    Hey Oby!

Sorry to break it to ya Bruce but currently the biggest global threats are US, NATO and Saudi-backed ISIS. Not Iran. Not Assad. Not North Korea. Not even Russia or China who tend to mind their own business. Oh don't misunderstand me, I don't think the likes of ISIS are a global threat but that doesn't mean they aren't a very disruptive force to the Middle East and other regions And a real sectarian conflict between Sunnis and Shia, which is what ISIS wants, in the Middle East would have serious consequence for the whole world because of the impact to the oil supply..prices would skyrocket this alone should be reason enough that ISIS needs to be defeated But once again we are on opposite sides of the types of comments that say things like " Russia minds its own business" . This is patently untrue, there annexing of regions in Georgia and Ukraine clearly dispute this view. In fact they have demonstrated a very imperialistic and jingoistic attitude in recent years ....so Russia is doing many things but minding there own business is not one of them
  2. Good points raised Volo, you shouldn't play PoE at all...I'll give you regular updates around my experience
  3. I love all sausages. German, British, Hungarian, Polish...you name it I eat them all We have a well established sausage industry in South Africa so we are spoilt for choice From my travels I am leaning towards the Eastern Europeans as having overall the best sausages like the Polish and Hungarian varieties
  4. Huh? What don't we know, are you saying Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother aren't responsible ? I think he clearly said "we don't know" Yes and I clearly said " what don't we know " Even the lawyer for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has admitted he is responsible but his defense argument is that he was under the influence of his brother but there is no doubt he was involved so I am missing this view that says " we don't know "
  5. Huh? What don't we know, are you saying Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother aren't responsible ?
  6. http://edition.cnn.com/2015/04/08/us/boston-marathon-bombing-trial/index.html Salutations All So we all know the circumstances surrounding this horrific event. Personally I find this terrorist attack especially heinous and craven considering where it happened and the jury has found Dzhokhar Tsarnaev guilty of all 30 charges But the question is " should he receive the death sentence" ? A life for a life, some will argue its the suitable punishment but for me I have my reservations about the death sentence but I am undecided on this incident I reserve my opinion until I hear other views, there is a argument that says a civil and advanced society should never take anyone's life as a life sentence in prison is a fitting punishment but others may disagree
  7. Shady you have become soft, what would your ancestors think? You do realize that there is only one solution...you need to take a weeks leave and go somewhere like the Grand Canyon and stay in a cave but the rules are you cannot use a tent or take food...you need to hunt and fish. That should remind you of your love of the outdoors
  8. Well I suppose you can always set up a tent outside the RV to make the experience more authentic ? You could put a tent up in your living room, but it doesn't make it camping. I kid, I kid. Seriously though, I have no interest in camping unless the post-apocalyptic wastelands are on us. And I still wouldn't have an interest in camping amid the radiation, radscorpions and killer mutant critters with a taste for flesh, but might not have any say in the matter at that point.1 1Awww, who am I kidding, I'll be killer mutant critter chow within minutes of the post-apocalypse happening - I'd never survive long enough to sleep under the irradiated sky. You funny
  9. I hope so. No, it's a freak show on parade and a glaring example of why the West is in decline. You think the solution is to follow Russia which has implemented Homophobic laws? Would following Russia make the West stronger ?
  10. I read it as an outside of the local area LGBT group came in trying to stir something up, the local gay population told them they didn't want any part of it, the outside group left. You right that could be what he meant, I just don't believe it The LGBT community faces enough discrimination on a daily faces from people who push a homophobic agenda I find it hard to believe they would discriminate against themselves like that especially in a place like Poland which is relatively conservative about gay rights anyway. I would think the LGBT community would stick together but you never know
  11. Well I suppose you can always set up a tent outside the RV to make the experience more authentic ?
  12. Yeah I have to say that the idea of using an RV while camping also resonates with me
  13. Okay that video was really good and it made me hungry I see that cook says you mustn't prick the skin, I always do because then the steam can escape and there is less chance of the sausage splitting ?
  14. Link? I saw the press conference and no one was screaming at anyone. For a change, the mayor and police chief should be commended. Far too often, when stuff like this happens the mayor and police chief try and justify murder, if not help cover up the incident. There were several disruptions when people shouted at the Police Chief, he even said at one time he was going to end the interview but he continued Link or it didn't happen. I watched the interview on Sky on the TV but I'll see if I can find a podcast or something similar No sure what Valsuelm was watching but the crowd did shout out when the Police Chief was talking (not during the Mayor's address though) ..... I'm not sure I would call it screaming but there were disruptions .... http://www.abcnews4.com/story/28743212/live-now-on-abc-news-4-police-release-details-on-officer-involved-shooting About 8 mins in there were cries from the crowd of "No Justice" while the Chief was talking .... Yes this is exactly what I saw, thanks for the link with the video ...I couldn't find one
  15. There is no LGBT community in my area. Gay people kicked them out when they wanted to start some protests or whatever. I'm talking in general. Just look at the OP. Bashing me for having an opinion. Well not personally, but if "white heterosexual males shouldn't speak" or "kill all men" shouldn't offend me personally then neither should my rants about LGBT in general or the limerick in PoE as those are not aimed at specific person. As for the vicious circle, I'm not a big fan of turning the other cheek. In fact most people aren't. What LGBT is building up is a mass hate that will eventually turn bloody. And innocent homosexuals etc. that are not part of and don't want to be a part of LGBT movements will get killed. That's how people are. What do you mean Gay people kicked them out ? The word LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender How can Gay people kick themselves out of your area? Believe it or not Bruce, not all gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender people agree with all that the various 'LGBT movement' groups say or do in their name. In fact, most gay people I personally know disagree with a great deal of what they say and do, some quite vehemently. It's not unlike the fact that a great deal of black people don't agree with what the Rainbow Coalition or NAACP says or does in their name. Or the fact that a lot of older people don't agree with what the AARP says and does in their name. Yes I am well aware of that but the suggestion that some Gay people are going to forcibly remove\kick-out other Gay people from an area I find hard to believe

  18. Nice those are my favorite hikes, just a day but a good full day

  20. Just because they have become accustomed to the discrimination doesn't make it right. Referring to someone as "it", regardless of the reason, is 100% dehumanizing and uncalled for. Unless youre purposely trying to be rude to them? Most of LGBT individuals tend to change their favorite term for themselves so often that any sane person stopped bothering with correct terms long time ago. Also I'm not obligated to be pleasant to any person. And I'm especially not gonna be pleasant to any person that have a problem with me based on my race and/or gender by default. You seem to know a lot about the LGBT community? I assume you have lots of gay friends....got to be honest that surprises me as you generally come across as a bigot on most topics .
  21. How long and far is the hike? Do you camp and pitch a tent or are there cabins you use, I love hiking but only for 2 days at most
  22. Just because they have become accustomed to the discrimination doesn't make it right. Referring to someone as "it", regardless of the reason, is 100% dehumanizing and uncalled for. Unless youre purposely trying to be rude to them? Well said Gfted1, but there are plenty of veiled comments that demonstrate bigotry in this thread...Sharp_One just doesn't know where the line is or how to hide it so he won't be breaking forum rules
  23. I have just watched the live press interview on Sky with the North Charleston Police Chief about this incident He said he was sickened at what he saw but he kept getting interrupted by people screaming at him...the whole issue of the Police abusing there power and targeting minorities in USA has really become a volatile situation. People obviously assume that there will be no justice when these types of events occur

    Hey Oby!

Now this is interesting, I look forward to what these documents will reveal
  25. For me its more annoying, the reality is its a game that offers massive entertainment value...so what if some tombstone has been changed to avoid perceived offense? Lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater and now not support Obsidian. If people want to stop supporting Obsidian because of this I say let them go ....I'm sure they will find Bioware games more to there liking ( and for the record I like Bioware games ) In fact every time I see someone say " they wont support Obsidian because of this " I'll buy an additional copy of PoE
