  1. I'm pretty interested in that, might have to get it soon. I'm playing through STASIS at the moment. It didn't amaze me quite in the way I wanted to (so far at least) but then again I was pretty hyped up about it. But it's good. Sound is fantastic. The jump-scares so far takes away more from the atmosphere than anything though unfortunately. I have this game but I haven't played it yet I am keen for your feedback and overall opinion as its the first South African game developed in South Africa by local people And we aren't known for gaming development
  2. Well you can hardly be blamed for that. Being a SJW means starting from a position of truly believing their thinking is more "right", their way is better than everyone else's. And if they could just MAKE everyone see things their way it would fix the world. It would be difficult for them NOT to be condescending when they start by presuming themselves better than everyone else on the merits of their ideals. Actually SJWs and religious zealots have a lot in common on that count it would seem. Two sides of the same coin maybe? No my friend you have to update your knowledge of the behavior and views of the SJW movement We never use words like " thinking is more "right", their way is better than everyone else's "...thats an unfair characterization and a little inaccurate We prefer to " help people make the right decision " and " remove the worry and stress from people having to make certain choices around economic and political policy by making the choices for them " So please don't see SJW influence in bad way ...its really something that will benefit society
  3. Oh yes I am well aware of how people generally on forums cannot discern humor...you have no idea how many times I have tried to joke with someone and they took offense as they thought I was being serious I always try make the point that I am not a malicious person by nature....so if I say anything that sounds malicious then its a joke...yes I am sometimes condescending but I am working on that
  4. What he said about his son was very moving and sincere. Yes he did impress me overall
  5. As western "aggressions and interventions" were partial cause that lead in current situation, meaning that what ktchong wrote was not complete nonsense but too simply put as there is other factors like interventions from Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Israel, governance history of Syria, history of Saddam's regime in Iraq, divination of Muslim faith, history of minority groups in the region, and so on and so forth. Syria works as example how even minor intervention can cause unstable situation to explode much worse crisis, meaning that US supporting Syrian rebel groups together from sanctions from quite lot of nations lead in situation where Syrian government could not prevent ISIL/ISIS to take over large parts of the Syria under their control and when those some of rebel groups that US supported sundered to Al-Qaida it meant that there are now two terrorist groups in Syria that control large areas. I'm not sure why you are still disputing the reality of what caused the Civil War in Syria? It was not caused by Russia or the West. There was only one factor that caused it....the Arab Spring I can't explain this anymore as I'm going for dinner now
  6. Oh my.....too much of an important and active thread to respond to one question....I apologize
  7. Hi Monte " waves" Monte do you have any idea where the UK government is planning on letting the Syrians live once they get to the UK ?
  8. This is very similar to how I see the various conflicts and uprisings in the ME, its very rare someone shares my view
  9. That made me laugh in how melodramatic it was. Wonder if these people really shake with outrage, they should probably see a doctor about that if so. It sounds like pretty standard drama geek stuff. Which is melodramatic ...its not like all gamers are like that, I don't think this forum is like that but I may be wrong?
  10. Sure but thats why the USA doesn't want to get involved in the ME anymore ...its a pointless and utterly unappreciated experience Russia doesnt really have the revenue to waste on trying to " help in Syria " , I hope they realize the West is not going to agree to help but frankly if Russia in wants to intervene then they should ...its not like Syria could get worse?
  11. Oh some cool news I got m my new BMW today its a 2015 F30 320d Sedan But due to BMW 40 year anniversary I also got some cool unique features
  12. That made me laugh in how melodramatic it was. Wonder if these people really shake with outrage, they should probably see a doctor about that if so. Yeah thats overdoing the outrage a bit
  13. At first I was like, "that makes sense, consequences for being a douchebag and all." But then I realized we live in an age where Trump is still a legitimate candidate despite his trolling, so she will probably get picked up for some 'comedy' tour and make a bunch of money. No even Trump wouldn't do something so crass and insensitive just for laughs and to make a mockery of a group of people He generally is trying to make a political point when he makes those controversial points I am very glad she got fired and the reasons she was fired were similar to my outrage .." cruel and lame.”
  14. The issue is the West cant allow genocide of innocents, like why the USA went back into Iraq last year to save the Yazidis who were about to wiped out by ISIS. So even though it may seem reasonable and logical what you are saying there is this humanitarian precedent that in most cases the West wont ignore and I support this http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/09/yazidis-trapped-mountaintop_n_5664857.html
  15. Yes I agree, it is sad but what do you expect from the likes of ISIS? Also ISIS thinks they are destroying what they consider is blasphomous and somehow this will change or rewrite history but all the historical sites data is kept on softcopy so they will only rewrite history where they control
  16. First of all, though, it's dead wrong. And after that, when asking why it's being said anyway, being "anti-West" usually is a good guess. Denying that aggression and interventions from US, EU and NATO don't have any role in current refugee crisis is just as much denying reality as saying that there is no climate change, especially such where humans play part. Of course like every complex issue there is no single cause behind them and no singular point of time that could be pointed out to be the start, but still denying it happening is just dishonest and putting one's head in sand. Also claims of "anti-West" are usually most dishonest because there are no singular West and people from the "West" that are critical towards so called actions of "West" aren't usually any way "anti-West", but people that don't agree at least with all actions that their leadership has decided to do, which as itself is very "West"-like mindset and way to think, because it is "Western way" to question and criticize actions by our governments. I would go even so far that people that yell "anti-West" when people criticize actions of our governments are more "anti-West" than those who criticize those actions. I'm sorry to disagree with you again but I fail to see how the US, EU and NATO are responsible for Syria. This civil war was caused by the Arab Spring I'm happy to read any links you can find. You see this is an important because if you right then I woulds say the West needs to take some refugees but once again why should they if they had nothing to do with it ? The ME surly needs to "Anti-Western" is just a term I use to describe people who basically dislike the West, don't trust the West or tend to blame the West for things its not responsible for. There will always be people on every forum who dislike the USA or the UK..its normal but I just like to know why When you give weapons to rebels that fight against Syrian government and put said government under trade embargo, and threaten everybody that helps said government with trade embargo, and when you have destabilize neighboring country with decade of war and leave it under governance of government that don't have control over whole country and who also could be said to persecute some of country's population you create environment that explodes easily to civil war and let criminal elements take control over things, which leads to situation where said country becomes unattractive and even dangerous for its basic citizens. Here is some links that give one picture how actions from US, EU and NATO have cause destabilization in ME and therefore are partial cause of current crises. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/11203825/Syrian-rebels-armed-and-trained-by-US-surrender-to-al-Qaeda.html http://www.wsj.com/articles/covert-cia-mission-to-arm-syrian-rebels-goes-awry-1422329582 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_War https://www.gov.uk/guidance/sanctions-on-syria http://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/Programs/pages/syria.aspx https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American-led_intervention_in_Syria http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2014/12/crisis-iraq-was-rise-isil-surp-2014122592114375688.html http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/earlier-intervention-could-have-prevented-the-rise-of-isil-turkish-pm-tells-cnn.aspx?pageID=238&nID=86036&NewsCatID=338 Yes but none of those links dispute what I have been saying from the beginning The war was started due to the Arab Spring and how some Syrians wanted more political freedom....its not that hard to believe And yes this means the West did not start the war but they did provide aid as I acknowledged in the beginning
  17. Honestly forget the Arabs if they cant protect there own historical sites. I am happy with how Western countries manage these types of sites
  18. Strange that they think this development somehow humiliates Obama ....the USA was never prepared to commit to Syria unless it received UNSC support Obama made the right decision, a legal one. Why should he feel embarrassed ?

  20. Thats been an interesting post, I knew some of it but most I didn't Thanks for sharing I'm interested why you think Putin is reasonable? He is directly involved in destabilizing Ukraine which should be something you condemn as he is basically involved in a domestic war?
  21. Well not by itself but we both know there are other things that inevitably come up Why have I misunderstood you? Do you believe in the West and the USA? I assumed because of other things you have said
  22. So I'm not trying to paint an overly positive picture but I have been thinking about this and its not as bad as you think So remember these are very different Muslims to what you are use to, they have lost everything....its all gone. They would have very little faith in Syria or any country in the ME. Think about it they have made a dangerous and difficult to get to the EU. I suspect they will be thankful and grateful and will want to commit to Western culture but keep there faith...nothing wrong with that. You won't see them complaining and criticizing there respective EU country I may be wrong so let me know if I'm wrong
  23. Dude I know I shouldn't laugh but this was seriously one of the funniest posts I have ever read ...the way you describe it " Send 'em to Sweden. The self loathing Swedes can't get enough of these " ... is that accurate ...its very funny if true There is some logic to this as well....let the EU countries that want them absorb them. Where do you live again? Its not fair to force this type of social expectation down on countries that just dont want this type of problem or really know they can't deal with it. Think of Drowsy and Serbia ....is it really reasonable to suddenly want the Serbs to take in Muslims? It wasn't that long that numerous Serbs were indicted for war crimes in wars against Muslims And its not that I dont think Serbia couldn't pretend to be fine with it ...but why should they have to pretend
  24. You asked me an the other person why we were anti-western. I corrected your assumption being that I'm not anti-western, but in opposition to the institution of compulsory governance, known as The State. I'm not sure what there is to explain. Okay fair enough, let me clarify. What do you mean by "certain western States presently reign as the greatest menace to my own life "...what states and where do you live that you think your life is in danger Why do you say " particular governments highest on my animosity list would likely be different" why do assume you would resent a government in another time or another place? Do you find you just generally don't trust or like governments and its natural?
  25. I'm not anti-west, I'm anti-State. At this particularly moment in history, and that which is most relevant to my life directly, certain western States presently reign as the greatest menace to my own life and the broader world. Had I lived at a different point in history, or even geographically in the present, the particular governments highest on my animosity list would likely be different. Can you explain what you mean by giving examples, I dont understand your point ?
