NeoGAF is a popular internet gaming forum and they really like SotC there. I don't have a clue why it's so expensive. I also haven't played either but I know the general story(not much of a console guy...) EDIT: Oh and SotC has some performance issues and is generally different than most other games, most of it's value is in the story and presentation, so don't expect the best game in the world when going in.

Quick-time minigame? You need interaction to keep the immersion, man! I'm sure Heavy Rain will revolutionize the sex scene as we know it.

Oh god, I'm sure Bethesda could think of some horrible minigame for it and all the while the NPC would stare directly through the monitor and into your soul with it's cold dead eyes.

Not to mention that publishers spend tons of money on MMOs that are cancelled before they are even announced. It's quite an investment to see a MMO through to launch.

Speaking of choice and consequence it would be nice to have a game where the "good" choice actually meant personal sacrifice and not giving you extra XP and a reward. How many people would choose the good path if it actually meant physical disfigurement or permanently losing a party member with no reward what so ever. How about actually making the evil path desirable with useful rewards and the good path hard and thankless? I love how the choices are always: a) Help them b) Help them and be a jerk about it c) Set their dog on fire

It's one of the few noir style games and as weird as the writing is at times, it pulls it off. Also it was THE bullet time game, Remedy actually held the trademark for it at one point. It wasn't perfect, but it's certainly a classic.

They get pregnant from females as well right? Damn, should have had the option to use protection. The Asari are like intergalactic whores always trying to get everyone's babies. I guess it's better than you getting pregnant with Kaiden's cursed lovechild...

Mixing F3 with ME is like mixing sand and grit. Borderlands looks pretty cool though. It's more like mixing Prince of Persia with Diablo 2 and something that is a third person shooter.

A little information for the uninitiated: Max Payne 3 will be made by Rockstar and not the original developer Remedy, the writer(s) and voice actor are different. Apparently no noir style and stuff taking place in daylight. Pretty much milking the franchise and turning it into a generic shooter. Poor Max, hasn't he suffered enough?

Well ToR is supposed to be KotOR 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. NWNO could just as well be a "continuation of the story" even if there really isn't one. Would be kinda hard to 'splain that in-game. Then it would truly be Neverwinter Nights in name only
