  1. I have an ATI 9600 pro on an AthlonXp2400+, 1gb ram. Never had any technical problems with KotOR2. The only serious bug i had was in Korriban... the stupid bug where Kreia doesn't show up/open the doors after I defeat "you know who".
  2. Oh, damn! Same problem here... and my last save is at the start of Korriban. Damn! Damn!
  3. Please, please don't close the forum! I come here every single day to read about KotOR2 and the "single player rpg" forum. The regular users are fantastic... and, imo, the forum serves it's purpose.
  4. I'm curious to try it on the xbox. I'm a fan of the original game and i know these have little or close to nothing similarities to it. I might try it...
  5. Now that i've come a bit farther, i'll have to choose Wave.. it's fantastic! Daer'Var, my Jedi Master (27 wisdom, two lightsabers really help to push those stats really high) has not yet seen an enemy save against it. ---edit---- And with so many force points, Daer'Var really has to do anything else than Wave like the madman he is!
  6. So far, Stasis and Destroy Droid have been my favorites. Kreia's doing all the buffing. Stasis and then flurry the bastard!!! Later in the game i'll try those other powers.
  7. No, you can't turn it off. Try the cd's on another drive/computer. If they are ok, just make some backups; if not.. well... External drives are becoming cheaper every month.
  8. I say it's a shame.. Troika could have really developed some great games. But it didn't! They all had some unforgiving flaws... Arcanum, ToEE and Vampire could have been great. Shame...
  9. Well.. Minsc is, without a doubt, one of the most interesting npc's ever.
  10. I agree with Percival. Reviews can be tricky... HL2 can be a perfect example. While technicaly stunning, it just doesn't make me grip to it like the first HL did. Until KotoR 2 comes to PC, i'm keeping my mouth shut about it.
  11. Pirates is a very decent game. It's very close to the original in all but some details. I played it for only a few weeks though... I guess Sid could have been a bit more original and really added some more interesting content.
  12. And we all know Canada is the 51st State. And Iraq should be the 52nd.
  13. Ryan Adams, Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainright, Elliott Smith, Ben Harper, (...)
  14. How's it possible for the same company to make both Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights? The beauty and the beast... Since departing from Interplay/BIS, Bioware has not made any good game. But neither has BIS....
  15. Well.... Never had much of a problem with the law. And I never payed a ticket. Here in Portugal we call it: factor "C".
