  1. This was Project Eternity's backer trend. I should add that the current pace for PoE2 is considerably slower than the original campaign -both in pledged $$ and the number of backers. The current $$ raised in FIG is inflated by the nebulous "FIG FUNDS."
  2. slippery slope even the best flintlocks had rather high chance o' misfire. slight too little powder and you get breach. wet conditions, particular rain, would make for unlikely successful discharge and almost impossible reload. etc. HA! Good Fun! Certainly more discerning gentlemen ought to dual wield dueling pistols. Less susceptible to the ignominious unreliability of more mundane varieties.
  3. From a practical standpoint, it wouldn't really make sense to reload in the midst of a scrum anyway. Just fire several pre-loaded pistols.
  4. This was Project Eternity's backer trend.
  5. Now how would it be possible to show the reloading animation for two pistols simultaneously?
  6. Well, if the PC is hunting Eothas, wouldn't it make sense to have a Priest(ess) of Magran join in?
  7. You will get the code for PoE1 at the conclusion of the crowdfunding campaign (Feb 24).
  8. Well, the concept could be that the returnees could have been gravelly injured as well and the path to recovery and rehab isn't instantaneous.
  9. If there is ever a time for following the development of escapist entertainment as a form of escapist entertainment in its own right, the timing couldn't be more perfect. Thanks, Feargus!
  10. The counting numbers are certainly down for the Warriors' big four and Curry's taken the biggest hit. But he's still very efficient and the Warriors won't be as dominant as they are without him. Besides, his shooting percentages tend to spike up after the All Star break. He definitely has the ball less than he used to and is taking far less pull up transition triples from beyond 27 feet. Numbers aside, I'd still take Curry over any other Guard in the league. No question. Career Pre-All Star Game Averages FG% .472 3FG% .427 FT% .901 PTS: 21.6 AST: 6.7 REB: 4.3 Career Post-All Star Game Averages FG% .485 3FG% .466 FT% .913 PTS: 23.7 AST: 7.0 REB: 4.5 Curry's currently #'s: .466 .403 .936 23.9 5.9 4.2 ... Harden has the greatest single player on-court impact in the league outside of Westbrook, except that the Rockets are a significantly better team than OKC and unlike Westbrook, Harden has been much more efficient. LeBron's #'s are not mind-boggling and the Cavs record is almost equaled by Houston --who play in the West. That's why LeBron won't be winning the MVP.
  11. 12. I didn't think Memphis was gonna be as good as they are now.
  13. Well, this is garbage news right before the holidays. Good luck and best wishes to those affected.
  14. Godspeed, John Glenn. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/12/08/us/john-glenn-dies.html?src=twr&smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=cur&referer= A fine American with the right stuff.
  15. 60 pts in 29 minutes on 11 dribbles and 1.5 seconds per touch. That's pretty damn efficient.
  16. We'll see what Trump will do, but it's a good victory for the Standing Rock Sioux and their allies.
  17. The MVP balloting should be pretty interesting. Can you give it to Westbrook and his Triple Doubles despite his inefficiencies and team's non-contending status? Using baseball analogies, Barry Bonds and Mike Trout put up astounding counting numbers, but they were Sabremetrically sound and were/are clearly the best players in the league despite playing for mediocre teams. Can't really say the same about Westbrook. Same with Harden.
  18. I believe the appropriate term is Governator. If we're gonna secede, we go about it our own way.
  19. I've been accused of being a Federalist once or nineteen times in my life. Probably in these boards too. Technically, I did take an oath of office once...wouldn't look good for future employment prospects to have oathbreaker on my official personnel folder.
  20. If Sawyer ever makes his 16th Century fantasy-historical RPG, I want California to be just like this.
  21. Lots of revelations this year. The Lakers are fun. Kerr smokes pot. And this is what happens when you let Westbrook be Westbrook.
  22. I know he's held in high esteem by certain Marines in this forum, and reports indicate he's competent, very intelligent, and nuanced --but like a separation of powers between the Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary bodies of governmrnt, there should be an explicit chain of command of clear civilian leadership over the military at the Pentagon. That's why the 8 (formerly 10) year rule between military service and DoD leadership is in effect. It's a good and prudent law. You're telling me you'd be upset if the military overthrew Trump? Yes. I'm anti-coup d'etat here in the United States.
  23. When it comes to post counts, I always think on what, if anything our eldars would say about them. Cant think of any other alternatives.
