  1. I ocasionaly play PvP in Guild Wars and I have no desire to play a medic, I seen how monks have to deal with healing its not my thing. The problem with online games is PUGs only go as far and get slaughtered by any clan/guild since those guys live for PvP and do a lot of stategy training that PUGs naturaly lack and joining a guild/clan means time investement I really dont feel I can do since I dont live to play one game. Thats a problem with games that end up being more a job that entertaiment, online PvP games are expecialy guilty of that.
  2. Oh can you please upload something in a A4 size becaue god knows I how I enjoy having to look at posts that are 1/4 of the poster signature size.
  3. I dont feel the need to get anal raped by online FPS players that been playing since Half Life days. That is the problem I have with such games, I am not very good at FPS and I dont feel like joining a team of random people to get slaughted.
  4. After THE LIST its was kinda hard to say anything nice about something I knew that was going to fail. I strongly pointed out why "Epic Levels" were a bad idea even before THE LIST, a lot of things that KotOR II did were screaming "failure". If Obsidian did not released THE LIST ... I might have tried to be positive about it but in the end I would post the same things because I was sure it was a bad idea. (THE LIST is the the list of gameplay elements and story that was released on the game anoucement) KotOR was a sleeper hit, I dont think LucasArts realized what it would do. People think I hate KotOR, I find KotOR a fine game despite many flaws and if I did create a Star Wars RPG it would not be like that but its one of the best Star Wars game that I think only TIE Fighter is superior. The series is dead because LucasArts simply rushed KotOR II to fill in the spot left by Star Wars:Republic Commando delay, also KotOR II make the game around Revan with means KotOR is ALWAYS going to be around Revan and no matter how much I like my KotOR character it does not mean I want to see the Deus Ex Revan showing up again and again because of fan service. Half a million ... thats is pretty low and considering many simply got the game in the chrismas rush that means even less. KotOR II was rushed, it had a messy storyline and countless bugs ... I bet Xbox players might start to get pissed at the low technical of the series. Besides you are a die hard fan, like the idiots that want Baldur
  5. I agree. KotOR II end up destroying a possible good series of Star Wars RPGs with idiotic fan service, I hope its serves as a example of why making a game were the basis of the story is fan service is a bad idea.
  6. Oh really? You think that after KotOR II ending that was "Go meet Revan" and all the trash talk about the True Sith and the crap about leaving the loved ones behind people will be happy if KotOR III simply makes it a footnote in the loading screens and NPC gossip? KotOR III could be about the invasion of the Pink Vorpal Bunnies of Doom that wiped out the True Sith, the False Sith and the Halfbaked Sith along with Revan, Raven, the Exile, the Misplaced and The Fired but people are not going to like that it does not follow KotOR II ending, they want resolution over the whole True Sith stuff and the Exile and Revan ultimate fate. Obsidian made that trap for KotOR III storyline and it cannot be avoided, they are dammed if they included it and they are dammed if they dont. A lose-lose situation, unless its Obsidian that did KotOR II story and is simply continue its work.
  7. Obsidian own words about LucasArts requests its that the Sith would have to be in it (and they are not, those are not Sith) and it had to be open ended (Its Matrix: Revolution open ended). Obsidian set the game to have a direct sequel based on their storyline, that is not making a game ending open ending (making one would be destroying a Sith fraction and allowing the player to know there are other Sith around but the threat being over, at least for now) and the fact they set up the storyline for the next game as nothing was written that they would be doing it sounds suspecious ... perhaps it was a honest mistake from Obsidian side but the fact is KotOR III storyline is set by KotOR II storyline, THAT is not open ended.
  8. KotOR3 might be on Xbox 360 or not, its likely will be but nothing is assured. Its clear LucasArts dont want to start KotOR3 development right now, for one there is the aging engine and two the fact the engine was designed for Xbox and not Xbox 360 and the fact BioWare allowed the engine to be used but likely they are not interessed into making a updated engine for the Xbox 360. LucasArts have just come out of Ep III game releases that were important, they dont have a engine for KotORIII and I really dont see any team that is able to create its own engine wanting to pick up Obsidian story. So we are at a point were a KotOR III can only being made at this point using the current engine (with some graphic upgrades) by some relative obsure game studio or by Obsidian. If not that means a new story unrelated to the Revan crap and the Exile nonsense using a new engine and that means a development time of 3-4 years. Personaly I think Obsidian tried to blackmail LucasArts with the KotORII story (after all that story is not "open ended", its simply part 1 of a larger story and only Obsidian could make some sense out of it, anyone else would have to play guessing game and being stuck with a storyline they did not created) and it blown out in their face, looking at LucasArts unwilling to pay for patches and their lack of support they were not very happy with KotOR II for some reason and I dont think it was because of the crappy ending and weak storyline ...
  9. Micorsoft handles developers kits, I am sure LucasArts already have a Xbox 360 developers kit.
  10. I stop reading at "Microsoft Games Studios". How stupid you have to be to think that Microsoft Games Studios that are nothing but Microsoft publisher and developer of Microsoft own (PC and Xbox) games will know something about Star Wars game line that belongs to LucasArts ?
  11. I played Fatal Frame ... stop playing because the camera is just too anoying and the game does not scare me at all, no reason to play its sequel. I am supposed to pick up Haunting Ground so I cannot comment on it.
  12. Too bad you spend that money of a realdoll of Boba Fett ...
  13. I wait until the PS2 version comes out to see if players find it "fun" or not, the GameCube userbase is not big enough and considering Resident Evil main series became a GameCube exclusive (until RE4) its hard to get a honest opinion of who are RE fanboys.
  14. At least he did not spend 3000 on some overgrown doll ...
  15. Movies are cannon, Boba was beating by a blind man with a stick and cried like a little girl ... no EU can ever override that.
  16. At least he is not a Boba Fett fanboy ... how sad its is to be a fanboy of someone that is beaten by a blind man with a stick and cries like a little girl?
  17. There are questions that are best not be asked ...
  18. Oh another stupid online test ... I wonder if I have enough brain damage to take it? ... ... ... No.
  19. Games with frustrating elements are not really fun to me, one thing is giving a challange and another is driving the player angry because there is one key part that the player simply cannot pass. Such games dont stay long installed in my computer ... I know about those sequences in RE4 so I decided to forget about picking it up for PS2, it have two things I hate ... babysitting NPCs and press button sequences.
  20. They recycled Planescape:Torment story. Just because you did not recognized it was recycled does not mean it was not, most stories share the same basic concepts but in KotOR2 the story they recycled did not worked for that expecific setting.
  21. As one review said, KotOR2 was made because a sequel to KotOR had to be made .... KotOR needed no sequel, BioWare made a game that had a start and a ending and then KotOR2 was made to cash in the popularity of that game (after all they managed to get KotOR enties into the Database with all their spam). KotOR2 have no merits of its own, its foundations are build in KotOR. Only reason of why KotOR 2 needs a sequel is that Chris confuses Matrix Revolution with The Empire Strikes Back and failed to make a proper ending to the game. If KotOR3 is made is just because KotOR2 was a big failure in providing something close to a ending.
  22. Translation: BBC just published another useless article of baseless expeculation.
  23. Of course they did, they are dealing with Atari that is even worst ... Next stop, Activision.
  24. Welcome to the future of gaming ... crappy mini games.
