It's all calculated; the masterminds know what they're doing. They want to make life tougher in the west for mainstream and moderate muslims. Syrian passport? Play on the worst fears towards the refugees by casting doubt and xenophobia towards the refugees. In the east, they want to destabilize secularism in Muslim majority countries like Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Lebanon, etc. The propaganda machine is working. Make it a black and white world of Islam versus Crusaders and eliminate all shades of gray. Even better for them that the west casts Sunnis and Shiites together if they can get them to fight their enemies as well. And we're all trending to buy it hook, line, and sinker.

I've always been of the mind that 8-bit era video games (Mario, Double Dragon, Ninja Gaiden etc.,) were a training ground for the development of one's masochism. Watching endless streaming of Mario deaths this morning confirmed that.

I wonder if George Martin will ever finish the next book. Wasn't it supposed to be done by the end of 2015? Now I think it's "maybe 2016", which likely means 2017 or later. Love the series, but absolutely hate how much of a procrastinator he is. The thing is, Martin agonizes over every paragraph. He writes, edits, rewrites and re-edits while checking for consistency and with what has been written before. He's not a hack who'll churn out voluminous garbage. I find that type of meticulous attention to craft refreshing in popular fiction (or game development). And he never gave out a release date for Winds of Winter.

However, it has a 150% bonus protection against slashing weapons (like axes) but suffer a 50% penalty against crushing weapons (such as maces). Additionally, If you go to your in-game journal screen, you'll see an option that takes you to your bestiary. As you defeat more enemies of a specific type, you'll start to gain information about their strengths and weaknesses. This information also includes what damage type best effects them. You can then match the best weapon of that specific damage type to be more effective in combat.
