  1. My first game I played with my main character as a scout. He was damn good at sneaking around, and he had what looked like a silenced submachine gun that was fairly effective at taking out the enemy without drawing more attention than I could handle. Short burst to the back of the head from point blank range does it every time. "
  2. No but he has a point. Dragonshard is a lot closer to being an RTS then an RPG. I remember playing the demo and finding I couldn't complete it because it couldn't seem to hold my interest long enough.
  3. The only game on that list that I have played is N. Fun little flash game where you get to play as a ninja and make your way through the maps collecting gold and dodging enemies.
  4. I remember you hanging around here before.
  5. I remember playing a demo set up in Blockbuster when it first came out. They had a sonic game running on it.
  6. No, that was the price of the basic NWN game when it first was released here in Canada. It was a bloody ripoff and I'm glad I didn't purchase it. The majority of games that I have seen and can remember purchasing have been $59.99 cdn.
  7. Unfortunately no. I've seen others with this problem on forums and other locations. Unfortunately as well most of the responses seem to be either completely unhelpful and addressing things already tried or unrelated, down to calling the posters names and insulting them badly (not me, this is actually these were the first forums I brought this subject up in because I wanted to make sure NWN2 runs when I start it up...I suppose thats' selfish...but I WOULD like it to run when I install and run it). I would imagine the specs on my machine would More than run it easily (especially on the 7600 machine, with a 200 gig harddrive, a 2.5 processor, 1 gig ram). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have you attempted running the game with a no-cd patch?
  8. NO offense...but that's like...duh... Yes...seeing AoW:HT isn't even available in the areas around here, I actually found out about it by browsing those forums...and they were my first stop in seeing if there were any real solutions to the problems I was having (for more than just AoW:HT) weeks ago. But thanks for the nice suggestion... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could you summarise just what exactly is the problem. I'm not sure I understand what you were saying earlier.
  9. Not sure just what you are saying here but I can tell you that Act of War: High Treason uses Securom. I haven't had any problem with it.
  10. could be. definitely cutting edge, however. taks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only $4000Cdn!
  11. Just finished watching The Bourne Supremacy. Didn't like it as much as Identity, but still enjoyable.
  12. Here we just call it spam.
  13. And time it with thelikely Civ 4 expansion - that would be pretty much what got me excited with the Complete Valve relase over Steam (all HL up to HL2 Exp1). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The likely Civ 4 expansion? You mean Warlords which happens to be out already?
  14. I vaguely recall playing a demo or something of the game, however at the time when it came out I was still mostly playing Commander Keen or Command and Conquer. I remember not knowing what the heck I was doing. "
  15. It makes sense, and if it's true, then it means that there is no dilemma, and the article was just made so the reporter could get people all worked up and become famous. I mean, stalling the internet? I don't know if anything could do that, let alone Vista. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hah! Vista is so full of bloatware it won't only stall your computer, but it will stall other people's computers over the internet!
  16. I've seen up to 46" LCD's for what it's worth. Not quite 60' but still.
  17. I haven't heard of Conflicts either, however I do own Test of Time. It has the original Civ2 game as well as an extended version of the game that has extra units and technologies. The extended version allows you to continue on playing and colonize Alpha Centauri. Reaching the planet unlocks a secondary tech tree as well. Along with those there is also a Sci-fi scenario that spreads over four maps and a fantasy campaign that has a similar four map spread. The buildings and technologies are all the same in these campaigns except that they have been renamed.
  18. Take-Two planning Civ compilation. It may not have a cloth map in the extras, but a Civ card game sounds pretty neat. "
  19. Tau. That should answer just about any and all questions you people might have.
  20. Stupid demo! I want my Broadsides!
  21. You can preorder from your local EB. That's what I did with Civ4.
  22. Pretty much. Although to be honest, I don't think Crank really acknowledges that there is a top to be over in the first place it just that far over it. "
  23. I went and saw Crank earlier today and it's probably the most ADD movie I have ever seen. It was just so over the top it was absolutely rediculous. The cinema that I went to was 3/4 full in the middle of the afternoon with mostly older people who seemed to have a great time. Lots of laughs, intentional or not.
  24. I would like to see a remake of Alien Legacy. I have the original cd version and there are a number of small changes and one large change that I would like to see implemented. I'm in the beginning stages of creating my own version of the game that would have some of my changes added to it. The one thing that I'm not sure how I would add to the game however would be actual combat unfortunately. As an alternative to a remake, a sequel would be good too where you start in a solar system nearer to Earth and build up your forces in order to retake our own solar system from the Centaurians and eventually retaliate against their homeworld. As you retake the Sol system and colonize the planets you discover the remanants of human outposts and destroyed centaurian ships. In the centaurian system you could find new materials that would allow you to make advances in technology. I'm sure someone could work it out! "
