  1. Here's some more info regarding ultrawide problems:
  2. Perhaps this is a shot in the dark, but maybe there's a chance the info in this thread will help with this issue:
  3. Yes, more discrete graphics settings is always a plus.
  4. From what I've seen online that stuttering appears to show up specific when going through tall grass.
  5. At 3440x1440 normal gameplay the game uses VERT- instead of HOR+, prerendered cutscenes are stretched, and in dialogue the screen gets letter boxed. Here are some example screens, courtesy of resetera: 16:9: 21:9: Prerendered cutscene: Dialogue screen:
  6. I assume that's it, but you should ask Gamestop.
  7. It's sitting in my SSD right now, so technically, it's out. There, somewhere. Even if we can't play it.
  8. It looks like preloading is only available through Microsoft. The Epic Games Store isn't, as far as I know, offering any sort of preload. For PC, the game isn't available anywhere else. All other retailers seem to be only offering keys for the Epic Games version, so no preload there.
  9. And here I am all proud that I have a 21:9 screen. I think recent UE4 games typically support ultrawide resolutions on release. I assume even if they're not supported right out of the box, ultrawide resolutions will be added in rather quickly by some enterprising people. Not sure if 32:9 is a different ball game in terms of support, though.
  10. For myself the quality of the dpad was a huge advantage of going with Dualshock. In fighting games in particular, it's so much better, and when I use the left stick my thumb reaches it just fine. For a few years I had a Cyborg gamepad, a 360 gamepad variant that allowed you to switch the dpad and left analogue stick, at any time. Perhaps you can find one of those.
  11. I went the other way, moving from Xbox controllers to Dualshock ones, and couldn't be happier with the move.
  12. Holy spit, he is alive.
  13. I'd argue that's just a correction, not an overcorrection, though. Dems have plenty of bad ideas. Like say Dems have, historically, been responsible for a bunch of misguided foreign meddling. But if they did that again, they'd just be right in line with Trump/GOP practice. So, again, just come up with an example of what you mean. Hell, I'll come up with an example myself. After the rampant disregard of the Constitution by the Trump admin, in response a Democrat administration decides to declare the Constitution an infallible holy document, that can never be amended in any way(and somehow gets such a resolution to get approved by both houses). This would be an enormous and terrible overcorrection. Also ridiculously silly, and not going to happen. Now, can you give an example yourself? Preferably one that is in the realm of possibility, unlike mine.
  14. That's way too vague and generic. Can you give an example of what you mean? Something Trump has done that is perceived as wrong and how it could be overcorrected by Dems.
  15. Overcorrection how?
  16. I haven't upgraded my computer in 4 years! Still, I did some changes after my last house move, last year: ASUS P8H77-V LE INTEL Core i5 3450 3.10GHz GEIL 8GB DDR3 1600MHz ASUS Geforce GTX 980 Ti Crucial MX100 512GB Seagate 1Tb 7200 RPM S-ATA2 32Mb Dell U3415W 2 Dualshock 4 gamepads I should probably buy new speakers, though, and install my sound card again.
  17. Tweeted out by Turkey's former ambassador to the US, apparently.
  18. So after Trump going with "there was no quid pro quo" as a defense since the Ukraine story broke, Mulvaney admitted to a quid pro quo in a press conference, including the words "We do that all the time... get over it". But, apparently Mulvaney's declaration wasn't quite planned (Trump liked it, his legal team hated it (gasp!)), so he came out with a retraction just a couple of hours later. Wait, did I say retraction? Not quite that. What he actually did was blame the press for misconstruing what he said, where misconstruing appears to have the alternative definition of "reporting what is said on camera, verbatim". Only the best people.
  19. So those two guys that got indicted for Ukraine as Giuliani's associates, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman own a company and a beach club. .... The names of those two businesses are Fraud Guarantee and Mafia Rave. No, really. Really. I assume we're actually now living in the satire universe, managed by former Onion writers.
  20. Corgis make the best social media managers.
  21. You could have just written "buttery males" and be done with it.
  22. No matter many how times I hear/read someone stating that Clinton would have been as bad as/worse than Trump, it still leaves me kinda at a loss for words. It's like the utmost expression of bothsideism in text, given form by extraordinary misinformation, willful ignorance or rampant dishonesty. As per usual I post the above with full conscience that Hillary Clinton is an inveterate political animal who probably shouldn't be trusted by anyone.
  23. Why is that true for Biden?
  24. What's most interesting for me is that Trump was the one who came out throwing Pence under the bus, almost immediately. I imagine McConnell most have done the most massive of double takes when that happened.
