  1. Just made another successful transaction on the stock market. I'm a wonderkid.
  2. Talents in Pillars of Eternity are like perks in Fallout or feats in the Neverwinter Nights games, yes? I guess not including them in the beta isn't the biggest of deals. Could you list a couple of talents that you have in the game? If they work like the above mentioned games, they seem like an important part of building the characters you want to roll with. If I understand this correctly, we'll play without them and depending on our feedback, you will not only re-organize or flesh them out but also balance them or even cut some? Sorry for rambling but one more question, will some talents be tied to race and stats?
  3. Depends on who you support. None of the ones I have supported have come back to bite me in the arse.
  4. Watched the season 4 finale of Breaking Bad. This show is completely mental. Saul Goodman is my favorite character. I heard there's a spin-off show in the works with him as the main guy. Yes, please.
  5. Been having a headache for some time now. Not that regular headache I am used to. I can actually point at the exact location of the pain when I think about it. Called the local medical center and the woman on the phone told me to drink a lot and take painkillers. That was not the answer I was hoping for. She told me to call in a week. Oh well, she'll be responsible if my head explodes, I guess. It might have to do with my wisdom tooth, or maybe I'm just dehydrated. Drank more alcohol in five days than I have all year. Include unnatural heat and barely drinking any water, and that might be a good explanation. If it's none of that, then I don't really know what it could be. At least I have been drinking water like a madman.
  6. Entered the Withering gardens in Divinity: Original Sin. Lots of environmental hazards. Glad I have some points spent in telekinesis. My party will soon reach level 6 and then I can have a go at some level 7 skeletons that have been bothering me. I did manage to kill a pack of level 5 wolves. That was a fun battle.
  7. Spent the past five days in Stockholm. Spent that time with my brother and a couple of cousins. Lots of drinking, eating, late nights and then sleeping. We went to bed at 5am in the morning and I woke up at 7am. Going to sleep early today and get back to a healthy day/night cycle.
  8. You could have gotten the base game and expansion for $45. Back the $25 tier during the KS campaign and use beta add-on for $20.
  9. Almost everything they complain about in that review is what I enjoy. Funny how that goes.
  10. I think Larian are happy with sales, triple A numbers or not. They broke even within the first week and everything after that is profit. This game would never sell a million units and I think most peope realized this. I doubt Pillars of Eternity will see one million copies in its first weeks. As long as Obsidian gets decent profits, it will be a good start.
  11. The game was never meant as a triple A game.
  12. I hope they try their own. I wish for a game inspire by Arcanum or something out of this world. Fantasy, but totally crazy.
  13. On my first playthrough, I play on normal. If I like the game enough, I will try it on higher difficulties.
  14. i'm almost in the same situation. I'm playing nothing, not even D: OS. Time, I need more of it.
  15. Lex, time to buy dvd sets for every tv show you ever wanted to see and take long walks outside between every five episodes.
  16. Took out Le Grille and had some fun. My totally manly teflon spatula came to good use. Pork, hot dogs, kebab and whatnot. Some Coca Cola, beers and potato salad to top things off.
  17. They will include that info in a future update. It is something they have said that they are working on.
  18. The Paradox deal wasn't a thing then, it is now. Although that doesn't mean the stuff won't be shipped from the US. Also, I got my The Banner Saga rewards without any customs concerns and those were sent from the US.
  19. Ask him to bring back Mitsoda. Ask nicely first, then threaten him, as a desperate last act, go down on your knees and beg him.
  20. Pretty sure I never even touched half the side quests in that game. It's a mistake in a game like that to make entire cities/regions purely optional when they don't have any compelling stories or characters behind them (sort of like the rest of the game, actually.) Not really surprising from a game whose big selling point was some guy who worked on Oblivion, I guess. That's true, I guess. I'm certain that I have missed several dungeons or settlements. I don't really go out of my way to find them but once I get a quest, I usually complete it. I have care a little bit less about quests now that I have almost maxed my skills blacksmith and sagecraft. There is basically no reason to keep weapons you get rfrom loot other than to salvage it to create better items. In that regard, I have broken the game.
  21. Started up the third book in The Dark Tower series. It was a long time ago I read book two which meant I had to read summaries for them.
  22. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I took a rare detour from side questing and did a quest in the main story. I didn't even remember what the quest was about and I didn't bother reading the quest log. I treat this game as a mix of Diablo and The Elders Scrolls. Kill, kill, kill.
  23. Playing the third act in Puppeteer. The game is fun, so are the characters and the story, even if I feel that there's a little too much talking. The art design of the game is brilliant. I wouln't say the platforming is close to the best games in the genre but it is decent enough.
