I'm trying to find an anime series I saw around 1993 or 1994, that had a baseball setting where a kid went up against harder and harder opponents, including a pianist, a sumo wrestler, and a fencer. It ends with the star of the show creating a small black hole inside the stadium by spinning the ball really, really, really, really, really, really, fast. I can't remember the name of the show.

I think you're talking about a spanish cartoon called Dartacan y Los Tres Mosqueperros. It was huge here in Portugal. I can still sing the title song in portuguese. song. The Mysterious Cities of Gold also showed here in Portugal. I was never a big fan, though.

Thundercats and Ghostbusters were the only kids TV cartoons that really stayed in my memory after all these years. I do remember an anime version of the three musketeers where Aramis was a chick (and a hot one too).
  4. There aren't any socket 775 motherboards with DDR1 slots?
  5. Go for Jackie Brown. Some critics didn't like it, but I thought the story and the acting were pretty awesome. I am a Tarantino fanboy, though.

It's average on the tall side. Anyone over 1.80 meters towers over everyone else. And pretty much all portuguese women are shorter than me. I've had a girlfriend who was just a little over 1.50 meters.

  18. There goes the interest I had in Gothic 3.
  19. I haven't played Thief 3, but I thought body awareness was awesome in Dark Messiah's demo. It didn't feel sluggish at all, just different. I actually hope it becomes standard in all FPSes. I also think Dark Messiah's melee combat wouldn't work without it.
  20. I've begun to wonder whether the PC in Bioshock, will have a body like in Dark Messiah.
  21. Especially if the matchups involve them.
  22. While I will play Portugal, in the first Medieval I always enjoyed playing the arab countries.
