  1. That will almost certainly not happen though. Votes for Senate seats and President correlate fairly strongly. In any case, I'm not sure if Trump wouldn't get tricked into going along with everything the Dems wanted. Remember when Schumer and Pelosi met with Trump at the beginning of his term, and he basically got manipulated into going along with them?
  2. I assume that if you look for voting lines in your congressional district on google pictures and news should appear.

  4. Down ballot, though. I mean the specific conditions of this election makes the Presidential election especially consequential, but local elections are much more important to your daily life, regardless of the election year.
  5. Incidentally, for years I never really thought about it, because trial by jury is so ubiquitous in pop culture. But at one point I started to reflect on it, and it seems to me like trial by jury is an absolutely idiotic way to make important judicial decisions.
  6. You guys don't care about down ballot votes?
  7. They could have switched colours and no one would have noticed the difference.
  8. Yep, the article explains they thought the cat to sue the faucet the week before. Hence the pictures.

  10. Lol. And those three countries are a really low bar to pick.
  11. What exactly have the Democrats in crongress screwed up since, I dunno, the repeal of Glass-Steagall? I guess they helped pass the Patriot act?
  12. Even internal polling is dire for Trump, and GOP senators are beginning to break away. And Trump isn't the most wrapped of people to begin with. Some recent polls have been slightly improved for Trump in a couple of swing states, but nothing that tips the scales all that much. At this point, the more interesting question is how many senate seats can the Democrats take. That's the thing that will affect US legislation the most in the next couple of years.
  13. Yes.
  14. American politics is usually right wing against more right wing. The "extremist" AOCs and Bernie Sanders of American politics would be moderate left wingers in most of the developed world.
  15. Proud Boys change name to Leather Men
  16. The fly won.
  17. There's no "it now appears" about it. It was pretty obvious that the spread was inevitable after the first cases were discovered, and the White House's shocking refusal to help with contact tracing just compounds the cluster-foodspearingcutlery.
  18. Crayon for rough drafts, sharpie for big boy writing.
  19. And is contagious.
  20. Failed joke.
  21. I think this gif is more appropriate
  22. Mild symptoms are being reported now, though.
