This is the first time we hear about Xbox packages,what they include and the price. PS3 is rumored to also have a basic package without a HD but nothing have been official stated ove PS3 packagas. The point is Xbox fanboys were stating their console superiority and saying that Xbox 360 having a HD in all models would make it better that PS3. A HD is not needed beyond to store save files, I say it again NOT NEEDED. You cannot direcxtly access the HD without modding the console, a console is not a PC and you sould not be installing games on a console HD.

That ends up being a load of crap, the PS2 does the same same with a HD and only thing that improves is loading time. The fact is the HD sould never been used beyond save game storage, the fact a lot of people reported problems because games WERE using the HD to cache data and screwing up the games, the HD was never intended to been used in such a way. What happen is that both PS3 and XBox 360 will both have games that will use the HD to cache data but that is going to be optimal.

Way back when PS3 was said to not include a HD at a basic package I said I like it because I dont want to see developers looking at a console HD as anything more that a storage device for save game files. Funny enough is that the article I linked have a MS representative saying pretty much the same thing. Now I do find curious that TES IV:Oblivion no longer have a PS3 version as as in the past it could be said that was because the PS3 HD is not included in all PS3 but now the same will happen with the Xbox 360. Considering the fact that TES games have always been fairly bugged ... makes me wonder if Sony would want something with the technical quality of Morrowind being a lauch title for their console. And before anyone decided to call me a PS2 fanboy ... I own a Xbox and all Xbox games I played so far were relative bug free but then again I dont own that many and did my research over how stable those games were, I say that MS simply have too much of a relaxed quality control over what is published for their systems and I dont see that going to change.

The game (Guild Wars) economy is in crapper right now and there is a huge content lack, you beat the game and you done ... PvP have issues (I would spend too long talking about then and I dont play PvP). It it was not free I would advise you to save your time, I think that at tops you can have about 1-2 months of things to do but nothing after it and that was with a stable economy, the current one have such a high inflaction that you end up forced to farm just to provide basic needs (crafting armor and getting weapons).

Maybe they will enjoy being unemplyed. MS have no problems in buring franchises if it helps selling the Xbox 360, their biggest problem with the Xbox was the PS2 had such a large user base that it was far more profitable to develop for the PS2 only, they hope to close the gap with 360 so at least cross plataform becames a more viable option. Halo 3 at PS3 launch (but what launch? the PS3 is not going to be released worldwide on the same day, it could mean the japan launch or the american launch day) is certainly possible, you keep forgetting that the PS3 is not comming out 3 days after Xbox 360 launch and developement kits for the 360 exist at quite some time, if the Xbox 360 is capable of having launch titles why it cannot have Halo 3 about 4-6 months after launch?

You are right and wrong. Black Isle became Interplay RPG label but Interplay had made RPGs before (Bard's Tale) and BiS staff worked on other games, its not like they grab random people from the street to work for Black Isle.

I think Sony is toying with the idea of releasing the PS3 without the HDD as a way to lower the console bungle price and so making less of a loss when they will release the PS3 under the Xbox 360 price. Since I rather have the HDD to store save games intead of being used to install games ... I would not mind that since it would force PS3 developers to see the HDD as a save game data storing device and nothing else.

Thats D&D and d20. Never in the history of Elder Scrolls games have EVER armor hurt spellcasting but it was only possible to cast spells without holding anything in the hands. I read a explination they done so to remove the need of a player to having to "read magic" but that is bull****, they already made it so when you press the attack key your will automatic ready weapons and strike so such system would be implement in relation to magic as well.

It works like this before. In order to cast spells you had to go into "read spells" mode that removed any shield and weapon you were using. So that sword of doom +10 that made your defence go up the roof was gone as you were casting spells, it allowed spells to be very dangreous but also very risky. Oh and we have now a penalty to casting when wearing armor, I hope you enjoy being a spellsword.

Sacred. And Oblivion have mounts, for some reason cannot actualy swing a sword when ridding. And quite frankly I am not going to say how I would handle spells, I was prefectly fine with the old system but they had to dumb it down since some players simply cannot be bothered to press a DAMN KEY.
