Sometimes you're just better of not knowing...
  2. How about "Activision Sux"? It has a nice ring to it. Or maybe "Cappop"?

    The premiere draws near

I'm sure they'll find a cig & twinky planet just in time.

Looking at next week's trailer and some episode descriptions the "OMG we're out of X" thing is over, at least for now. Also, they ran out of cigs a while back.
  6. I'm not spoiled at all, yay! The audiobook is out on Audible as well, but I'm just finishing my Lord of Chaos re-read, so the new book will have to wait.
  7. It's a cat, what did you expect?
  8. No, it's a cat very disturbed by some really horrible WH40K fanfic.
  9. I was kidding, if some of you didn't catch that. TVtropes, of course!
  10. The automatic stuff is nice for multiplayer games, it's nice to keep the playing field balanced and at least Valve rarely screws stuff up too bad with their own patches.
  11. But how would the audience relate to a bunch of genetically altered fascists with oversized guns? You need to have relatable characters. I know, maybe one became a space marine when his family was gruesomely murdered by the evil orks/eldar/under-things? Another could be a bright-eyed idealist who will then be disappointed by all the fascism and sacrifice himself. Also maybe a hard-as-nails commander who is on his last mission before retirement, he lives only for war, but maybe during the course of the story he could learn to love...
  12. It takes quite a bit to outgeek people on an RPG forum, but you've done it
  13. Yes. No. Also, whoever is stupid enough to make a high budget WH40K movie deserves to lose all that money when the movie inevitably bombs.
  14. Faith Hill wasn't that bad, Celine Dion was much worse.
  15. Back in 2003? ...It would be THE movie to dethrone Transformers 2 as the worst movie of all time.
  16. I'm sure if you paid them like a million bucks they would make the game just for you personally.
  17. But it's Warren Spector, the man who made System Shock, Thief and Deus Ex. Sure, he also made Deus Ex: Invisible War, but I'd still put a little more trust in him than say the Dante's Inferno team...
  18. They better focus all those developers on Homeworld 3, you hear that Relic?
  19. Boo! \o/
  20. Yes, you have to have the steam app running and be logged in. Other than that, I can't really think of anything else that isn't common sense(losing password=bad, servers potentially going down=no gaming...) Good Old Games has completely DRM-free games. You can download them, install them, copy them(burn discs, put on flash drives...) as many times as you want and need no app or connection(other than to download the games in the first place).
  21. But it's not a "kiddy game", it's the next masterpiece from Warren Spector. I'd check it out if I had a Wii.
