. He now can do both on the island. Maybe it was his fall that let him walk, maybe not. -There is a large power source on the island that appears to be powering a message that says "Please someone come. The others are dead. It killed them all" that has been playing for 16 years. - The monster did NOT eat the pilot. It just killed him. Almost a la Predator. - Docs dad/island led him to water, saving the people. -There WERE bodies. So I don't think that it is likely that they are in limbo or already dead or something. Here is a post I saw on possible ideas and where they have been done before:
  7. In hindsight, Eru might have nailed the man-in-suit theory. Is this Island the opposite of "The Sphere"? ....but then why the man eating monster? Why didn't it kill Lock? Why did he seem to like it? Why is he like freaking "Yoda", but there seems to be nothing special about him. Remember when Lock said in the first episode "there are 2 sides, one light, one dark.." I think that sums up whats going on. The people are just caught in between.
  8. When they show mauls face as he is being sliced in half, blood DOES splatter up from the bottom of the screen. It's quick, but it's there. So much for the lightsaber sealing the wound
  9. I say he has the first half to show something or he is out
  10. Me too. While blood doesn't nessasarily equal maturity, in this case I think it points that way. BTW, I went to the ESRB site hoping for insight, this is the little I found: K1 was rated T for just violence <_< As for arms being cut off, I noticed they didn't put this: sooooo, nothing really
  11. those are old. Earlier when I said I did 2 interviews awhile back, this is one of them.
  12. NOT TRUE It does NOT mean more devolpment time of any real value. If at all. Remeber 2 things: 1. The move up of the release date did NOT effect the date BOTH versions had to be turned in. 2. The PC version WAS/IS on track to be finished on time and released in Dec (the same date as the X-box version). The delay was NOT for more time to work on it. Unless LA decides it wants to pay Obsidian to work further on the PC version, and thats long odds considering how little they seem to care about that version, you will see ZERO improvements due to the delay. BTW, I am willing to bet that LA doesn't do anything like Yavin this time around. It will be much smaller in scale, if anything of any interest at all.
  13. I thought you guys might be interested: As you prolly know, Rex Grossman is hurt and Jonathan Quinn is starting for the Bears (and has played very poorly the last two games). Now the Bears will be splitting practice time between Quinn and Craig Krenzel. So we might be seeing if Krenzel has what it takes soon enough.
  14. I did 2 interviews for Winterwind forums with Obsidian about TSL awhile back. These things take time. Yes, it took weeks.
  15. I'm a sucker for alot of Nintendos first party games: Zelda, Metroid, Mario....etc That and it had Ikagura
  16. I'm not sure about casing (the look of the saber). Last I heard, they didn't think they would have time for it.
  17. I would say that "the suit" is just another survivor (maybe form the tail section), but he was just to damn clean.
  18. No, offically they don't get a say. However, lots of people (like myself) feel that as the only superpower left, that we have to take into account more than just ourselves and our immediate neighbors. With in reason, of course. To clearify my above point: but our choices can greatly effect others who don't have a say in the matter. While their choices often don't have near the effect on us. To nitpick: Also, if last year made anything clear it is this: "we" (as in the people) don't always directly decide our future, in terms of presidents. Popular vote and who gets elected obviously don't always go hand in hand. Not arguing the pros ans cons of the electoral college, but that is the case.
  19. but you called it a "right" to do so. Just because it may be in our best interest, doesn't mean we have the right. It may be in my best interest to rob you, but I don't have the right to.
  20. uh....we are? I have to say I disagree. At least, how you put it.
  21. We're not even talking the same sport, I imagine. anyways, because we all do soooo welll last week..... Chargers over Falcons Bills over Dolphins (I was THIS close to picking the Dolphins, just couldn't do it) Redskins over Bears (and I'm going to the game...) Browns over Bengals Lions over Packers Jags over Cheifs Seahawks over Pats (My upset pick) Jets over 49ers Eagles over Panthers Titans over Texans Broncos over Raiders Steelers over Cowboys Vikings over Saints Rams over Bucs I would say that the Jets over the 49ers is this weeks lock
  22. Hey Craft: Every moment is one chance *in* a lifetime?
