  1. You make a good case but Im not sure I agree with the bolded part. Lest say you met identical twins, one male, one female. They look exactly alike except for maybe hair length and boobs (same face, height, weight, body type, etc...). You feel the only thing attracting you to one sex or the other is your upbringing? If were to meet such a pair, I would only feel attracted to the female but I wouldn't really know why. But I'm sure various events in my very early life "conspired" to make me prefer the females of the species, rather than the males. Also, note that when I say upbringing, I mean everything that makes a person what (s)he is today, except for genes.
  2. So, IYO, its a choice? Its environmental? Hmm, interesting. Why would bi-sexuality be genetic? Some sort of "crossed wires" in the brain? If bi-sexuality is genetic why not homosexuality? My theory goes like this. It's not attraction to this or that sex that is genetic (that is always choice/environment related), but a desire to have sex is genetic. As such everyone is potentially bisexual, but due to upbringing ends up on only one side of the tracks, so to speak. This would also explain why a lot of people, under the right conditions (jail or military for example), change their orientantion temporarily.
  3. I don't think homosexuality is genetic at all, precisely for that reason. Soon or later, such a gene would eventually disappear. Bisexuality, however, could be genetic.
  4. I think there's something about the little girls' bodies that allows them to process "Adam". Hence only they can do the harvesting.
  5. Some people don't have English as a first language. The rest are idiots. I hope you belong to the first group.
  6. But would you have to go around wearing a dress and let your hair grow?
  7. Why, do you think homosexuality is "curable"? No, but it's not a genetic defect either. Nor is homosexuality a "flawed desire".
  8. I think that's pushing it.
  9. Or you can kill a little girl's protector and become the girl's new protector. I think.
  10. I hope you're being humourous, Gfted1.
  11. Everyone must join the Church of Bioshock!
  12. Ok, so I'm exagerating a little bit about the crappiness of Half-Life's story. :"> Still, it's just a meh kind of story that does the job of keeping the game going forward. Which is all you ever do in the game, by the way: go forward and kill the baddies. It's Quake single-player with AI.
  13. Linearity doesn't make a story lame. But if you make a game completely linear for the sake of the story, and then, go ahead and write a crap story anyway, then what's the point of the linearity?
  14. And you've just defined the lameness of Half-Life. And th storyline is only good compared to FPSes who had the whole story explained in the readme so you're left with precisely squat plus a few cool technical innovations. Anyway, the real problem is that you can expect about zero game design innovation from any future Valve games.
  15. I was attempting to be humourous while at the same time making clear that I think such an idea is silly. I failed.
  16. I'd support an organization that helps women become bissexuals.
  17. Old fashioned? Haven't tattoos been around for ages?
  18. Barcelona was fun. When you weren't fighting, that is.
  19. My system runs it like the wind. :D
  20. why won't your parents help? Were you born in China?
  21. Neither, but I'd say it's closer to Gothic. To the best of my knowledge you never see your own face so you don't know what you look like. It's the way of System Shock. Dont expect character creation at the start of the game. However, I wouldn't call Oblivion's PC a blank slate in any way. You get to choose its appearence, sex and you can fiddle around with the attributes as you see fit.
  22. Neither, he's a blank slate.
  23. Character designs in Oblivion look like they were due sheer incompetence. The FaceGen program that they licenced for Oblivion makes better random faces than any in Oblivion. And, after about an hour and half with the game, I could make faces with Oblivion that were better than any faces the professional paid artists did for the game. It's like they couldn't even be bothered to do their jobs properly.
  24. I'd be honored. However, I'd rather have a free copy of NWN2. Doesn't even have to be a collector's edition. But of course, I believe the likelihood of that happening is generally referred to as "fat chance".
