What are you playing now - the plays the thing
BruceVC replied to LadyCrimson's topic in Computer and Console
Thats a pity. I preferred it to the first one. I found the decisions in W2 to be much more thought provoking and serious -

Hope you get decent hours for the price, heh. Was fun but kind of brief for me. Generally I am not very good at FPS. I tend to die a lot so the games do take me a longer to finish Sleeping Dogs is not a FPS. It's a 3rd person open world game with beat'um up, shooter, racing, and other forms of gameplay. The main quest line might be short, but a lot of these games are designed to just explore and do the racing and fighting challenges, and of course go on rampages. Okay, well I like exploring so that should suit me fine -
1) They are fanatics, their actions aren't necessarily rooted in any reality we perceive 2) because they are fanatics, they know that Israeli (over)reactions will just provide more foot soldiers for the Cause. OTOH, I never understood the makeup of the UN plan. Why would they get any of that southern land? Just give them the north, and the Palestinians the south, with Jerusalem as an independent city-state I tend to agree, it may seem simple but its does seem fair. I think though the issue is about both sides feel they have historical rights to parts of the land in the North and South, so they won't compromise?

Nah I can't agree with that logic, when you have the responsibility to save the world on your shoulders and every night this hot dark elf in bikini chainmail implies that she wants to ravage you horribly I am confidant you will find energy? -
Nice one, it sounds like it was a successful Thanksgiving overall

And thus, history repeats itself... *Game Over screen* Ingenious rise to power I think. All he need to do is suppress the masses so they can't stage a massive riot. It's easier to do now, since they are exhausted after the last uprising (Arab Spring). At the very least, I hope he's a benevolent ruler. Well there are major protests in Cairo at the moment, you should be able to watch it on all major News Channels.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-20458148 I am really concerned by this development. The newly elected Egyptian president, Mursi, has passed a decree that makes it impossible for any authority, including the courts, to overturn any decision of his. This gives him more power than any other Egyptian leader, including the dictator Mubarak. I am confused by why he would do this considering the fact Egyptians fought so long to get a semblance of Democracy and vote in there last election. We need to see how this unfolds

It does? Because I just watched the first of it, and I'm having trouble to see any difference. Okay, light effects are better but that's it. Having bit trouble to see the point of the enchanced edition.. while it's of course nice to get a version that will most likely work better with modern pc's, but what else does it do? Adds a monk npc to the game who is voiced by Mark Meer? Yay? I just feel like they could have done more than that. Like give the graphics engine a real update. I think it's been rehashed here enough times, there's 3 new npcs and they did all they reasonably could without having the original assets. It really boils down to whether you consider the ease-of-use upgrades, bugfixes including previously unfixable ones and enhanced platform support (I don't think a mac bought after 2001 has been able to run BG1 natively) worth the investment. I do. Yes, I also going to buy it. The main reason being I have never played BG1, only BG2 -

I agree with you but don't forget to add that Romance\Sex also adds to more immersive interaction with your party members, I think thats key. -

I was wondering if you had a good time. I am glad you did. I think its great that there are institutions like VFW( I had to Google it at first to see who they were) that cater for people at times, like Thanksgiving, who don't have anywhere to go. For me it creates a sense of community.

A true Christian would never joke about his Faith. You make fun of yourself just because you're afraid of the community. I find your comment both condescending and patronizing . I don't think Cant is scared of the communities opinion at all. He is a highly respected member on these forums and I doubt he needs to mince his words to get people to like him. He is just making a point a certain way, and in my opinion its resonates with people more than an insult from you.

This is a difficult political situation . I have sympathies with both sides, but I will say this (some of this has been stated before but its still my opinion) Hamas needs to at least recognize that Israel has a right to exist. So far they haven't The Palestinian delegation last year at the UN said that if they had there own state it would be "Jew Free". How does this help with reconciliation between Jews and Palestinians Hamas must stop firing rockets into Israel, its not the point that the rockets are basically ineffective. No country in this world would accept rockets being fired into there own territory. No country Hamas makes sure that they fire rockets from crowded civilian areas. They know that Palestinian civilians will be killed in retaliation from Israel. They use the civilian deaths as political capital. I found this practice despicable Israel needs to stop building settlements on contested land Israel must stop these controversial and covert military actions they make internationally. For example the assassination of that Hamas official in Dubai just showed there disrespect for all countries except the USA as they used stolen passports from many countries expect USA The killing of the Turkish activists on that ship by Israel was a huge political mistake. They need all the friends they can find in the area Both sides need to accept some kind of compromise around the land they both consider is there own due to religious history. Sadly I can't see an solution i n the near future. Once again a good example of religion causing strife rather than bringing people together

Norway appoints Muslim woman Minister of Culture

Context is important, however. Unless people feel that Islam is just fundamentally not capable of coexisting with others... a perspective that was once ascribed to Christianity. In fact, the intolerance of Christians is in large part why they were persecuted by the Romans! Fun times and all. I don't think anyone is even remotely suggesting we can't coexist with Muslims, the debate for me should rather be focused on the inimical threat around Islamic fundamentalism that threatens both Western and moderate Muslim countries. And most of the Middle East countries are allies of the West and also oppose Islamic extremism -

Sure and we use burn people who said the world wasn't flat. But I prefer to debate in present time and who impacts the security of the global world now. -
I disagree, there are a few other things to fear. What about being in a Strip Club, running up a huge bill and when it comes to paying you realize you have lost your credit card?

You known noting about Islam. Modern Jihaddist movement is USA/Israel puppets. Orthodox Islam (Sunni, Shia and Sufi) considered them as heretics and fight against them. For example this guy are Muslim. He is a member of the Russian anti-terror unit. http://www.globalres...eration/5304451 Are you suggesting that the likes of Al-Qaeda were created by the USA and Israel for some political purpose to benefit there own countries agenda's? Also I am not sure what the relevance of that photo has to do with my point about Islamic Fundamentalism. Almost all Muslim countries are conservative but they aren't fundamentalist. There is a huge difference. And only a small percentage of Muslims follow the ideological views of Al-Qaeda, I travel to the Middle East for work regularly and I am well aware of that
