Personally, I prefer neutral backgrounds. They should be as unobtrusive as possible.

Let's not forget the voice acting. Irenicus was all about David Warner's voice.

You have a BG-like party of up to four people, including the PC. You have full control over their actions.

Almost no health at all, much more resilient enemies, less items, less nanites (those ten nanites each ressurrection costs can really add up). :ph34r: At least it isn't timed like System Shock 1.

In System Shock 1 the laser sword was an awesome weapon, but in the sequel it was severely toned down.

But the actions of the characters are.

It was my understanding that the sun would go through a red giant phase first, engulfing Earth's orbit and roasting us all to tasty perfection, then finally peter out as a white dwarf. I'm not sure about the dwarf's color, but that's pretty much what will happen.

You'll be sorry. And anyway, the problem isn't the story, it's the way the game is designed and the way they make you feel while the game unfolds.

I had a dream in which I was playing Bioshock last night.

You'll ruin the game if you do that. It's a horror game. You shouldn't know what to expect when playing it for the first time.

And now I've got the Benny Hill tune stuck in my head.

I have to say I quite liked the graphics. The only thing I wasn't too impressed about were the character's heads. Seemed wooden and lacked detail.
