  1. Could we not make fun of other poster's user-names, please?
  2. No. R00fles! Tree hugger.
  3. Isn't that the same for any game?
  4. By that rationale, you can also lose your right to live, since cops can gun you down. Flimsy.
  5. This is sad. While I don't agree with what the mother was teaching her kids, they were her kids and it's her right to teach them as she sees fit. This is no different than teaching someone religion, or any other ideology.
  6. A shotgun, a few handguns, and an assault rifle... once.
  7. The Spiderwick Chronicles
  8. Kinda surprising... Neutral Good Human Druid (6th Level) Ability Scores: Strength- 8 Dexterity- 14 Constitution- 15 Intelligence- 15 Wisdom- 14 Charisma- 16 Alignment: Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable. Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like. Class: Druids- Druids gain power not by ruling nature but by being at one with it. They hate the unnatural, including aberrations or undead, and destroy them where possible. Druids receive divine spells from nature, not the gods, and can gain an array of powers as they gain experience, including the ability to take the shapes of animals. The weapons and armor of a druid are restricted by their traditional oaths, not simply training. A druid's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast. 9. Yup, you learn that from Caine and the old Wizard in Lut Gulain (sp?) Makes you wonder which characters will become bosses in D3. I'm guessing... Necromancer and Assassin.
  10. I thought the rogues in D1 was supposed to be from the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye? I'm pretty sure that Kashya mentions Blood Raven as being a commander or something of the Rogues that went to Tristram. Anyone that remembers anything from that? Edit: Lorebooks? Thank you Boyarsky, that was another thing that was mostly missing from D2. Yup, the Rogue was from the Sisterhood. edit: looking at the video... I'm guessing this is the civilization that spawned both the rogues and amazons.
  11. As for the trailer... wow.
  12. I don't know why, but the more I read about the new Fallout, the more I'm willing to give Bethesda the benefit of the doubt here. As for the screens... they are... shiney.
  13. Closing this old speculation thread now that we have a nice shiney new confirmed thread.
  14. Wicked. Thanks for the new thread too, I'll close the speculation one now that it's redundant.
  15. Maybe a different team will be a good thing.
  16. Hmm... question for anyone who might know... Was the team that made D2 the same team that made D1 and if so, how many of them still work at Blizzard?
  17. bored now.
  18. Psst. There is a hardcore mode.
  19. On the topic of game playing.... Nexus War... still. Strangely addictive for a text and icon based MMO
