  1. NOPE. They want us to practice simple arithmetic. SNEAKY.
  2. LOL! I've long given up on taking anything too seriously from the internet! Take everything with a grain of salt and just enjoy the absurdity.
  3. Gee, what a concept! People designing websites and actually taking time and effort to construct them. Crazy thing this internet.
  4. I like KoTOR. And I feel welcome at Uncle Fergie's too!
  5. Although...I think it's a clever site. For its own purpose. Definitely gets people all riled up.
  6. Soooo...you DON'T think it's a good site?
  7. What up Darth Taylor? Forgive me if this piece of information has already been let slip out but in any case thanks for once again taking the time out to speak to the community. On with my question: I assume there will be no dice rolls for attributes. Can you shed light on whether it will it be weighted (like in the original) or non-weighted point buy?
  8. NEVER loan anything out unless you get something back of equal or preferably greater value to hold hostage.
  9. Scurvy eh? So that's why my gums bleed!
  10. THE END ALL BE ALL SOURCE OF TRUE STAR WARS LORE: (All other sources are considered heresy) MALAK'S JAW edit--- *tongue firmly planted in cheek*
  11. KotOR played like a Star Wars movie. KotOR had a Star Wars movie ending. If KotOR II plays like a Star Wars movie, it should have a Star Wars movie ending.
  12. INTERIOR: STAR CRUISER -- MEDICAL CENTER Luke wriggles his fingers, makes a fist, and relaxes it. His hand is completely functional. He gets up and walks over to Leia. There is a new bond between them, a new understanding. Leia is thinking about Han; Luke is thinking about his uncertain and newly complicated future. Together they stand at the large window of the medical center looking out on the Rebel Star Cruiser and a dense, luminous galaxy swirling in space. Luke puts his arm around Leia. The droids stand next to them, and Threepio moves closer to Artoo putting his arm on him. The group watches as the Millennium Falcon moves into view, makes a turn, and zooms away into space. EXTERIOR: SPACE -- REBEL STAR CRUISER While Luke, Leia, and the droids stand, looking out the window of the star cruiser, two escort fighters join the large ship. Slowly, the cruiser turns and moves away into space. DISSOLVE TO: EXTERIOR: GALAXY -- SPACE END CREDITS FADE IN AND OUT OVER BACKGROUND (sans Luke, Leia, Han, Threepio, Artoo and the MF)
  13. You treat it like it is a job, and quite frankly it is not. Unfortunatly America has forgoten all about sportsmanship. Do you see gymnastics coaches jumping up and down screaming their heads off about getting their head in the compitition when one othe gymnasts doesn't stick a landing or performs sub par? No because thats not in the spirit of the olympics. Now if we are talking about the NBA where everything is about money and who wins or looses thats another story. I mean lets face it Yao left china for a reason, you don't happen to think it had something to do with the fact a good pickup game is hard to find do you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for the red herring. For all the idealism of the Olympics, and whether or not they compete for compensation, there is a certain amount of pride associated with the Olympics. Dare I say...nationalism? Patriotism? Don't you happen to think that there is something at stake a little more than money? As a former collegiate athlete, I expect and need to get my butt chewed for not "getting my head in the game." Doesn't matter if it's from my coach, captain, or the waterboy. And it is certainly the most effective if it is done immediately. Can't let the cancer linger.
  14. Yao Ming is a team leader. Part of the responsibility of being a team leader is to kick any teammate in the arse who's dogging it. It doesn't matter if it's behind closed doors or out in the open. If something needs to be addressed -ESPECIALLY in the middle of action- it needs to be done IMMEDIATELY. Period. They're hi-level athletes. If they can't take a public scolding-then they're babies and don't belong there.
  15. I check to see if there are any good trolls around. Good trolls R phunnie. The rest is spam.
  16. No need. The remnants of the old BIS community here have/had their own clique of "master trolls". Although they have been "toned down" as of late, anyone who frequented the old Black Isle Studios Message Board knows them and knows their work. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Speaking of the old BIS boards...wasn't there a site that archived it?
  17. Spamming is lame. Effective trolling is art & entertainment.
  18. Baas was a fool. He was one of the worst Jedi Masters. Nah the kewlest was that beast Jedi that trained Nomi Sunrider... I wish I could remember his name. I think it was Thon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not a complete fool. But what a track record! Of his last three trainees: one became a Dark Lord of the Sith, another became a Sith lackey, and the last was bordering on the edge of the dark side. Thon was rather unique and perceptive as a character.
  19. Just an observation. Some folks take their Sith Lords VERY seriously.
