In any case, I'm not sure if Trump wouldn't get tricked into going along with everything the Dems wanted. Down ballot, though. I mean the specific conditions of this election makes the Presidential election especially consequential, but local elections are much more important to your daily life, regardless of the election year.

Incidentally, for years I never really thought about it, because trial by jury is so ubiquitous in pop culture. But at one point I started to reflect on it, and it seems to me like trial by jury is an absolutely idiotic way to make important judicial decisions.

At this point, the more interesting question is how many senate seats can the Democrats take. That's the thing that will affect US legislation the most in the next couple of years.
