well the trip on foot should negate all the calories, you little health fanatic you I hardly think so. I can only assume you've never drunk mountain dew. It's like consuming sugar-dipped loft insulation. Yeah I agree, I was being sarcastic

Yes, this is exactly the answer what I was looking for. Someone expressing their opinion as a dogma and indirectly insulting everyone who doesn't agree with said opinion. And of course the cancer inducing humor. Bravo, sir, I applaud you. Don't expect too much constructive feedback from Monte, he doesn't even like Romance in Bioware games so his whole opinion on topics is questionable I can't say I noticed slowness around issues like the casting of Magic Missile but I do love that spell and always choose it. Its quick to cast and disrupts enemy spell casters. I also get a vicarious thrill from seeing my enemies get pummelled by multiple missiles. I have just finished IWD for the first time and Magic Missile provided invaluable aid in combat

Yeah, we had our servers hacked twice last year by friendly hackers (apparently from the country next door). Very fun sitting in an office all morning staring at a PC screen and being neither able to do any work nor at least kill time online while waiting to be able to do work. That would be cool if it happened here. They just forgot to install patches so the tests are invalid. Woo. At least I have my Kindle. Nice work ethos Malc, thinking that sitting at a desk and staring at a blank screen would be fun Why would Windows patches impact your testing of an application? I can think of the business reasons that would justify it but I am interested in the technical reasons they gave?

Sorry to hear Nep. Death is never easy especially when its someone who has some significance in our lives. Suicide in many ways makes it harder, I always ask questions like "was it from depression" and if so "was the person getting the necessary treatment" If you think of educated people who understand that depression is a chemical imbalance you would assume so but that's not always the case

I don't know Woldan, a real man would have gone to the forest and chopped down the wood he needed to build the chest. Its clear society has made you weak and that worries me

Geez that trailer looks amazing, I'll watch the movie and read the book. I find a book always offers a more detailed and insightful view to a particular event

Okay, that first line is pretty funny from you. Seems it's about right/wrong a great deal as the other guy needs to fall in line, so to speak. I'm lucky I'm pretty dead emotionally, can't say any game has made me cry. Though Grim Fandango came close when I realized it was over in the credits and nothing was left to experience in the world. Wow Malc you have got it all wrong about me. I don't want to prove people wrong but merely to give them a different perspective, see this as a positive development

I agree, well said

I fail to see the connection? A music video can be interpreted in different ways, the whole Miley Cyrus twerking incident is not the first raunchy music video we will see and will continue to see them. Personally I found the video fine and her way of trying to define herself and move permanently away from the Hannah Montana image. She also was the one doing it and made a conscious decision to make the video that way. I have no issue with that But that's not the same thing as a group of developers that makes a game that portrays women in only one way or where the women, or other groups, are at the receiving end of crude or derogatory jokes.

I need to mark this in my dear diary, but I do believe I am agreeing with Monte here. They've had a female prime minister, we've had a female president. Any attempts toward further equality since then have been of the "chopping tall people off at knees" variety driven by obvious paranoids. As I grow older and less mellower, and spend an increasing time battling bureaucracy (as a lobbyist) and bureaucrats (as a defence attorney), I have a decreasing amount of patience for the PC thought police. Admittedly, a side effect of the globalisation Monte mentioned is that people seem to assume that their perceptions are universal. Obviously, there are less enlightened corners of the world where the situation is different. Nep take a deep breath and consider what you are saying. Did anyone make your coffee for you this morning, I would suggest you go immediately to the hospital for a full toxicology and drug test. I am convinced someone has spiked your drink !!! No sane person ever agrees with Monte, we all know that

Prince of Persia wasn't enough for you? No. I have high expectations just like any other Persian. You do realize that Hurlshot is just joking Astiaks? We all know that a game like Prince of Persia doesn't accurately reflect Persian\Iranian culture

Don't pass your silly right and wrong label onto me. In my view, you are wrong as hellll. So who wins now? Come on guys, hit the green like button so I can feel I won an internet discussion. For me its not about right or wrong. This isn't a competition. But that's not to say you can't have your view or perspective changed on a topic through a debate on a particular forum. This has happened many times to me and I consider that a benefit from engaging in discussions on forums.

Well it's no secret that those in the gaming industry have been trying to make games as equals to other mediums of story telling, for whatever reasons that are alien to me. Games should first and foremost be games, and if the end result is a good story then so be it but let's not apply some sort of preachy standard to games in general - they've been trying to do it for a while and fail each time. I didn't say games are unacceptable for social discussion and the like but let me know when there's a game that actually has good enough writing to be considered some sort of legit critique of society. Mostly all we have is cheesy Bioware dialogues and other fantasy games with dwarf racism and crap. Riveting stuff. Game politics are cliched as helllllll. Maybe the Witcher 1 had some decent stuff mixed in there, but it didn't generate the amount of publicity of those nudey cards. A game like Bloodlines, I'd consider it a work of art for sure. I'm not knocking the industry in that sense, but look at what one of the creators is making as a follow up. Dead State - a real life response to a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. The game might be cool but I can only imagine the type of people who would take the scenario seriously. You know what would be refreshing change, if you actually acknowledged something along the lines of "hey guys you know what. I was wrong. Games do actually have a significant impact in our lives. The same as a good book or movie. I agree that we think about them and the storylines" I don't understand why people think that admitting they are wrong is somehow a sign of weakness or it undermines what others may think of them. Anyway just a thought

I'm now very envious of you I love most kinds of curry, but the Massaman and the Lababdar will always have a special place. Especially with freshly baked Naan to dip in it. I also luvvvvvvvvv curry We have a very large and active Indian community in South Africa so we get spoilt for choice when it comes to Indian cuisine

Ah yes the famous Chicken hearts in a Brazilian restaurant. I bet it was an "eat as much as you want" and they bring all this meat to your table in skewers? Those restaurants are always loads of fun, the secret in those restaurants is to avoid the more common meats as they use loads of salt and that makes you thirsty and then you need to drink which makes you full. Check out this restaurant in South Africa which caters for exotic meat. I always take guests there from overseas as it provides a good African experience. Its called Carnivores (download the menu if you want to see some of the meat available ) http://www.recreationafrica.co.za/carnivore

Guys I appreciate the fact that you are also supportive of Romance in Bioware games but end of the day its not a game about sex. So you shouldn't expect sex scenes that are too explicit and vivid Remember Romance even though it is an enjoyable part of the RPG experience its only a very small part of the overall game design and features that Bioware will include I don't mean to dampen your enthusiasm, I just don't want you to set your expectations too high.

I like that it resembles 'rapport'. Odd that 'ro' and 'or' are switched. Is eating hearts common? I'm afraid that sounds as enticing as bloody oyster-shooters. I need some broccoli to wash out my eyes. I wouldn't say its common but we also eat heart in South Africa, its delicious. I like Chicken heart personally
-
Yes we want it It sounds like a another interesting pickle you are in
-
But the graphics look olllllllllllllllld .....you sure this game is fun?

You always seem to eat so healthily..its a little depressing at times for me
