The only game I bothered to steal things in was in Baldur's Gate 2. I'd pump my pickpocket skills to where I could steal a merchants entire inventory right out from under him without him noticing.

I've never had that conversation. Where did you get that one?

Only two land factories? And just curious, but did one of your shield generators get blown up or is it just offline?

I captured this at about the 6-7 hour mark in a skirmish I ran today. All the buildings you can see there that don't have a red square at their centre are actually just wreckage. You can still see the glow from when the enemy commander exploded. I'm not quite sure the order in which things happened as I had just arrived back at my computer to see a giant mushroom cloud. I do know that it was my heavy artillery that started it all off. Either it hit the commander which blew up and took out the nearby power plants and caused a chain reaction, or the power plants died first and the commander got caught in their deaths. That 2.0 up in the top left corner is my FPS. On top of that the game scaled back the speed to lessen the strain on my system. It didn't work. The game scaled back to -10 speed, but still didn't give playable frame rates.

An upgraded Commander could build everything on the screen there in about 30 minutes by himself. And why did you surround your factory with T1 power? The T3 power plants would give it a much larger boost. One last comment on this group, why are you still using the horrible standard UI? ALT+Up Arrow scrolls through the UI options. (Standard, Left Side, Right Side, Minimal) EDIT: Meta, just what are you trying to get at there?

Is that a Galactic Colossus in the last picture being slowly pecked to death by the Soul Ripper?

I'd like to add any playoff games that the Isles play in. I don't see them suspending him for 15 games and then letting him walk back in for the playoffs.

Small city + big cinema + no one that likes to reserve tickets ahead of time = lot's of empty seats (usually).

The last movie that sold out here was the first Lord of the Rings movie.

I hate you. The movie sold out just before I got to the front of the line... I feel like hurting something, but I'm not sure what at this point in time. Possibly that lucky bastard that decided to actually show up and prevent me from stealing his ticket. That sounds like it would be fun. Apparently a bunch of people I know are going to see it on Sunday, so I'll have to go with them instead.

$20 on the rest of the season.

I've only managed to find a single copy of each here in town so far. Both of them were used copies at EB games. Black was $30 and the original was $15. :ninja10:

I remember Star Wars Rogue Squadron for the 64 being approx. $80 up here in Canada back then. I have an EB near me that I will go to on occasion because like you I know the one manager and he's an awesome guy. He's responsible for the PC games section at that store not being any smaller than it already is. About half of the employees at the store currently are actually quite knowledgeable about the games they sell and are generally nice people. There are a few though that aren't so hot. On top of that they actually have a Wii set up that you can play! The EB at the mall has one setup, but you have to leave your credit card and driver's license with the guy at the desk before they give you the remote. <_<

I have to agree with Mkreku on this one Kor. The Drury hit was maybe a second late and that's being generous. Drury got caught with his head down and obviosuly didn't have his helmet on properly. Kaberle on the other hand was hit a good three seconds after he passed the puck and on top of that he sorta jumped and caught Kaberle with his elbow. This hit was completely different from most other hits that have been talked about this season. Most of them have been good legal checks that ended up a tad high and possible clipped the other person's head.

I usually bounce around between three stations usually. Most of the time the stuff is usually just on as background noise because I can't stand silence. 101.5 The Wolf - Standard rock station. Nuff said. 99.5 Kaos - Mostly rock. Run by one of the local universities. I listen to this when I want something that I haven't heard a billion times already. 98.7 CBC Radio One - Shock! Horror! Commie radio!

I never really got into the campaign. There just wasn't enough difference between a mission and a normal skirmish game. Anyway, I'm currently bouncing between a couple games with Supreme Commander (when I can stomach the horrible performance) and Heroes of Might and Magic V at the top of the list.

There are some nations that would immediately surrender to the aliens then begin collaborating with and aiding them in their war against the rest of the world. Not mentioning any names here. Fra... nevermind. Quick! Someone call X-com!

Go into Skirmish mode. Click the dropdown arrow for race/army. Click on NOD. It won't change, but now press 'N'. Enjoy. I swear this wasn't here when I posted.
