  1. If you lived in a country that was under real military threat you would understand the significance of military service and the fact that women want to be soldiers wouldn't be an unusual thought for you
  2. German cuisine is very famous and respected. They specialize in meats like sausage and roasts. But they also do very good cheeses and desserts, like Black Forest cake
  3. I went to a Pizza place last night for takeaways where you choose your own toppings. I was stoned so I was very experimental. I had Double Cheese Chilli and Jalapenos Bacon and Spicy Chicken Anchovies Banana Avocado It really worked and Anchovies added a tasty saltiness
  4. Same as South Africa, you need a license for all pets
  5. I thought both Two Worlds were enjoyable. I know they had there obvious flaws but the good outweighed the bad IMO. I particularly liked the way you could create your own potions and spells So I'll definitely give this game a try
  6. Oh are you saying you can chose Serbia or Croatia if you want?
  7. You're actually wrong. The 2nd Yugoslavia ( first was a kingdom that ended in WW II ) might have ceased to exist in 1991, but Serbia together with Montenegro formed a federation called Federal Republic of Yugoslavia until 2003. Majek you know exactly what I mean, no one likes a smartass
  8. I hear you, its wrong though. You would think such an advanced company that is the leading gaming distribution company in the world would understand basic geography. Personally I would be insulted if I lived in any of the countries that use to be part of Yugoslavia That's no excuse, the countries like Serbia and Croatia won't change there borders
  9. @ Drowsy Why does your Steam profile say Yugoslavia? That country hasn't existed for decades
  10. I'm going to a very authentic German restaurant today, they do an excellent Eisbein which I am planning on ordering
  11. And what if a person doesn't want MacD's but orders it anyway? How would you feel then
  12. When a developer renames an engine, what they usually mean by that is that it's changed enough to be considered a new engine. Unless you happen to know the engine code very well, I'll go with Obsidian's take over yours, thanks. I don't think he is saying that is what he believes he is saying what Volo was insinuating
  13. okay that was funny
  14. What !!! Okay could the person who has kidnapped the real Shady please return him. This is no longer a joke..you are besmirching his respected gastronomic view !!
  15. Nice one I hope you are correct, imagine all the cool Mods we will see. As time progresses we see Mods getting more and more advanced and improving gameplay. What an amazing era we live in around technical genius
  16. Thank you Humanoid for explaining. Now it makes sense
  17. Its impossible to gross me out with gayness now, I've played far too many of Bioware's newer games. Good to know, good know. This is real progress Drowsy And they say that games can't really improve or change our perspective in life. You are evidence they can. You are no longer grossed out by gayness due to an optional Romance option . Nice one
  18. And your point is? Is that statement incorrect or is the electron engine inferior. As usual I have no idea what you are LOL about?
  19. The more I think about it the more I realize that the best combat option of the new Torment is an automated combat system where the game just randomly calculates who wins and you see a "win" or "defeat " within seconds of the battle starting Lets forget this RT with Pause and TB debate. Lets start to vote for automatic combat outcomes !!!! Who is with me !!!!
  20. One of us clearly hasn't understood his situation, and I doubt its me He says "For the last couple of months I've been working as an intern (required school internship) at a game design company. I can't name who or what, but they are fairly big on mobile. I was hired on as a 3D artist & animator, which is what I want to do with my life. However, when our community manager who also does a lot of marketing and client-interaction got hit with health issues, I got tapped to take over that job temporarily (mostly because of my good written language skills). Yesterday, said manager returned, and then promptly quit. Now I got offered that job full time (and industry standard pay) - which would replace exam assignments and still let me get my diploma, while giving me, you know, a full time job - and allow me fill up my portfolio with launching titles for large publishers, and I do mean large. Like, not Activision large but not far off. On the other hand, I don't enjoy doing this community management and stressful client interaction stuff, I'm an introvert and I only have so much energy available for dealing with annoying people, and it is especially not what I want to do with my life. Also, this company has problems (barely ever make deadlines or milestones, titles are abysmally reviewed, employees sometimes go months without pay and then get it all in one go). Beyond that, the exam assignment I've already got lined up to do is making and generally being the creative driving force behind a 3D animated TV Show in a collaboration between my school and a large animation company. This is practically a dream assignment, but it does mean I will still be racking up student debts especially considering we've already figured out this assignment will take longer than my limited scholarship will cover. This assignment is also a daily two hour to and two hour back commute whereas the job is right here in my hometown, five minutes from where I live." He has a job and he is getting paid(I'm not he is getting paid). But he is a junior so probably isn't been paid well, but he is on the technical career path that he has always dreamed about. In IT everyone needs to take a few years to specialize in a software skill and get hands on experience. This is how you become good at your chosen path, there is no other way. He has the potential now to achieve this But no you think he should do some sad community management job ( which sounds absolute crap based on the status of the company) which he has already told us he doesn't enjoy for what ?? How can you compare this to the real chance he has to get his dream job? No my friend, whatever you smoking I want some nowwwwwwwwwww
  21. You guys see conspiracy theories where none exist The OP meant what he said but I think he underestimated the support for turn-based support
  22. You might like these: Okay those are classic
  23. I'll be honest sometimes my Alt-Tab crashes the game, so that's not always an option I could print the manual out, as I mentioned, but its only a few things I needed to reference so that would be a waste
  24. A great-great grandfather of mine fought in the Boer War. Cornwall Light Infantry. Not an officer, though, so the silver spoon probably wouldn't fit. He and his son, however, were the most recent immigrants in my ancestry. (He moved to Ontario in the nineteen-aughts, re-enlisted to train recruits during the Great War, and them moved his family into the States in the '20s. My great-grandfather was born in Canada.) My father's side came out of a mix of Irish and German (or perhaps Danish) Catholics who settled in the coal mining region of Pennsylvania sometime in the middle 1800s. Others ancestors, via my maternal grandmother, have British-sounding surnames and have lived in central NJ for as long as we can trace. So I guess the proper six-word response I'd give is: "New Jersey. **** you for askin'." Wow that's an interesting and prestigious family history
  25. I see what you are saying and I agree. Let me give an example. I just finished IWD and despite the fact I know the AD&D rules I found there were several times I had to reference the manual around what spells to select. What I ended up doing is keeping the manual open on my laptop and playing the game on my gaming rig. But it would have been more convenient to a hard copy of the manual. This is not a reason for me to say "not having a hard copy of the manual detracted from my gaming experience" but it would just made things easier. So I see your point
