Damn. I think Ill have to buy an external cd rom drive for my laptop or something so that i can run the cds, or burn new copies of them.

I just bought and tried this strategy game. I dont like it much and IMO it is way too complicated. It seems to be an ok game though, jsut not my type. What do you guys think of it?

When I try to install games from some old and scratched cds to my new laptop, i keep getting these cyclic redundancy check errors(i have a dvd writer multi drive). However, the cds work fine in other pcs. Is there any way that I can fix these problems or do i need to buy a regular cd player to be able to play the cds?

The troika people were definitely very arrogant and have never cared what the fans think of them. What kind of company exists for 7 years and doesnt even create a discussion forum for its fans? Also, they were horrible designers. How retarded do you need to be in order to make a design decision that the identify spell would not tell you what an item does? Baldurs Gate isnt the gold standard for rpgs. It is Torment.

i have the soundtracks of most rpgs released recently, except for a few. i have the official soundtracks of: arcanum baldurs gate torment baldurs gate 2 icewind dale fallout fallout 2 temple of elemental evil(comes in mp2 with the game - one of the few things troika did right) Was there ever an official soundtrack released for throne of bhaal? if so, where can i get it? where can i download the iwd2/how official soundtrack? Also, where can i get the nwn/sou/hotu official soundtrack from?

Torment is an incredible game, simply amazing. How such a superb game could possibly be made boggles my mind.

Are there any good mods for temple of elemental evil? Im planning to play through it (mostly because it is the only game ive got with me right now). Ive tried visiting the circle of eight site since i heard of it, but it just links to a forum. The forum doesnt even have a button to click to register, and I cant find any links to mods anywhere.
