  1. That made me laugh. "
  2. I remember that one.
  3. No. I'm glad I don't open tommorow. The palce I work has 54 360's and half are taken already. It will be interesting to find out how many people show up when I arrive at work tommorow. "
  4. We need Eldar.
  5. Hey, I'm upset. Not only did I not pick Kovalchuk for that very reason, I also made a point out of laughing at everyone who did for the first week. Now, sadly, I sit in 5th and 11th place in my hockey pool edited for spelling Kovalchuk Kovalchik... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> god I miss Oilers and Calgary hockey. Moved out here to Toronto 6 years ago and its just not the same! All these die hard leaf fans with no idea what good hockey really is! hehe And finding a decent hockey pool is next to impossible! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tell me about it. I've got another year minimum before I can move away. These leafs fans are crazy I tell you! Just because I walked down the sidewalk wearing a Canadiens jersey... "
  6. Who? I certainly hope you don't mean me, because I made no plans with you folks to break. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's certainly not the impression my esteemed ally gave me... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think I said I was trying to work something out. <_< Sent 2 e-mails but never got a response.
  7. I didn't play Drow before they were cool, but I didn't know they were cool. Does that still count? And if you must know, she was chaotic neutral. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had a cousin who was convinced to play in an evil game. She created a chaotic neutral female drow character. From what I recall, the explanation that she gave for her being on the surface was that she was the daughter of the leader of a major house. The leader had been killed and the character didn't enjoy the new responsibilities and constant assassination attempts so she picked up and left. Don't think I've ever played a drow. Played a bunch of planetouched, a couple kobolds and the rest were standard races.
  8. W00T! Detroit lost all three games in Western Canada!
  9. I never had that much trouble with Ninja Gaiden or Dark Reign. Of course I only had time to go through Ninja Gaiden once one Normal. Took about a week (30 hours says the save game, but I played for way longer than that when you take into account deaths and replaying areas etc...) but I never had that much trouble with any of the bosses because they were hard. Had some trouble because I wasn't used to the controls at first, but after the first two chapters I had the controls down. Hardest game I ever played was Commander Keen: Episode 4. "
  10. According to one of my friends there is one in the break room at the Future Shop here in town.I should be able to verify that tommorow or on the weekend. "
  11. 10 games. That was before they moved to Calgary though.
  12. Calgary wins it's 8th straight.
  13. At least the notes are legible. <_<
  14. I once beat 3 people in a game of Brood War ladder match. It started out as 6 person match where we were going to play as if it was a 3v3, but the two people that were on my team were dropped 10 seconds into the match. I ended up fending off combined assaults from three other players and managed to kick their asses. Then my ladder ranking dropped because it said I lost for some reason when I obviously owned those punks.
  15. Same games as the Nintendo SP. What does that have to do with anything? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think the point is to look at the games you'd be playing (just Gameboy Advance games) and if you end playing something with a lot of small....stuff, then it might be hard to play on the Micro. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was actually thinking that you generally aren't going to find many games for which screen size is an issue as they have been designed to be played on the small screen. Even the small text in Fire Emblem was quite clear and very easy to read.
  16. So was it too small in the end? What game(s) did you try on it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I played Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. I thought it was actually easier to read the text on that then on the SP because it seemed so much clearer. It wasn't too small, but as I said, it's as small as I would be comfortable with. Anything smaller would just seem too awkward.
  17. Having tried a micro when I was testing out the differences between it and a DS for my brother as a gift I can say that the Micro's screen is about the smallest that I would want a handheld to be, although it was quite crisp and clear. Kotorkyle: Take a look at the games available for the micro.
  18. I spent an hour trying to climb up to the ninja academy in the first area of Ninja Gaiden. :">
  19. "Christmas Sucks" One year I got a dog for christmas And I gave it to the boy next door Then I gave him my bike and my mom
  20. Poor guy. :'( He will be missed.
  21. I'm going to borrow your smilie Reveilled.
  22. I do the same thing. Except I still like the colours to match. It feels weird when my computer case, mouse, speakers and keyboard are all black but the moniter is beige.
  23. I usually get INTP with the occasionaly flip into ISTP or INTJ. This time I got ISTJ though which I've never gotten before. Introverted 67 Sensing 2 Thinking 88 Judging 4
  24. How long till he retires? Not once has he played for a team I liked. He's always the one that playes for the team that ends up beating the team I like. Toronto? Stopped the Sens. Dallas? Always seem to stop the Oilers. STOP PLAYING SO WELL AGAINST TEAMS I LIKE!
  25. Another good point. For some people (myself included), the tinkering with hardware is half the fun in owning a pc.
