  1. I bought my copy used on ebay for 60 bucks US. And at the time that was a REALLY good deal. It was going for up to 120 bucks US. Yet I managed to get Suikoden 1 for 20 bucks still sealed. Its a really good game. Its long, yet well paced, with good characters and dialogue, and the villain is excellent.
  2. Funniest thing about the whole thing: Polls show the goverment will be about the same when the next election is held, so this is completely pointless.
  3. Suikoden 2 if not the best console RPG ever, is at least the best for the PSOne
  4. I assure you it's not hooked up to analog (tho I think it would be HILARIOUS if I had it running on rabbit ear antennas) Not only have they, it's on todays DVD tech http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...film/T2DVD.aspx It's all about compression in this case, not storage space. EDIT: if you click to link that checks to see if you can play it, it tells you: Format: 1080P (letterbox 2.35) ^ cool eh? EDIT 2: more info http://www.wmvhd.com/ and the 360 supports WMV HD, hence it can play 780 and 1080 movies, in the right format <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, neat. Shows what I know. I was waiting for all 3 terminator movies to come out in a 3 pack before buying them.
  5. Have you ever seen HD TV? Thats what the excitement is about. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like the pioneer elite in my living room? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats just a TV, you can't achieve HD with just a TV(but you need an HD-TV to view HD), you need an HD reciever to get any HD tv channels, and they haven't released any movies in HD yet. The difference between HD and DVD is about equal to the difference between VHS and DVD. After watching my Dad's couple HDTV channels for a couple hours, it was painful to go back to DVD and regular TV.

  7. the strong japanese developer support and the Blu-ray are the major ones for me. I'm not just a gamer, I'm a movie buff, so the whole HD movie thing is one of my big things.
  8. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/668/668446p1.html IGN's top 10 reasons to wait for the PS3.
  9. Yeah, if it actually happened and he's not just exaggerating, and it happens to a lot of people, dang, that could cost MS some serious cash, having to replace faulty systems AND the games they ruin.
  10. My brother claims his friend got one and it overheated so badly it melted his disc.
  11. I remembered what it was called and was able to find one version of it: http://flash.sunvv.com/a/3224.html theres a longer version, trying to find that now. Ok, found it. http://www.flashwo.com/homepage/13/200462210074.html
  12. A couple years back when I was in school, we came across a flash animation that had like every giant robot in the history of animation. There were two different versions, but they both used the same music and had generally the same thing to them. I'd ideally like to find both, but I'd be happy with one. Its done all chibi style with flashing colors and such and crazy japanese rock music, but its just cool because it has so many big robots. If anyone else has seen this and can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
  13. I wanted to play a malkavian my first time through, but the character design for it was so horrid that I didn't want to go anywhere near it. And the Ventrue looked too much like a thug so I didn't bother with that either, I pretty much stuck with Tremere or Toreador.
  14. I'm up for a team game too.

I think its called Fables. Not Neil Gaiman. I've wanted to buy the trades but I always end up finding something I want more, like a new Lucifer or something by Warren Ellis.
  16. All the leaders are pretty much like their real-life counterparts. Isabella wasn't exactly known for her religious tolerance, nor Tokugawa for his open and friendly relations with outher countries. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tokugawa actually was pretty open. It was his successors who weren't.
  17. Lately its been either Ten Thousand Fists by Disturbed, or Sleep by Story of the Year
  18. The two I hate the most are Tokugawa and Isabella. Isabella because I can never have decent relations with her due to me not converting to Buddhism(She has Buddhism EVERY time) and Tokugawa is just a ****. Cyrus is always one of the big ones, and he tends to be easy to get along with, which is nice. I even managed to get a permanent alliance with him once.
  19. I'd buy it. I got both the others, and loved them both. The first time I went through KotOR2 I didn't sleep. I couldn't stop playing it. Was up 35 hours until it was finished. Secondary playthroughs I was luckily not so fanatic about it.
  20. I just bought the last 3 parts of Robocop: Prime Directives. I believe they were a Sci-Fi original miniseries, not sure. Anyway, other than the B-movie production values, its not bad at all.

I was never a big DC fan, though I liked all of the DC splinter brands. Wildstorm, Vertigo, etc. But the main line of DC heroes never really interested me like the Marvel stuff. X-Men and Spider-Man just had a lot more appeal.
  22. But then that wouldn't be a true skill if just anyone can do what you do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you're confusing skill and talent. Talent is natural, Skill is aquired.
  23. I just hate having to get them to repeat themselves over and over because I have no idea what they're saying.
  24. One thing that bothers me is that one of the departments that every company seems to outsource is Customer Support. Who's brilliant idea was it to give the job of helping english speaking people with the problems with their purchases/services to people who can barely speak english?
  25. They should just pick up Global Frequency.
