I just played that section, but didn't see it again. Either it's not there, or I'm just not looking in the right spot. At least there are more distinct weapons than in the original game. I'll have to disagree about the rocket launcher though. It'll one shot most non mini-boss/boss enemies and it doesn't require line of sight to use which is really helpful.
-
I didn't see it myself, but I have heard that other people did see that. I'll have to keep an eye out for it this time. Do you have a shot of where it was?
-
Really? I didn't do his mission the first time around. Is it any good? I ended up sticking with the rocket launcher for most of the game.

I probably should have said pre-order rather than DLC. At the moment it looks like 3 extra weapons. A sniper rifle, the CE AR and Gamestop heavy weapon. I think that's it.
-
Baseline is 2 of everything. 5 heavy weapons. 1 bonus AR, shotgun, or sniper rifle. 1 bonus AR that apparently only appears on hardcore or higher from what I've heard. DLC weapons.

Depends on the enemy. I think I honestly ended up using it on the little guys more often than the big tough boss monsters. Once the little guys are down, it's easy enough to keep the big guy distracted. The only enemy that I regularly used the heavy weapons on were those damned bastards. The one enemy in that game that switching weapons for is absolutely worth it to clear out those defences. I died to the one on at least half a dozen times before I managed to take it down and I did that at the last second just before it would have killed me again. I think the toughest fight in the game so far has actually been I totally cheated on that section. They stick out a little bit and you can shoot them from a distance without setting off the event. On Hardcore, one takes around 7-8 shots from the starting sniper rifle, or 4/5ths of a full charge on the collector heavy weapon to take down.
-
I like the Sniper upgrade actually. You can't one shot enemies anymore, but it was usually 3-4 shots per enemy to take them down. If you hit with every shot, the basic sniper gives you 11 (or is it 12?) kills. The upgraded sniper would get you between 15-20 kills. Also, not having to reload between every shot was worth it.

I tried modding those out once. It just wasn't the same without them. Will let you know in about 5 minutes. I slept through my alarm and the first half of my class so I guess I'm free to play ME2 right away...

Everyone gets a mod that gives you ammo regen for at least one weapon. Soldiers also have team ammo regen which covers all weapons, for everyone in the game.

*shakes fist* I still don't have confirmation of shipping yet. Amazon is listing my order as being prepared so I can't cancel anymore. Hopefully it was shipped out today and they just haven't updated my order yet. I can still hope! Edit: Also, someone asked about a page back whether or not we can get rid of the Terminator look that evil Shepard has. I seem to recall it being confirmed by the devs that you can pay to have the scars and such removed.

It's the char# save. All you have to do is run the ME2 configuration utility and point it to the folder containing your ME1 saves. It'll do the rest.

It's raining here in Ontario...

I doubt that. I mean ME had it, DA had it, JE had it, KotOR had it... No F/F according to the devs, people hoped for Samara action(Asari not considered female by the devs ). But the game files seem to indicate that Samara is not an option. Not an option for the females that is. For us guys, it's a matter of gotta shag 'em all! Mass Effect 3 will take place 20+ years after Mass Effect 2. The entire party will be composed of Shepard's half-alien children. Each will have their own special talents based on which half-alien species they are. EDIT: Thanks. That clears things up a bit.

Welcome to the Internet. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main...erThanTheyThink I get the trope, but what is the connection between Bioshock and Fallout? What did Bioshock supposedly rip off from Fallout?
-
A concept frankly ripped from Planescape Torment. lol. This is almost as bad as when I saw someone claim that Bioshock ripped it's art style off from Fallout. What? Who would claim something like that? O.o Admittedly I only played about an hour of Bioshock, but in that time I didn't see anything that made me think "Man, this so reminds me of Fallout!"

The rumours say there's alot of lez action but no manlove, Im afraid. But they did have that in DA, so maybe the rumours are wrong. Well, the thing is, I only have a complete ME1 savegame from a FemShep right now (I presume I can't change gender afterwards in ME2?), but I wanna romance with Miranda, because ya know, I'm a dude (but playing as a gal). Ahh, it's complicated. You're welcome.

Ah, crap. They better not have some secret police force show up and drag Tali away.
-
They've said they are using the same method that was used in Dragon Age. Basically, Disc Check + online check for the DLC.

I thank you for your sympathy, but not for the reason you intended it. It's January and it's above freezing! Where the hell are my -20C temperatures and all the damn snow?! Which one of you bastards is stealing it all?!

I went for the Inferno armour, but I didn't exactly have a choice if I wanted a CE. EB Games/Gamestop stopped taking PC CE pre-orders something like a week after it was announced. :/ EDIT: In game shots for you.

SMAC? Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri SMAC
-
No. The 5870 is the single GPU top end card. The dual GPU card is the 5970.
-
Meanwhile, the Senators haven't lost enough players during their regular games, so they've taken to getting injured in practice as well.
-
I've got my copy of the CE pre-ordered, but have yet to get any confirmation on whether or not I'm getting any of the DLC. Future Shop hasn't made any mention of the DLC and hasn't responded to my requests for information. I'll be slightly disappointed if I don't get that Inferno armour because I think it looks awesome, but I'll get over it. It's a small bonus on something I was going to pre-order anyway because of the limted CE availability.

You'll be able to find an artifact for each of the different types of elemental damage. I think there is 5-6 levels of each. Of got my soldier turret set up to do corrosive damage right now to help out with all the heavily armoured enemies since I don't have any other corrosive weapons can cut through it. Also, Tannis is indeed awesome. Damn that voice recorder for plotting against her!
