  1. Glad to hear some of you like it! For those that don't, you can toggle this off in the "Interface" options tab.
  2. You can find all the general details of what's helpful when bug reporting here: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/97377-how-to-report-a-bug/ The Output Log specific part pasted from there is: Output Log When the issue occurs, close the game client, find this file, then attach it to your post Steam Location: \Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\output_log.txt GOG Location: \GOG\Games\Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\output_log.txt GOG Galaxy: \GalaxyClient\Games\Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\output_log.txt OSX Location: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
  3. Hello, When you run into this issue again, do you mind attaching your output_log.txt file here so we can look into what's causing your issue? Thanks, Roby
  4. Interesting find! We don't typically spin up our own threads ourselves (they either come from Unity's internal job system or from third party software we've added). That being said, we'll definitely take a look at this when we're back in the office and investigate this further.
  5. Interesting find! We'll definitely take a look at this once we're back in the office.
  6. Pretty sure this should be fixed in 1.1.0. If you are still having this issue in 1.1.0, could you send us your save?
  7. To be clear, we do have a bigger patch that has been being worked on for about 4 weeks now that we're finishing up. These were just some simple / safer fixes we pulled over into the 1.1.0 patch to ensure we're still getting some improvements out in a timely manner. Most of these fixes in 1.1.1 were introduced in 1.1.0 (ex: change appearance window not scaling down to smaller resolutions) so that was the focus of this smaller patch for the most part.
  8. If you have any save games right before this level transition that can be uploaded, we can take a look at reproducing and figuring out the cause of this issue.
  9. Can anyone here provide a save right before this transition that keeps sending you to the Main Menu? With that we can hopefully reproduce and diagnose the issue and patch in a fix.
  10. Are you trying to make a quicksave or load a quicksave? I believe F6 actually makes quicksaves.
  11. We have a hunch to what the problem is based off of the output_log info and the next beta patch will hopefully resolve it. It's a bit hard to be sure since nobody at Obsidian is running into this issue though.
  12. If you are having trouble uploading a save file on here, go ahead and email your zip file to bugs@obsidian.net and we can look into the issue. Thanks.
  13. Likely either late next week or the week after that. We want enough beta testing to ensure nothing catastrophic was introduced. We also have a few additional small things we will be adding in as they are finalized (companion partial hairs with hats, etc.). We also just found one of the bad memory leaks today and fixed that up so that will likely be added as an update to the beta patch Monday or Tuesday.

  15. Hi, Could you also providing one of your save files that is having this issue? Thanks, Roby
  16. There will be some improvements for Custom AI in the next patch that goes out including grouping the conditionals into categories that you can collapse.
  17. For me I have the opposite problem. I created a custom-world for Eder with him being in the Night Market, but the game is treating as though he went to visit his parents in Aedyr. He has a night-market amulet but the dialog is wrong. With the latest patch, can you recreate the history from scratch and see if it is still not working? There were some issues with the history maker SI so any histories made prior to the patch builds still have the old variable data in it.
  18. The original beta patch has a retroactive fix to the mentioned achievement where it will grant it to you upon loading your save that has the quest complete. The original build 71 patch notes have been updated to included this.
  19. Do you have the actual save game file that is in your SaveGames folder? The folder uploaded was the working individual save data files from your playthrough but not the save file you are loading.
  20. Thanks! Also, if you have a save file right before this happens that would hopefully help us figure this out too.
  21. Hi Chazn2, If this is still happening for you, can you upload your save right before this happens to see if we can get this to happen on our side? Thanks
  22. With anyone here who is having this problem, could you upload your output log file after the crash happens? You can find details about how to do that here: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/97377-how-to-report-a-bug/ Thanks!
  23. The game is just a display bug that you only see on the world map. The stats are not actually that when in a normal scene. This has been fixed on our side and will be released in our first major non-hotfix patch.
