This only shows that obsidian cannot achieve success and get fans simply by being biowares b!tch. They need to create their own settings or at least their own rpgs that arent sequels to biowares work.

Planescape Torment is the greatest rpg of them all. There is absolutely no doubt about that and it is a solid fact.

Ever since baldurs gate 2 came out, i have never bought into biowares hype. Their games keep devolving with time.

It was the best laptop I could find for the money(975 pounds). 1028 mb 400 mhz ram, radeon 9700 128 mb, pentium 4 3.2 ghz, wusga screen, 60 gb 5200 rpm hard disk, dvd writer. Can you recommend anything better with a similar price?

this company is completely screwed up. i bought a laptop from them costing almost 2000 dollars on the 28th of last month. i sent them an email on jan 2 and then again on jan 4. when you mail them through the website, they tell you that they will send you an automatic reply confirming that they recieved the email, but i didnt get any of these automated replies. this morning, they finally reply to me saying that they cancelled my order on the 29th!!! but on the 30th, my credit card company called and informed me that the money has been taken from my account. wtf is this? they take the money from my account and cancel my order! now their customer support is saying that they cancelled the order because of credit problems and the retarded customer care doesnt know anything else other than that. what the ****??? i dont think im ever going to order anything from these retards again. i just want my damn money back!!!!!

Icewind dale 2 is worth playing until you complete the first map. After that, the only good point is when you get to the last area of the game, which is the severed hand, which is excellently designed. However, I dont think it is worth wading through the whole crappy second and third maps of the game just to enjoy the severed hand at the end.

Icewind Dale is worth playing to the end. After that, just enter the heart of winter campaign, but dont play it, go straight to trials of the luremaster. There are reasons for this. Trials of the luremaster is a very good campaign(although short), and it is challenging if you are at low levels. Thus it is better if you play totl before playing through heart of winter. If you play heart of winter first, you will level a lot and will not be challenged by totl. Heart of winter has excellent graphics(the best looking areas of any ie game, by FAR), and the story is also very, very good. Unfortunately, the atmosphere sucks, and the combat is all mindless hack and slash, and requires none of the tactics that icewind dale did.

The japanese ring(original) has to be one of the greatest and most psychological and mysterious movies of all time. The sound effects were simply INCREDIBLE, and the story/theme/plot/atmosphere was amazing. The english version is garbage, it left so many loopholes in the story which did not make sense and were not explained unlike the japanese ring. Also, it was nowhere near as mysterious or scary and the sound effects were nothing great. The japanese part 2 of the ring is also garbage, it completely ****ed up the story and screwed everything that the first film did right. It didnt make good use of sound, did not havea nice atmosphere, and nothing in the story made any sense whatsoever. I still have to watch ring 0, the prequel to the ring in japanese and the part 2 of the english version. However, given japanese ring 2 and the english ring, which sucked, I dont think they are going to be any good. **************************************** Spoilers Ahead: In the Japanese version of the ring, sadako is a half goblin. Apparently, her mother had psychic powers and she used to hang out by the sea and talk to goblins. Her daughter sadako was a half goblin, hence her powers and abilities, and her deformed face. After her mother predicted a devastating volcanic eruption, she made local headlines, then she was taken by a professor who was intent on proving the existence of psychological powers and she had a love affair with him. In a demonstration of her psychological powers, professors shouted and accused them of faking it, and during this demonstration sadako got pissed and killed someone with her powers. After this, the mother commited suicide, and the professor took sadako with him. Eventually he bashed sadakos head with a shovel and left her for dead in a well.

Last night the death toll was reported to have reached 125,000.
