watched Open Windows today. it's a pretty fun cyberpunk(y) thriller, which unfortunately falls apart in the third act. it also has terribad acting (save for Elijah Wood, he's good, as usual). I still don't understand why it was necessary to cast Sasha Grey when any young actress could've done her part a lot better

looks awfully similar to Bastion... yeah, I think I'd prefer to see HBS continue making Shadowrun games, perfecting the formula

but InXile knows that. that's why RTWP could've been a better choice, they would've made sure it was better than in the original game. actually, I am cautious now, having played Wasteland 2 and seen how bad TB combat made by InXile can be. I would've preferred to see their take on RTWP. alas, now we'll never know

to be honest, in my eyes Gaider comes off as a very immature person. the problem is way deeper than he makes it look, and Sarkesian is also a part of that problem, which he goes on to completely ignore. maybe I'm reading too much into it, but he makes it sound as though the fact that Sarkesian identifies herself as a feminist absolves her of all guilt before other feminists

hey! I actually liked "The One That Got Away".

depends on your definition of "good". it's nothing like what I expected from it (in 2010, when they revealed it, it sounded groundbreaking). under pressure from some players and, probably, their investors they changed their design goals and turned it into Borderlands Online basically. only with no memorable characters and mediocre story. if you're looking for a free FPS/TPS that you can play with your friends, hurry up and try it out, because at the current rate Firefall will be closed down in a year

because it wasn't. and anyone who expresses that opinion on this board is either baiting or just fooling around. there's a possibility that said person actually liked DA2, of course. but people tend to like all kinds of stuff, the thing is, people who like DA2 tend to not like Obsidian's games

hah, actually watched it too, because it's recommended by Good Bad Flicks. I really like Danielle Chuchran, I try to see all her movies, so that was another reason. plus, movies about orcs and elves are few and far between... but I still couldn't bring myself to liking it. too bland, action scenes are badly choreographed. meh, in other words also saw Gone Girl, I thought it was very good. I'll have to watch it a few more times to figure out if it's just my love for Fincher talking, or if the movie is truly great in all aspects and Rosamund Pike does look and sound similar to young Sigourney Weaver
