bug free games don't exist. it's the impact bugs have on the player's experience that make or break a game. I can live with a buggy game if the bugs aren't game breaking and frustrate me while playing the game. I just think Kickstarter has run its course. Obsidian's next project should be self-funded until the point they can get on Steam's Early Access, if a game by Obsidian pops up on Early Access, I will most definitely buy it. Kickstarter projects I don't trust with my money at all.

ok, I don't know exactly what the SAC is about, so I had to google it. seems it's a spin-off, loosely tied to the original (they go as far as just making their own version of Ghost in the Shell 2, titled Solid State Society - they take the same episode from manga as Oshii's movie did, which is really strange, because in the manga it's a small episode taking place in the very beginning that is referenced once or twice as the story progresses, having little impact on the story as a whole, it's hard to say why so many people want to produce movies based on it). since Shirow apparently had no input on how SAC was developed, I think it's safe to say most of its themes can be largely ignored with that said, Motoko had many boyfriends in the manga (one could probably say that she is "promiscuous"), so she is far from a prude
-
so it is Motoko from GITS we're talking about. in the movies she doesn't have any genitals so there are several scenes where she is completely "naked". since it's a synthetic body, she doesn't feel it's indecent to not wear clothes to the point at which she would refuse to use her thermal-optical camo in the name of "professionalism" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WAoLiKHtnM in the original manga she's a lot more liberated in regards to her body and sexuality, there are numerous panels where she's having orgies in virtual space, so, again, we're way past the "showing cleavage" point

to be honest, the only thing I remember about Robo 3 is that it had android-samurai and a jetpack
-
I LOVED Robocop 2, one of my favorite movies of that period. I remember it being darker than the original Robocop, I also liked the antagonist(s) more
-
yeah, it's one of the better movies with her. The Ward was ok-ish, and I kind of liked the Exterminators (that was how I discovered Amber Heard, actually).
-
I know the feeling, I watch everything Amber Heard stars in, and most of it is crap (Syrup, Paranoia etc.), still, I can't make myself not watch it

Pixel Dungeon is pretty brutal... I know there are a lot of JRPGs for Android currently on the market. may try a couple of them later, stuff like Chaos Rings, Blazing Souls etc. also have King of Dragon Pass in my wishlist- 40 replies

do we have a thread about decent games on portable platforms? if yes, feel free to merge this one with it. I came across a very nice game for Android, and just wanted to share, but thought a separate thread for that kind of stuff wouldn't hurt. anyway, the game's called (Joe Delver's) Lone Wolf, it's an RPG/choose-your-own-adventure hybrid, and I'm loving it so far. it has good art direction, decent combat and progression systems (for the platform), decent writing, and good production values overall. it's just what I needed to scratch that RPG itch when I'm away from my PC (which is a lot lately thanks to school, can't even continue my BG2 LP due to the lack of spare time). give it a try if you're into this kind of stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3AjrtTlMRw also, excited to see your recommendations (preferably RPGs, but any game you consider good will do)!

I've heard they removed some features from it, compared to Mi3 and Mi2S, some people say the devs have dropped the ball with their latest phone (with some hardware). but I wouldn't know since I wanted a Mi2S specifically, so didn't keep my eye on the latest devices my only gripe with my new shiny is how the screen eats battery life if I play games. it goes through 20% of battery's charge in one hour, which is pretty crappy. maybe I should get one of those extended batteries.

I had my counter reset a few hours ago, I checked it yesterday only to see it didn't let me check the second box today. bloody GOG, they must be feeling my hatred towards TW2
-
so, last month I dropped my phone onto a pile of rocks, screen went "bye-bye", replacement costs $100 because this particular model has sensor glued to glass, so can't just replace the glass... anyway, long story short: used this opportunity to buy a new phone, and as luck would have it a Xiaomi Mi2S popped up on a local Craig's List analog. I just couldn't pass such a good deal (took it for $220), so exactly one year later I'm a proud owner of one of these babies. I didn't want to order from China because I'd heard a lot of horror stories about fake Xiaomi phones, but this one is the real deal, I had a chance to play with it before buying, and I was instantly hooked. their OS is amazing. it's like a love child of Android and iOS, I don't know how I lived without it all this time

after reading about what Titan could've been I gave out a sigh of relief, sounds absolutely terrible, so I won't be forced to play it by my friends who're into coop shooters (I am already fatigued from fighting off their attempts to drag me into Loadout, Team Fortress 2, MNC and the like)
-
that's the main reason I don't play their games, not because they're unoriginal, but because they all look like a Disney animated movie, which is repulsing
-
probably what they could salvage from Titan
