I liked levitation in Morrowind, really useful. For everything else I used my Daedra swords.

well, someone is definitely bored, that I can say for certain. and it's not I

wow, exactly my situation. I thought I was alone on these boards with that problem (in my case I ran out of steam playing Skyrim about 3 days after getting it, because it was so similar to Morrowing, only uglier and with less soul).

Mortal Kombat sure has changed... last MK I played was MK4, and this looks more like Killer Instinct, only KI was a million times better -
Sunless Sea looks so terrible in videos that no amount of praise will ever get me to play it. talk about a "hit or miss" visual style

I'm not saying they shouldn't reuse assets. it's just that I don't want to even see this game anymore because of it.

so they're just reusing assets, eh? meh. one of the reasons I never picked up Age of Decadence is its art style (the other reason being TB melee combat - the worst thing ever in a game). going to pass on this one as well it seems

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7p3anZXsvLE new "CoD killer" out on Steam Early Access. the original game this is based on (Contract Wars) was relatively good for a browser game. so if you're into that kind of stuff keep an eye on this thing

so, I spawned a Bozar for myself to see how it looks in New Vegas. didn't want to sell it or use it, so I dumped it into a garbage container in Goodsprings. then a fight happened, the town folks had to defend themselves. right after the fight I went into the saloon and spotted this: apparently Sunny found my Bozar in the dumpster and helped herself. can't blame her, just surprised to see AI rummage through containers for gear -

I found this mod somewhere on Mediafire, it has hundreds of player models ripped from other games converted into New Vegas armor pieces. the ones on the screenshots are from Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 2. the folders say "VGU", not sure if that's a known mod. it's 4+ GB in total, though. the weapon is a modified AK with several attachments, taken from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42014/? I wanted to try and play New Vegas like a modern shooter instead of an RPG, I want to see how far I can get with only this rifle, body armor, helmet, a .45 pistol and explosives. as a sidenote, I never played Modern Warfare and really want to pick up this Remastered edition, but I'm not really interested in Infinite Warfare maybe I'll find them bundled for cheap, but I'm not paying 50 USD on Steam for it. -

you're probably right, but there is this one instance where I will have the possibility to travel in a vertibird, IIRC, so technically the "air" part is still valid thus, DEsert, Air, Land sounds about right -

alright, denizens of Mojave, hold onto your butts, Desert SEALs have come to kick ass and take names (come to think of it, since there's no sea in the Mojave wasteland, maybe I should rename them as "DEALs" ) -

yeah! first win in Dungeon of the Endless after 3 failed attempts. the funny thing is: both characters that started on the first floor got killed on the way to the exit, so really, it's not that much of a win technically still, I'm pleased with my score -

I wanna play Hyperlight Drifter so much -
as promised I tried Dungeon of the Endless. and boy I'm glad I did. this game is so addictive, I have to force myself to close it. it has everything: strategy, tactics, resource management, combat (this last one is a bit too simplistic, but that's by design, you don't really control your characters, you're more of an observer - kind of like that dude in Aliens, sitting in the APC watching helmet cams of his squad members). one thing I really dislike is the whole roguelike aspect of it, randomization can really screw you over (as it is doing to me currently, I'm on the 8th floor, and dust just stopped appearing, the more doors I open, the less food and tech I have because monster waves just keep getting bigger). it also really punishes you for any mistakes (again, as it did me, when I was answering a phone call and forgot to put the game on pause, didn't notice my best character get eaten off screen). but otherwise the game is so good, I'm willing to let it slide.

guys, I think I have a problem. am I getting too old "for this ****"? just installed Dex, really wanted to play this game for the longest time. and it's the same problem all over again. the first area you get to after the "tutorial" has a boss fight as a way to begin your adventure. you're all alone, against a tough opponent and 2 of his minions. they hit like hell, attack you in pairs, have unblockable attacks and don't care about you hitting them, being able to hit you regardless, which interrupts your attacks. I mean, do these "game designers" give any thought to what they put in their games? this is the third time in a row this month when a game managed to frustrate me before I even had 1 hour with it... uninstalling this turd. and god help me if NEO Scavenger turns out to be as bad.
-
I will play Dungeon of the Endless next, have been intending to for a year.
-
yeah, I agree, there are times when I want to be challenged by the game. but that's not the reason I bought Underrail. I wanted to play a post-apocalyptic turn-based RPG. and when the first five hours of the game are spent fighting rats and going back to base to heal up - and this cycle is repeated over and over again, I think, most people would lose interest, because they have better things to do with their free time.
-
thanks for the warning. uninstalling it as I write this good thing it wasn't expensive, hopefully the next game from these guys will be better. but I'd rather play through Fallout for the 20th time than have to suffer through this. I'll "play" Underrail on YouTube.
