  1. Something positive for a change. Turns out my brother didn't have heart inflammation after further tests and readings. I also ate something that has some taste in it. Spaghetti bolognese has never tasted so good in my entire life. I almost cried tears of joy while eating. I ate what I would call a kid's meal, but who cares! Real food! I actually had all of these feelings.
  2. Wednesday: Same as Tuesday.Thursday: Same as the two days before. Plus my brother tells me he has chest pains. Not so bad, he says. Looks like a wreck, I tell him. Order my other brother that has his final exam today to drive my wreck brother to the ER. I call 90 minutes later and ask what is going on. They don't say at first, so I tell them that means something is wrong. Heart inflammation... The moron would not have went if I hadn't ordered him to. I couldn't make this up even if I wanted to. captainpicardwtfisthis****.gif
  3. We all know those tweets are hints for their next game.
  4. Yeah, when your passport/id expires, you pay for a new one at the police office. The counterfeit bill thing was out of this world. It looked very real to me. They started to ask me questions and I couldn't help myself from laughing because the whole situation was so absurd.
  5. Time for some whining. Saturday: Some on broke into my place. Sunday: Clean up the mess. Monday: Renew debit card, passport, etc. The 1000kr bill I pay with at the police office turns out to be fake. Sit there for an hour, explain you don't know wtf is going on. get a bad headache during the evening. Fever and feeling ill. No sleep at all. Tuesday: Wake up, whole body aching, diarrhea and and headache still a fact. Wednesday: ???
  6. Happened to me once. I didn't land on my feet, but amazingly, no serious injuries. My back hurt for a couple of hours and that was it. I flew off the bike like you sometimes see in movies. My brother was with me that day. I scared the crap out of him, but when he saw me lying on the ground laughing, he couldn't help himself from laughing, too.
  7. Thanks guys. I do have an insurance. The ex- girlfriend isn't crazy. They didn't actually steal any of the computers, ipad or consoles. They were clearly looking for stuff they could put in their pockets. I say "their", because the way the place looks, it can't be only one person. They also did this while I was gone for two hours. Someone must have know I was gone. Funny thing is that I decided in the last minute to go watch the CL final at a friends house. The fact that things were stole is annoying. The fact that my privacy was invaded like this is unfuriating. Even my underwear, they had to go through. Oh well. Best not get hung up on this and move on. Going to get some sleep. Haven't slept all night, and my eyes are telling me that I should sleep now.
  8. Fml. Came home to see my place smashed. Jewelry and some other things missing. Even my bed is messed up. Called the cops, they've been here. Technicians coming over tomorrow to check out the place. Not expecting them to find whoever did this. Every time I start to feel like life is good, something comes along and drags me through the dirt.
  9. I hope we keep getting "early" updates. It means I can read it when I get home from work.
  10. Have'n been able to sleep these last few days. Woke up 4.30 am two days in a row and 5.45 am today. it's no health issue or anything, it's just so hot and it gets bright very early in the morning. I don't mind as long as the great weather keeps up. Been going to work in shots and t-shirt the last few days. If this weather keeps up, no trip outside of the country is needed for another 2 months. I have gotten two job offers but declined both. Work contract is ending on June 30th, but for some reason, I don't feel stressed about that. I had my boss sign my resignation papers today. Co-workers looked genuinely sad when they saw them in my hand(I could be wrong, though). Ever since I told my bosses a couple of months ago, I have been doing all the crap no one else wants to do. They seem pissed that I am actually doing these things very effectively. My mind is set that I will give it my all until I no longer work there. Even my breaks are at separate times, so I take my breaks on my own. The good part is that my co-workers are supporting. If it weren't for them, I would have left in January. Most of them jokingly call me a betrayer, lol. Someone asked me if I felt good about myself signing those papers. In short: I don't know how the future will look and for once, I don't care.
  11. Watching Silicon Valley. it blows Big bang Theory out of the water. There's a wide gap in quality, in my opinion. (Although, I do admit that Howard in BBT is a favorite character of mine.) Sure, they overdo it a bit in Silicon Valley, but I like the characters and get a lot of laughs out of the show.
  12. Had a fairly uneventful day, but still happy. We have summer weather and I can display my hairy body to the public. We're going to have great weather tomorrow and the day after, too. Can't complain about that. Spent a lot of time outside with the kids. We're almost nearing the end of the semester and the most important things are already done, so let them have some fun, I say.
  13. Ate two Nutella sandwiches for dinner. Had two glasses of milk because everything is better with milk.
  14. If I don't burn some hairs when I grill my meat, I don't feel satisfaction. Charcoal4Lyfe.
  15. ^That's what I have and it works perfectly fine. No need to buy anything fancy when you have one of those.
  16. Had my first crash in Skyrim after 95 hours. I'll allow it.
  17. They are helping with one MMO and making another one. Keep Pillars of Eternity SP focused.
  18. Ouch. I don't ever have to worry about that because I don't drive a car.
  19. You only need to listen to it without answering any questions? Just leave the computer on and do something that brings back your will to live.
  20. Post contains opinions and speculation. I wouldn't personally be upset if they launch Pillars of Eternity on Early Access this year and then release the full game when they are done. It will probably give them more money for development. If I look at it from the perspective of someone that has doubts about Obsidian or Pillars of Eternity, an Early Access release might not be what I would want. It gives sort of a bad vibe. That's what I have felt from other Kickstarter projects I have backed. I also wonder how it would affect their future Kickstarter project. Less people would probably be willing to support it if Obsidian has a bit of a hard time to deliver Pillars of Eternity this year. What is available in the Early Access would have to be freaking amazing. There are a few things that Obsidian has to consider when they decide what to do. Release on Early Access to gain some money but risk support for the future Kickstarter. (Early Access release doesn't have to mean less support for future Kickstarter, it's just what I think.) Or they release the full game, and from there people can decide if the game is good enough for them to warrant another backing of an Obsidian crowd funding project.
  21. I remember seeing this video posted on these boards when there was a discussion about something. (Can't remember what ) Cool that he got to try out a position at Obsidian. Judging from that video, he seems to know what he's doing.
  22. Beat chapter 1 in Blackguards. It's not an easy game at all. I had to restart the whole thing and roll a new character, because of how complex I thought character development is. I don't mind it, but it seems that I didn't build a particularly good character. Going with a melee build with some magic and ranged if situations demand it. I usually don't respec my characters, but I wish the option was there in this game.
  23. Wolf of Wall Street. Loved it. DiCaprio is great but it's a shame Matthew McConaughey has so little screen time. That was probably my biggest disappointment with the movie.
  24. The only thing I want Pillars of Eternity to take from Bravely Default is the way the demo was handled. The demo had some quests, mostly fetch quests and some boss battles. These were nowhere to be found in the main game. This way, the story of the main game was not spoiled. You could also not max your levels or get all jobs. You got enough to either make you yearn for more or not bother with the full game. There were also some small bonuses for completing the demo that you could import to the final game. (The items become irrelevant two or three hours in.) I wish more sutdios had the means to do demos like the ones Bravely default had but I know that is asking for too much.
