I claim discussion in these threads gets childish because it does. Empty statements that point the finger and smugly regard the opposing side as idiots, without highlighting any points at all. Flip back through the pages and the threads and you'll clearly see this. No worries, my claim that conversations with a person are a complete waste of time will remain exclusive to you, as that's not a claim I throw about lightly. I doubt anyone cares if you think our discussions are childish, its irrelevant and irritating to have you lecture people You have no idea how many times i have wanted to comment how childish some of your posts in the GG thread are..but I don't So try to extend to people the same respect that they give to you when you constantly bring to our attention " corruption in the gaming industry" And I'm not being passive-aggressive...I am displaying unequivocal annoyance because that's exactly how I feel

They locked like 5 of these threads if not more, if anything they realized its kind of pointless by now. So yes, of course they care or at least cared. THey will lock this one eventually too. I disagree, my experience has been the Mods have only closed down or consolidated repetitive threads around this topic And they closed down threads if a Op asked it to be done

Nah, it won't be tolerated by a subset of the fanbase who frankly don't have to support Obsidian if they feel that strongly about it I say if people have such little patience and respect for all the hard work that Obsidian has done at entertaining us through the years and choose to make such a big deal about such a little change to the overall game then they must just go. Well I have really enjoyed this thread for two primary reasons I enjoy relevant SJ discussions where there is interesting feedback and that doesn't necessarily mean people just agreeing with my views I have loved the eloquence that many people have demonstrated with there ability to create limericks ...well played guys

You choose 'paying taxes' of all the examples in the universe one could come up with as doing the right thing? And you need your overlords to make sure you pay taxes to them? There's some circular logic fail for ya. Also, paying taxes has as much to do with doing the right thing as God has to do with choosing and blessing monarch X that claimed 'divine right'. Taxes are a primary way a government is able to maintain institutions and invest in the growth of a country I don't consider the government overlords but the custodians of ensuring a country is functional What would be your suggestion for a government to generate revenue and before you answer that consider this, every single government in the world uses some form of tax system because taxes work and are relevant to what governments need They could lower government spending while offering incentives to create free market alternatives. Sure but lowering government expenditure is something that should happen anyway and is what most governments aspire to achieve I like the free market concept but there will always be certain things that any government will want to be responsible for to ensure fairness and reasonable control of so its not abused by the private sector So free markets aren't the solution for everything ?
