  1. that's just... wow
  2. Don't you realize how utterly uninformed this makes you sound? I saw a rather recent study that showed that around 80% of all prostitutes had been raped and abused during their childhood. It is impossible to understand for someone who hasn't been in the same situation, but becoming a prostitute (a piece of meat that others can abuse) is actually a self-defence system. It is the "right" choice for that type of heavily traumatized person. (Of course, not everyone reacts the same way since we're all different). When your brain tells you what is right and what is wrong, you'll have a very difficult time trying to do the opposite. Unfortunately, your brain doesn't always have the correct answer and, contrary to what you might think, you're not in direct control of it either. Just try to explain why you fall in love with someone. Or better yet, try to control who you fall in love with, if you don't believe me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Point to mkreku
  3. I had heard about this game... JUST after it got cancelled... I'm none to happy with Activision about that. There needs to be more survival horror games not less
  4. I think violence and gorelevel needs to fit the context, in this context it fits.
  5. Everyone has different preferences, nothing wrong with that
  6. Or they like to trash it because they find it dull. It just feels so... generic. Of course I think I'll blame that on the novelizations that seem to have corrupted it.
  7. I suggest NOLF And you can get it either PC or PS2.
  8. OMG, I wonder if the servers handled it.
  9. Your opinion has been nullified by the fact you don't read Skimreading doesn't count
  10. That should be shoved into the brain of every writer out there, with force if need be.
  11. Yes. King's biggest problem is his over-infatuation with "filler". Just tell the darn story already I mean honestly, how many people make 1000 page books that you can read the first 100 and last 100 pages of said book, and then know "exactly" what's going on. That's how much filler is in there
  12. That is the sad truth of the matter. If there were more options, I doubt the DnD games would have done so well as they did. (PC in this instance, not PnP)
  13. While it's not my favorite (my fav would be either KOTOR or Fallout 2) I'd say the best is Planescape Torment. In my opinion a computer/console RPG is an interactive story. Planescape was THE interactive story
  14. Sourcebooks should be springboards for your personal stories, not gospel to be adhered to. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought that was a given
  15. I'd say NWN2... I'm not that familiar with Dragon Age.
  16. Resident Evil 4 (already paid for... just waiting for release) Resident Evil Outbreak File 2 Knights of the Old Republic 2 (PC version) Obscure (IF THEY EVER FIND A NA PUBLISHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Bio-Shock
  17. He beat you to it, huh ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no.
  18. Or if Yellowstone blows... goodbye 1/2 of the USA
  19. Hey, you stole kitty cthulu from Hades
  20. How dare you use logic and make sense :D
  21. I apologize, I think this topic (and specifically some of the replies within) has put me on a short fuse.
  22. ROFLMAO I can't believe how many of you are trying to split hairs and have a war over symantics. Shackle, restriction, limitation. Geeze, some of you people are unbelievable.
